I drove this bike all summer and its time to move on to the next owner. I built it form a gs750l model. lets start with the new parts. new speedometer that needs to be calibrated (i can specify upon sale) it has a new 630 o ring clip style chain, ballistic evo lithium ion battery,emgo cafe racer shocks,clip on bars,bar end mirrors ,high volume horn, new points and condensers ,new tubes and dunlop d404 tires last year,it has a new mac exhaust k&n open filters and was tuned using an AEM wideband and pyrometer to equalize exhaust temp for proper mixture between carbs.this bike runs great. The custom touches include anodized accents and reflective decals custom bodywork paint carbon wrap treatments ,custom signals and tail lamp. frame has been de tabbed and painted ,relocated ignition. wrinkle finished covers and stainless hardware. it has a custom stitched seat, it really is a nice looking bike. entire look of the bike has been changed. the not so good stuff it has some small specs caught in the paint (can be wet sanded and polished) two dents in the front fender the front anodized master cylinder in some of the pictures has been replaced with the stock unit as it has started leaking. the kick start lever was removed because frankly it was ugly and it never worked. the turn signals will stay on steady after flashing a short while may need new type of flasher unit. the bike ran great all summer but now the clutch slips now as the weather is cold and it has summer oil in it. copy and paste to your browser to see the bike running. video of running bike https://youtu.be/1lVPediDGWI

This is the limited edition 'L' model w/ many upgrades over 'E' model including mew 'tscc' 16 valve engine. Only add ons were 1980 K&N sissy bar and front foot pegs. All kinds of paperwork, manuals, documentation, warranties, even magazine articles. A few scratches, a l;ittle paint flaking on satin black brake reservoir, calipers and handlebar mounts (very easy touchup). Missing section of stripe on tank (have factory replacements). Up for sale is my ready to ride 1979 Suzuki GS750L. I am asking $2500 or willing to trade sportster . It has an in line 4 cylinder 750 engine that is running great and is a blast on the street. Dual disk brakes up front give this bike a huge stopping advantage over many classic / vintage bikes! There are several upgrades listed below. I am only selling because I work more with Harley Davisdon bikes and I want a harley that I can use at work. Low milage (21,900) because previous owner didn't ride it much, and I have a short commute to work 1-2 times a week on the bike. Here are some of the upgrades that have been done to the bike. - New Progressive Suspension fork springs and rear shock with adjustable preload. - Like new tires with only a couple hundred miles on them - Chain replaced about a year ago with only a couple hundred miles on it. - Rebuilt carbs tuned by local certified Suzuki mechanic - New LED rear run/brake lights and mini turn signals - 2up Burly Brand Brat seat from an early sportster model, fabricated custom mount for this bike. - High output Spot LED auxiliary lighting ( they really light up the road and mike you very visible at night! ) - Mini Side cover bags, both sides ( holds and organizes tool kit, paper work, and misc small items SEE PIC ) I have several extra parts, rear fender, headlight, original side covers, and a few other misc parts. Here is a vey nice example of a unrestored original daily rider, I have enjoyed riding this motorcycle almost on a daily basis and it performs excellent with the TSCC 1100cc engine that is a RARE find in a "L" model machine was only made two years, there are plenty of "E" models out there as they sold a ton of those. I had resurrected this one 3 yrs ago with many new and NOS parts it has a NOS tank and side covers( in the 750 red color for you Suzuki experts but this is an 1100 as per vin code, I have not found the emblems yet for the sidecovers) anyway it got new tires, a complete DYNA ignition system coils and module, plus 7mm wires and caps. Recently got a new 530 chain and sprocket conversion just 200 miles ago or so. The speedometer has been replaced at 12k with a new one that I found that reads 120 mph better than the 85mph the stock one was limited to, so now you know when your well over 100mph. So total mileage is closer to 20k. It has a Lockhart oil cooler, and a 3 year old Vance & Hines header that allows the use of the center stand and easy oil changes (wow was that hard to find new) It has a new seat cover over very good foam base. I have rode & maintained well the last 3 years and am sure to leave out things I have bought for it. This is my all time favorite old bike to ride as it has great horsepower and torque with really good triple disc stopping power. I moved to Florida 2 years ago so this bike has not spent it's whole life here by any means, and it has been always garaged as well. And of course all lighting, horn, handlebar switches, locks and equipment work as they should.
