Won’t find many of these. 1967 Shovelhead FLH full dresser . I’m storage for 40 years, California bike. Would need to go through it but looks like it’s all there and in good preserved shape. I have not done a thing since I picked it up.

I have a 1963 flh pan/shovel I have had for many years. Its been in the family for a very long time. Top end has about 600 miles on it now since rebuild with new valves ,guides, springs, seats, 3 angle, 8:1 pistons. Not sure on the bottom end mileage its been so long since it was done but It don't get ridden much. I would say less than 12k,Rods felt nice with no up n down play when top was done. Work was done by VEE TWIN RACING. Bike has B cams, electronic ignition and s&s carb, other than that its a stock 1200. New parts include 'under 200 miles',, front 23'' rim and tire, handlebars, grips, biltwell seat, battery, rear fender, tombstone tail light, floor boards, clutch tamer, steel and friction plates. ''new under 600 miles'' rear tire,, 180/60r16,, coil, wires, plugs, oil and filter, tranny fluid,, Bike has inverted forks with some custom aluminum covers up top we had made to make them look fat. Kick only bike, hits on 2-3ed kick after sitting, first when shes warm. In a aftermarket 4 link frame with progressive shocks in rear, fuse box and relays are located on the splash guard , generator and regulator were done a couple years ago and charges great, drips a little oil when it sits, think its coming from seal behind the front pulley, have not had much time to look and it don't bother me. Little chrome pitting on some of the 4 link,, May be able to deliver between FL and western NC for fuel.. Bike IS Harley titled, Title is with engine. Let me know if you have any questions, I will be glad to give you my number. Thanks for looking

vintagemunro Store I'm listing this machine for a long-time customer and good friend... An immaculate and fine running, low mileage example of the '72 Shovelhead! As the story goes this bike was part of a large collection in Texas; where this 1972 Harley Davidson FLH Shovel Head to underwent a complete restoration. It is the current owner’s understanding and belief that the 9,900 miles on the odometer are original as the condition of some of the original parts he has examined with expert Harley mechanics support the mileage shown on the clock. He’s had many experts hear the engine running and they all concur it is one of the smoothest shovels they have ever heard. This matching number bike has the majority of its original parts; and underwent a restoration while under the previous owner's care. The machine was dismantled, the frame blasted and powder coated, bodywork repainted in the correct starburst purple, the seat reupholstered, rims, spokes, tires, all fasteners, cables, hoses and fittings renewed. The original owner was told that the engine was well within specification and that it was reassembled with new gaskets, seals etc. The bike was sold to the current owner with 9,952 miles; stated by the seller as being original. It now shows 9,954 and will likely show a few more as it's ridden occasionally. This was the first year of the front disk brake. As far as we can tell it is all original with the exception of the front disk brake assembly (chrome caliper holder). We're not not sure if they are correct for the '72, but those luggage hard bags (correct model) look perfect for the machine.. The current owner keeps this bike in running order and starts it regularly. It’s ridden occasionally and then lovingly detailed back to the condition you see in the pics. To get a full appreciation for just how clean this machine is, please check out the detailed hi-resolution pics on my Flickr page. To view the full-sized images on Flickr, click on the icon on the lower right of any image page and you'll be able to download or view all sizes. Show quality shovel with only 3500 miles on it since Resto/Mod. I have owned since 2009, restoration completed by last owner, when I bought it had only 500 miles on it. I only put on roughly 3000 miles on it in 6 years probably because I own 2 other bikes. This bike turns heads wherever it goes. If you stop at the bar expect the ladies to want pictures of them on it. I only changed 2 things on it (the tank decals, and the kickstarter I wanted it in brass, not rubber, the other one comes with bike, you don't want the other decals they wouldn't even dress up a Honda) There is a deep scratch on front fender from the Lockhart oil cooler rebounding off of it. I have touched it up with an artists brush many times, I will send what is left of paint in can so you can touch it up. The only other thing is that it leaks some oil." Wow a shovelhead that leaks oil" It has leaked this way from day one and has not gotten any worse in 6 years. I add about cup full of oil every 4 tanks of gas.( Harley 20w50) Please no tire kickers or dreamers here. Don't waste my time

1975 Harley-Davidson FLH Shovelhead. Great running shovel here for sale. Well cared for with recent trans rebuild, new Barnett clutch and aluminum pressure plate. I added the larger early model throw-out bearing and a six bolt clutch basket while I had it apart. This bike has all new bearings in the wheels, steering head and swing arm. New rotors and pads on the GMA calipers. The rear suspension is Progressive heavy duty shocks that drop the bike about 2" with the shock mounts moved into the swing arm. The front end was lowered 1.5" also, so the whole bike has a great low stance to it. I also just added the Fred Kondlin Bonanza bars with a late model one piece riser/clamp with locking screws in it. The paint job is by a local painter and is flawless. The wheels are polished aluminum CCI disks. I also replaced all of the chrome with polished aluminum. Forward controls include Joker Machine pedals and foot rests. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has a 4.5" S&S stroker flywheel in it, an S&S Super E carb with DaVinci Venturi, and S&S 450 cam. Air cleaner is an authentic Goodson. The exhaust is all stainless steel, made just for this bike. Battery is a 1 year old glass mat 300+ CCA hooked to an All Balls Starter with custom heavy gauge cables. Kicker is heavy duty and works great with a hot engine. Lots more just ask, see it running on YouTube at- http://youtu.be/b6mCLJRbOAo http://youtu.be/b6mCLJRbOAo http://youtu.be/5tgb9KAWPck This bike is ready to ride, I like building them, once done, well I get bored real quick. Over 11,000 dollars invested. Clean VIN, numbers match and clear title in hand. Buy it for $8700.00, cash talks. Ready for my next project, Will consider trades for stock FLH Shovelheads or stepside pickup trucks. Bike is advertised locally so ad may be pulled without notice. Local pickup required. Please ask questions, I am happy to answer them.

I've owned this beauty for some time now, I'm a fair weather weekend rider as you can see by the miles (actual miles under 30m). Since I don't ride it, time to move it. Will accept any REASONABLE offer, I know what it is worth. I recently converted the belt drive to chain and changed the gear ratio so I could keep up on the freeway. Motor/transmission inspected, repaired and upgraded at that time last year. 4 speed transmission. Leather Buffalo saddlebags, polished aluminum and chrome. Loud pipes that sets off car alarms and rattles neighbors windows! Love it!! Electric start with S & S carburetor. This is a sweet ride. You will enjoy riding an older bike and especially a Shovelhead Harley Davidson. $9,000. OBO cash. In storage, I also have the factory original pipes, windshield, original speedometer and hard shell bags if interested in the deal. Cash payment in full before ownership. Interested serious buyers only.

Restored 1973 shovelhead. Completely torn down and rebuilt. See the complete build thread... http://bike-talk.com/threads/shovel-rebirth.14782/ All new wire harness. Every bearing in this bike has been replaced (swing arm, neck and both wheels). Both jugs have been replaced with factory 74 cc (Pistons, rings, valves). Rebuilt crankcase includes new high performance cam (see built thread for specs.), and bearing. Transmission is rebuilt with original gears. Both 16" wheels are powder coated. Rebuilt brakes on both ends. Too many things to list...read the build thread. I spent 1 1/2 years putting this classic back together. There were no shortcuts taken, as I planned to never get rid of it. But, plans change, now someone has a great opportunity to get a classic ride. I was going to sell off some other parts, but would include them with this deal 1). New, unopened set of dual exhaust pipes, mufflers and tail pipes. 2). New, unopened twisted ignition set.

1969 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200cc shovelhead, 4 speed, mostly original. Clean and clear KY title in my name! Last year for the generator shovel heads. Runs great. Always looking for dirt bikes for the family or other street bikes. Comes equipped with; 16" apes installed 5 gallon tanks S&S super E carb electric start only! Original primary cover! Only made from 1966-1969... no clutch inspection (derby cover- that's how harley made them). Avon tires - in good shape LePera seat Alto brand clutches new throttle cable new clutch cable new front brake cable blue paint- nearly perfect Progressive shocks drum brakes- original original 4 speed original engine cases original frame true duals with fishtails original factory saddlebags S&S cylinders cycle electrics generator- USA made New factory style harness New rear wheel bearings and pushrod seals this past winter.Original handlebars included- very expensive! (internal twist throttle)This bike has never been cut. I have no idea the amount of miles on this bike. I don't know the last time the engine was overhauled. Everything is tight and smooth, starts easy and rides great. It's a classic! I've owned this bike for 12 years. I managed an aftermarket shop in St. Louis, Mo. - Fog Hollow. I've done all of the work putting this bike together in a professional shop. I ride this currently. Needs a speedo cable and a dash light bulb. It does leave a few oil drops when parked. This bike is really sharp and gets compliments everyday I ride it. It's a great bike and will be sad to see it go. But, it's time for someone else to enjoy this classic. Email me with any questions. I will crate and ship for an additional fee. I have shipped internationally.
