I bought this very, very nice bike on September 29 for $1300, and on my "maiden voyage" took a spill -- and broke my collarbone! Since my shoulder and head (wearing a helmet, thankfully) took the brunt of the impact, except for some minor gravel scratch on the engine the bike emerged otherwise unscathed. But now I have no choice to look at it for the next 2-3 months while my injury heals. I'd rather have someone enjoy it while the weather is still decent. The bike is in excellent shape -- seat is flawless, brakes are great, and and the parallel twin runs like a charm. There is a some surface rust on the exhaust pipes from the engine (but no holes) and the center stand (which still works flawlessly). At just under 14,500 miles there should be a whole lot of life yet in this puppy. I just installed a brand new battery. I also have a new chain that still in its box. Both items were purchased from American Motor Sports in Nashville (the local Suzuki dealer). It's got clean and clear Tennessee Title. Like I said I bought it for $1300, but hauled it up from Brentwood to Nashville ($80), taxed and titled it ($160), insured it ($75) -- and of course had to sit in the emergency room for 5 hours ($125). So all told I have over $1700 into it, and haven't ridden it more than several blocks. So not to be a hardliner or anything, but $1200 is kinbd of my bottom line -- I'd rather not entertain offers of anything less. If I can't get $1200 -- and this is a LOT of bike for that money -- I am inclined to let it sit for a few months while I heal. Then again, money talks...Thanks!

Travel in big style. That means combining dynamic performance and comfort - and transforming distance into free space. BMW Motorrad's vision was the essence of this philosophy - the pure sense of Gran Turismo. This vision has now taken shape in the new K 1600 GT. The in-line six-cylinder engines by BMW are legendary. A myth which has been realized once more in the K 1600 GT - but now more compactly than ever before. 1 649 cc 160 horsepower and a maximum torque of 129 foot pounds. Even the facts are impressive. But the riding experience is even more inspiring. The transversely installed power units delivers an extraordinary level of dynamic performance as well as refined running smoothness. If the rider is in the mood for a show of sporty prowess the engine willingly puts in a burst of speed even in the lower engine speed range and it is in its element over high-speed stretches. Over 70% of the maximum torque is available from just 1 500 rpm. While the bike's power reserves are huge its dimensions are reduced. Weighing just under 703 pounds and with a width of 39.4 inches - never was a large-volume in-line six-cylinder so compact. For outstanding handling and increased banking freedom. And a whole new touring bike feel. For better visibility going into bends the GT presents a world premiere for motorcycles: the optionally available adaptive headlight. It not only increases the exclusivity but also the active safety of the machine. Vision fulfilled. The K 1600 GT. UNSTOPPABLE TOUR. 2016 BMW S 1000 R Premium Light White, Very low miles and perfect condition. BMW warranty good through 4/28/19. 2016 BMW S 1000 R Premium Light White Conquer the roads - on the BMW S 1000 R. A roadster, reduced to the essentials: maximum performance. 160 bhp, 83 lb/ft torque and a power-to-weight ratio of 2.85 pounds per bhp - and the competition disappears in the rear mirror. Linear power: the engine. The high-performance 4-cylinder in-line engine derives from the RR but has now been further optimized. The result: extremely linear torque delivery for constant forward drive across the entire engine rev range. The engine of the S 1000 R has an output of 160 bhp/118 kW at 11,000 rpm, while a maximum of 83 lb/ft torque at 9,250 rpm puts a smile on the rider's face at every twist of the throttle. Ready for attack: the design. The lines of the S 1000 R are striking at first sight, too: aggressive tail-up/nose-down design, distinctive split face and the characteristic gills. The "R" shows much less of its sharp-edged, muscular skin. Some people call it naked - we just call it focused on the essentials. Versatile: the riding modes. The S 1000 R can be reined in and unleashed at the press of a button as standard. The "Rain" mode provides a gentle throttle response, with ABS and ASC adapted to wet road surfaces. Meanwhile "Road" optimizes throttle response, ABS and ASC for dry asphalt. The Pro modes are available as an optional extra for those chasing the threshold range: "Dynamic" and "Dynamic Pro" get the "R" into shape for the limits. Full control: Race ABS and ASC as standard. Power is nothing without control. The S 1000 R is fitted with Race ABS and ASC (automatic stability control) as standard. This duo ensures excellent acceleration and deceleration figures at threshold level. They can be activated and deactivated during travel, making for uninterrupted riding fun. No compromises: the individualization options. The "Standard" package adds Ride Modes Pro (Rain, Road + Dynamic, Dynamic Pro), gear shift assist, DTC (dynamic traction control) and cruise control. The "Premium" package includes all equipment in the "Standard" package plus DDC (dynamic damping control semi-active suspension), heated grips and engine spoiler. There will also be an extensive range of HP parts for the S 1000 R aimed at ambitious riders. Features may include: Gear Shift Assistant Evolved from motorcycle racing technology, Gear Shift Assist enables up-shifting at almost any rpm without using the clutch or having to close the throttle. The twist grip remains open during acceleration and the time taken to shift gear is reduced to a minimum. DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) The BMW DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) system continuously monitors rear wheel traction under acceler

This is a nice unrestored R100GSPD. She has lots of vintage eh..., "character" (looks used but not abused). It has been serviced through MAX since 2012 and well cared for. We have just put brand new TKC80 tires on it and it has an upgraded Fox shock and front suspension. The engine passed both leak down (2%) and compression tests (150/160psi) with flying colors and it runs nice and strong. The speedometer/odometer has been repaired and reflects the correct mileage on the bike now. These bikes are getting harder and harder to find and there competence and simplicity still make them a good choice as an everyday rider. This bike should keep you smiling for years to come.

2010 BMW K 1300 GT, CLEAN K1300 GT PRICED TO MOVE! Time machine - the latest news. The BMW K 1300 GT. Gran Tourismo - or in the case of the BMW K 1300 GT quite simply one of the fastest movers around. It opens up a new era in the timing of long distances. Nonetheless: impressive though the average travel times may be on this machine, its performance is also fascinating at low speeds, for example after a hairpin bend. This is because at engine speeds you operate in more than 80 percent of the time on the road i.e. the lower and middle ranges this engine adds something you can feel instantly: 99 pounds force foot from 1,293 cubic centimeters. No ifs or buts. And 160 horsepower for the three-lane motorway. The fact that this in-line 4-cylinder is very low-key when it comes to fuel consumption and exhaust emissions makes fast travel even more pleasing. And it also demonstrates once again how modern engines ought to be built. The success formula GT is the sum of many intelligent details: top ergonomics - both at front and rear, exemplary aerodynamics and weather protection, safety (ABS as standard, ASC as an option) which sets standards and a level of comfort which enables relaxed, supreme travel. Then there is a high-precision chassis with a low centre of gravity, as well as optional ESA II to adapt the chassis mode at the press of a button. So here s a tip: Save yourself the effort of looking for an alternative. Get into gear right away. The BMW K 1300 GT: Dynamic performance has never been more stylish.
