This is a 1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade. I purchased a few years back with 24,911 miles. The bike was not in perfect condition but was running and rideable. Since my purchase I have made a few changes..... I have replaced the front cowl mount and front cowl. The original mount subframe broke behind the headlight where it mounted, resulting on a "bounce" in the cowl causing the front cowl to crack. Both have been replaced. The subframe is for a limited and the lower cowl mount points do not line up, so the lowers are not fully mounted, but they do not move and are secure. I have removed the original clock, radio, and cb, along with all the related components. I do not have them as I have sold them over the summer here on ebay. I have replaced the radion with a PYLE boat unit (ugly white), and speakers with some good sounding Pioneers. The system sounds good, unit takes cd and usb flash drive, and has a hidden antenna for the radio. The front suspension seals were replaced and I replaced the fork springs with progressives. The rear suspension was replaced with progressive air ride. The original compressor on the bike works and operates as it should with both front and back suspensions. The bike stator, regulator/rectifier are not hooked up and the regulator/rectifier has been removed, which I still have. The bike runs of of the Poorboy conversion and runs strong with it, at 900rpm the bike is charging at 13.6v, over 1100rpm the bike is at a full 14.4v. If you do not know what a Poorboy conversion is, google it. It is essentially a car alternator, mounted behind the left lower fairing (not visible), runs off a pully mounted to the crank shaft behind the radiator. I have run this for over 35,000 miles and have had no issues. All 4 carbs were rebuilt last year with Randakk's carb kit. She smells and runs like a typical carbureted bike should. Commuting I get around 38mpg and cruising, light on the throttle I have pushed upwards of 45mpg. The color of the bike is now bedliner black. It has been sprayed with rattle can bedliner spray and can be remove. This bike is my daily rider and will continue to ride it until she is sold, so mileage will increase. She has served me very well. I have over 41,000 miles on her and she runs strong. I have done many long mileage jaunts on her and she doesn't fail me. She gets more looks and questions when riding with my buddies than any bike I ride with, always draws a crowd. She does have the typical "clunk" when shifting, but this is normal for the model. Clutch is fine, brakes work as they should (front is a bit soft, always was, but has plenty of stopping power). I have the trunk, it has been removed because it is cracked. Included with the sale, if wanted, original subframe, regulator/rectifier, original front cowl, front brake caliper (has a broken bolt for the pin retainer, but can be fixed), rear trunk, and any other items I find laying around. I live in North NJ and ride her all year long, minus snow covered roads. Only reason I am selling is I am moving on to another bike. I have it listed as Buy it now, will consider reasonable offers.

MUST BEE SEEN! $2500 OR BEST OFFER! MUST GO! This bike runs great, I just took it out of the garage, bought a new battery, and took it for a ride. It has 73k miles, and it was purchased with 67k miles which goes to show how much I rode it. I trailered it to Daytona Bike week twice and put 1500 miles on it on each of those trips. It really needs to be taken on a nice long ride to work out the old gas. It is running great, but seems to have a hard time idling. I'm sure it is just in need of new gas and a long ride. Possibly a low idle adjustment. My wife has been sick and is currently in the hospital so I just don't have the time. I may well have this fixed by the time you see it. I purchased this bike 7 years ago with a blown Stator. I installed a Super Stator and began riding/restoring the bike as the years went by. It has a set of brand new engine covers, that is they were purchased on Ebay, but had never been mounted on any bike, they are in near perfect condition. The engine covers are very rare items and are worth probably $500 all by themselves. I have mounted a pair of Kuryakyn highway pegs. Also, I have removed all of the CB and radio hardware and wiring from the fairing. I installed an AM/FM CD radio. At the left hand side of the handlebar, I installed a remote which was designed to be installed on the column of a car, in place of the CB control tree which came on the bike. This remote goes with the Sony Stereo I installed and controls many functions of the stereo. I always intended on putting a trim piece of leather around the stereo where it sticks out, but haven't done so. I have the original cover for the CB with lock, it can be adapted to cover this area. Also where the CB was installed, I wanted to put a trim piece of leather, but all I had in there was a Satellite radio receiver. The bike has plenty of defects in paint, trunk etc. . . but is in excellent shape for its years of age. It comes with a factory repair manual as well as an aftermarket repair manual. It comes with a matching full face helmet and two aftermarket helmets. It also comes with a 50th anniversary gold cover. I am sure I have more to give with the bike, I need to look in the garage. ******13,500 original miles****** Previous owner bought from original owner on the boarder of Iowa. He bought the GL1500 when it came out 3 or 4 years later and sadly never road the 1200 afterwards. Unfortunately it sat outside so the paint faded and some rust and pitting also. It's in good running and riding order and seems to have had the stator wiring updated. There are no rips or tears in the seat and overall the chrome is in good shape.The one problem I noticed is in the rt front brake caliper, it appears to have a small leak, as there was some dark staining or ? on the rotor. The brakes do seem like they need work. But it does stop. The tires are in good shape. It has newer mirrors, and an extended windshield. The exhaust is also in good shape. Priced to sell. I bought it to restore, but recently moved and have condensed from a 4 car to a 2 :( It's also for sale locally so first come first serve.

Thank you very much. 1984 GL1200 Goldwing Bike has been redone 5 years ago, Repaint,many extra chrome and lights. Lights are 90% LED's. I rebuilt starter OEM. which if you know these bikes 1984-87 GL1200 starters had problems after many years. They will not turn over very fast after bike was up to temp you needed to wait 15-20 Mins and it would start. I rebuilt starter and I have not had this problem again and it's been 3 years since I redone the starter. Also the problem with the plugs on left side of battery the 3 wires that for stator, Plug for stator has been removed and hard wired solder and heat shrink. I have not had any problems at all with the stator on this bike. Front fork seals been redone with OEM seals and OEM bushings & Race Tech springs. Rear shocks are New Progressive Suspension 416 Both tires are Dunlop Elite 3 Bias Front with 90% tread and Rear 85% tread rear does show a little bit of cupping but not bad, tires put on 3 years ago. I bought a Gl1500 with sidecar 2 years ago and have not road GL1200 a lot since. But I have taking it out some. I put 150 miles on it just before winter. Brakes pads are 80% good and are Sintered HH Brake Pads and brakes calipers all 3 have been rebuilt. I have a J & M CB with intercom on bike JMCB-2003K-DU also have Pioneer CD player with XM Satellite radio built in. I have XM Satellite Tuner in trunk. I am trying to give you as much info that I would want to know if buying a bike on e-bay. The bike is 31 years old but I would not be afraid to leave on a 3000 miles ride today with it.Well I would change oil & check the tires pressure before I leave. And hope it warms up some. since it is only 21 deg now...lol I will change oil and filter with OEM filter and Honda oil before it sells. I can do this the day it is picked up and show buyer how to or I can have it done before. I have only run Honda oil in bike since it been in family for 7 years. I can store it for you until spring if needed to. I also put a custom Hartco seat on it with Embroidered Eagle on back rest. I have a lot more money in this bike then i know i will NOT get out of it what I have spent $8000.00 at least buying it and doing what I have done. But it is one of my toys lol. 1986 Honda Interstate , I am selling my '86 GL1200 after getting another goldwing. This goldwing has only 47,000 miles and has been in a garage most of it's life. There is no paint fading. Has a rear Dunlop that was put on this spring with about 1500 miles on the tire. Has a set of Bakers airwings to cool off the rider. Does have a volt meter to tell if the stator is working, and it does work. The carbs were cleaned and balanced, aftermarket fuel pump. Stock fuel pump still works, can be put back on if wanted. New timing belts last year, extra air filter, and comes with a bike cover. The bike has a aftermarket seat with a backrest, makes it ride like you are setting in a easy chair. Has the extra light bars and chrome in the back and fog lights on the front. The bike gets about 40 mpg. The bike runs and starts up and runs real good. I would keep the bike to ride, but had a chance to get a newer wing and that is the only real that I am selling the wing. Not interested in any trades. Asking $2450 OBO $2,450.00
