BMW Sidecar Racer, Originally raced in Germany in the 1960's and 70's.This machine is period correct with many rare German racing parts and though no longer competitive she still packs a punch. 1943 Zundapp KS750, An old German war horse from WW2 the Zundapp and BMW 750's were the back bone of the German infantry. USA had the Jeep and Germany had their sidecars. Very few Zundapps survived the war making this mostly original example extremely rare. This machine was discovered in Italy by Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz and it was featured in two episodes of American Pickers, from the barn find in Italy to delivery to our store in Norcross GA. Blue Moon got the motorcycle in running condition and we can report that the engine and gearbox function properly. 1935 NSU 501 OSL, 1935 NSU 501 OSL, The 501 OSL headed the NSU range for much of the 1930s. Displacing 494cc the over head valve single produced a claimed 22hp @ 5,500 rpm resulting in a top speed of 130km/h. In contemporary adverting NSU were able to describe the model as being ready for the motorway whilst owners had the satisfaction of possessing one of the fastest German road motorcycles available at the time. The model was noted for its high specification which included a foot operated gearbox, full lighting set and a twin port head with the option of a raised twin exhaust system being offered, as seen on this motorcycle.
