Bonneville stands for freedom, open roads, independence and some of the most stylish motorcycles ever made. Still looking, sounding and feeling like a proper motorcycle should, today’s Bonnie connects you to over 50 years of heritage but is built with everything that comes with modern engineering too. We’ve made sure that, to this day, a Bonneville retains all that's great about the name. You still get the breathtaking looks on a bike that is dependable enough for everyday use, easy and fun to ride. All at an entry level price. So you can still feel the same ride today as they did way back.StylingThe Look: It’s all there for you. The sweeping curved top of the fuel tank, authentic twin rear shocks, long reversed cone silencers, the chromed headlight bowl and yoke mounted instrument pod. Pure, classic Bonneville.Engine: The iconic, air-cooled parallel twin sits proudly at the heart of the Bonneville. Setting the style for the entire bike. The engine and transmission has been engineered with the look of the classic Triumph twins in mind. Even the fuel injection has been moulded so you get the appearance of a pair of carburettors and there are double overhead camshafts despite what looks like a pushrod tube at the front of the engine, just like Bonnevilles used to have.Wheels: Cast aluminium, just like the ones used on Bonnevilles in the 1970s.EnginePerformance: From day one Bonnevilles have been built to be ridden, not just to look good. Today, this 865cc parallel twin puts out a healthy 68PS with 68Nm of torque at its peak, with plenty available at low revs so you get most use out of it. The fuelling is controlled by a sophisticated management computer programmed for clean emissions and a smooth, predictable throttle response. So there’s enough performance to be fun for experienced riders but not so much that will intimidate riders with fewer miles behind them.Configuration: A pair of cylinders still stand upright and proud at the heart of the Bonneville. With a wide bore and short stroke that adds up to 865cc for high levels of efficiency and low wear, with four valves per cylinder for the best breathing and power. There are balance shafts tucked away inside the crankcase so you’ll notice very little vibration for a parallel twin and, being air cooled, there’s no radiator to spoil the view.ChassisFrame: All of our extensive chassis experience and technology has gone into the Bonneville’s simple tubular steel construction. Providing easy, neutral steering and exceptional balance even at low speeds.Handling: The chassis on a modern Bonneville is as good as the engine. In fact, the engine is part of the chassis. We’ve built a traditional style tubular steel cradle design and included the engine as an integral component for a stiffer, stronger chassis and more precise ride. Combining classic looks with modern engineering so that you get iconic Bonneville riding characteristics and modern handling.Brakes: Inspired by the 1970s Bonneville, we’ve given the modern one a single disc brake at the front for a strong, progressive feel and a second disc for the rear producing performance alongside plenty of stopping force whilst maintaining the overall balance of the chassis so every moment of your ride is confident and controlled.Wheels and Tires: The cast aluminium wheels on the modern Bonneville look just like the ones on the 1970s but are much lighter, as well as bigger at 17 inches. This gives you easy, fluent handling and a more agile, involving ride.Riding Position: The thing that makes the Bonneville a bike for riders new to big bikes as much as those into the classic style, is the riding position. The long flat seat suits riders of all heights and we’ve laid out the bars and footrests to create plenty of space so you won’t feel cramped even on a long ride out. We've even added a grab rail, so your passenger can enjoy the journey too. It’s all put together so that you feel natural and in firm, confident control around town, at speed on a motorway or feeling the thrill of your Bonneville along a sinuous back road.Seat Height: A seat height of just 740mm is the best way to get the classic, natural Bonneville riding position. So that’s the height we set it at.Suspension: Looking good whilst working hard isn’t easy. But the 1960s style twin shocks fitted at the back come with a chrome finish and modern damping internals. As do the traditional-looking forks. And that makes the ride of your Bonneville smooth and controlled, even on bumpy roads and cornering at speed.FeaturesPracticality: Behind the classic looks and iconic engine lies a practical and modern all-rounder. There's nothing temperamental or over-demanding about the engine either, making the Bonneville an ideal daily commuter – all be it an inspiring, stunning, timeless, iconic, famous, daily commuter.Technology: We’d never sacrifice what makes a Bonneville a Bonneville. So, although today’s bike is modern where it matters, it will always look, sound and feel like a Bonneville should. These days there’s electronic ignition and fuel injection for better reliability and low emissions yet a punchier, more responsive throttle. We added the wet-multiplate clutch to give you a progressive yet lighter lever action. And while the hydraulic disc brakes are powerful, they are never intimidating. What we did was combine our heritage with the latest motorcycle technology to give you the famous Bonneville ride every single day.Key AccessoriesTeardrop Style Mirror: Stylish, high gloss chrome mirror kit, featuring laser etched Triumph logo. Available with oval or teardrop shaped mirror heads with solid or drilled stems. The finishing touch for your Bonneville.Chrome Cam Cover: High gloss chrome plated cam cover with the same classic design as the standard fitted version.Quick Release Long Haul Screen: Quantum coated polycarbonate screen offers superb durability and scratch resistance. Features lockable quick Release mechanism, chrome mounting brackets and subtle Triumph branding.King and Queen Seat: Traditional King and Queen seat unit, offers superb comfort and button detailing.Warranty and ServiceOur confidence provides you with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty on your new Triumph and Genuine Accessories. Here's a very nice lightly used Bonneville up for sale. Second mature owner, first was a lady rider who put very few miles on the bike. I've put over 1,500 miles on this bike now and know of no issues. I keep it in a garage and it runs and rides as intended. Turnkey and ready to ride. Extras include passenger grab rail, gas tank knee pads, aftermarket exhaust (louder than stock, but now sounds like a Triumph). The exhaust is not too loud in my opinion. I have ridden this bike all day and wasn't too cramped with a 34" inseam. Good usable power with a low seat height make this a great all around bike, especially for shorter riders. Mileage may increase slightly. Bike is advertised locally so I may cancel at any time. Thanks for looking.

This offer limited to stock numbers shown. VIN number available upon request. Prices subject to change and exclude dealer set up, taxes, title, freight and licensing. 2016 Triumph Bonneville T100 Black If the easy-going style of the regular Bonneville T100 is a bit too tame for you, we’ve created the mean ‘n’ moody Bonneville T100 Black. From its custom shop-style, black-rimmed spoke wheels past its black-cased engine with machined fin highlights to its black bars and mirrors, this is a bike that makes a statement without really trying. Of course it’s still a Bonneville at heart, with a soulful, fuel injected 865cc parallel twin engine and sweet-sounding peashooter exhausts, a commanding riding position and more than enough power for both newbie riders and those with more miles under their wheels. Features May Include: Bodywork As you would expect from the bike’s name, the bodywork wears deep Jet Black paintwork. Engine Encased in black with machined highlights, our trademark air-cooled parallel twin lies at the heart of the T100 Black. Exhaust Hear it on the streets. Twin chrome exhaust pipes highlight the bike’s after-dark theme. Wheels Classic spoke wheels wearing black rims and hubs complement the look and give precise handling. Seat A classic “banana” seat, all in black of course, with a matching passenger grab rail. Performance The Bonneville T100 Black has muscle to match its mean looks, as its 865cc parallel twin engine puts out a healthy 68PS. It also gives 68Nm of torque at its peak, with plenty available at low revs so it’s really user-friendly and more than punchy enough, both around town and on the open road. Clever electronic fuel injection means this engine pulls smoothly throughout the rev range, so you’ll always have something in reserve. Configuration It wouldn’t be a Bonneville without a parallel-twin cylinder engine and this one’s a beauty. Its 865cc capacity makes it more powerful than Bonnevilles of old, but modern technology mean great versatility and economy too, while balance shafts leave just enough vibration to remind you that you are riding an all-time great. Of course it’s air-cooled, meaning there’s no radiator to block the view of this engineering icon. Frame Great handling and a relaxing ride have always been Bonneville traits. Years of getting the basics right mean that we make bikes that are reassuringly easy to ride. Suspension We wouldn’t want a bumpy road to spoil your ride, so we fit traditional, black-sprung twin shocks at the back that combine iconic style with modern performance, while up front, black, gaitered telescopic forks keep things well controlled. Brakes We’ve matched the front and rear disc brakes to give a progressive, balanced braking performance that suits the Bonneville Black’s power and weight, giving the rider confidence and control. Practicality This is no temperamental custom special. Behind the mean looks lies proven Triumph engineering that will deliver day in, day out. And, if you can stand all the attention you’ll get on your ride to work, the Bonneville Black makes a great commuter too. Technology There’s no point in having the coolest bike in town if you can’t rely on it. The Bonneville Black features electronic ignition and fuel injection that give better reliability and low emissions as well as a punchier, more responsive throttle. The wet multi-plate clutch is light to operate and makes gearchanging a pleasure, while the hydraulic disc brakes are powerful, but never intimidating. Instrument Speed, engine revs and warning lights. The important information for every ride sits right in your line of sight, meaning it only takes a glance to know what’s going on. *Price does not include Freight & Assembly, Documentation Fee, Sales Tax, License? Beautiful original paint Thruxton in near showroom condition. 2004 first year production. Never dropped or abused, always garaged, senior owner. No issues mechanically or cosmetically. No dents or scratches. Bike is ready to ride anywhere. Includes the following options; Gel seat $200+, passenger grab rail $200+, centerstand $200+, touring handlebar kit $400, SE model handlebars with bar end weights $150+ this handlebar set-up is super comfortable, no backache and no sore wrists. Original clip-on yoke and bars are included if you want to convert back to those. Also has a new Yuasa USA Gel sealed battery $100. This Thruxton was made in England on Jasper Road, hence the 11th digit is J in the serial number. They have been made in Thailand (11th digit is T in the serial number) since 2007. This bike has carbs not fuel injection so there is no fuel pump in the gas tank and no computer. Triumph reshaped the gas tank to accommodate the fuel pump when they went to fuel injection and those newer bikes just plain don't look right. You sure won't get anything like this bike in the future. No disappointment
