1980 SUZUKI GS 450EX MOTORCYCLE Condition: The pictures show the condition of the motorcycle and is in great running order. Any interested parties are welcome to inspect the motorcycle. The following parts were just purchased and installed on the motorcycle to ensure rider safety and proper mechanical condition.New Front and Rear Tires and inner tubes installed by a Suzuki dealer.New Drive ChainNew Front and Rear BrakesNew Starter switchNew BatteryNew Seat CoverNew Handle Bar GripsNew Paint - the fuel tank, side covers, and rear storage compartment were all just painted. The servicing also included new spark plugs, air filter, oil, and oil filter.Note that the speedometer/odometer was also just replaced because it recently stopped working, and the picture of the speedometer/odometer in this listing shows the actual mileage on the motorcycle (8444 miles). This gauge was replaced with another identical used gauge which shows approximately 3600 miles, but the actual mileage is as shown in the picture. Additionally, all parts purchased and installed were Suzuki OEM parts (not aftermarket). Note also that the motorcycle is complete stock with no modifications. My son bought this bike from a friend, and after completing all the service and part installation decided that he wanted an ATV instead (reason for selling). This is a great beginner bike for someone getting into motorcycle riding. Please contact me with any questions and I will reply as soon as possible. The motorcycle has a clear Illinois title. Note that I also am listing locally, so I may end the listing early if sold locally.

This bike started life as a 1978 GS 750. Now it is a cafe racer, custom work done to the tank, exhaust, carb, and intakes... not to mention of course cosmetics and other work. I just put in a new battery, and the tires are fairly new good. I don't driver her daily but I don't see why you couldn't. She is a real head turner... and is quick. If you want to add to your collection, attract attention, or just have a piece of artwork for the garage this is your bike.

Suzuki GS450 Custom Café RacerThank you, for checking out our 1981 Suzuki GS450 Café Racer Build. We have recently completed this build and are hoping to find the next care-taker. She fires right up as soon as you it the starter button, runs beautifully, charges nicely, goes through all 6 gears with no issues and no engine smoke (compression: 165psi left cylinder, 163psi right cylinder - see photos). She is a super reliable bike, great gas mileage, a great daily commuter and definitely a head turner. Check our website (address below) for more information and photos on this bike including several before/during/after shots along with a couple videos so you can hear her running and going down the road. Please contact us if you want a list of everything we did to her!More photos are available on our website (the below videos can also been seen on the website): http://www.barebonerides.com/bbr-bikes.html … just scroll down to this bike under “Café Racers” https://youtu.be/recLiRH02RE walk-around/sound video https://youtu.be/zhZxC1LQ1Ew quick video of her taking off and going down the road (1 of 3) http://youtu.be/dF4_DYvz4Qo quick video of her going through the gears (2 of 3) http://youtu.be/2rI9PMmEf5U quick video of her getting it done (3 of 3) She is a 100% turn-key bike, fire her up, warm her up then get on her and go! She is pretty fast for a 450 twin from the 80’s – we did pull a lot of weight off of her, which helped with her overall performance/improved acceleration! We wanted to pay a homage to the vintage Suzuki road-race bikes thus the vintage color scheme and styling! She is a head-turner for sure, folks really love the look of this bike. She is truly a very nice ride and would look right at home in anyone’s collection - we put about 100 worry free miles on her since completion! If you happen to be near us, feel free to stop by the shop and meet her in person! (Notes: 1) The color matched quarter fairing comes with the bike - we pulled it off for some of the photos so folks can see how she looks without it, 2) She is for sale locally therefore we must reserve the right to stop the auction if she happens to sell locally).Check out our shop and our perspective on custom rides/builds at www.barebonerides.com ... you can see more photos of this bike on the website. Our builds have been shipped throughout the US and to several countries around the world. Several of our customers have come back to us for multiple builds! We like to build simple/clean bikes that should be ridden – they are not museum pieces; however, many of our bikes have taken trophies at local bike shows! We run non-ethanol fuel in our bikes and we highly recommend to all of our friends/customers that they do the same, ESPECIALLY for those older machines that are carbureted! We have gone over the bike thoroughly and she is ready to go … normal maintenance will be required (as is the case for ALL machines, both new and old). Please contact us prior to bidding if you have less than 10 positive feedback scores or a questionable feedback score/rating.PAYMENT: A $500.00 DEPOSIT via Paypal, certified bank check or cash is due within a couple days of winning the auction (see "Payment" tab for payment terms/requirements) – contact us through our website for our mailing address.SHIPPING: Please note that the buyer will be responsible for ALL shipping requirements/responsibilities from our shop in Merritt Island, Florida (zip code 32952). We will gladly help coordinate pick-up at our shop with the Buyer’s shipper.

A beautifully restored 1981 Suzuki GS850G This bike has been fully disassembled, and cleaned. The frame and engine were freshly painted, and the engine case covers, wheels, and shaft unit polished to their original shine. Carburetors were professionally cleaned with an Ultrasonic tank, rebuilt, and synced perfectly. New genuine Suzuki o-rings and gaskets were used where needed. New Shinko 712 tires mounted front and rear. Fresh oil, with genuine Suzuki filter and cover o-ring. Forks serviced with new seals and 10wt Motul fork oil. New AGM battery. New brake pads front and rear. Much more was done, but theres really too much to list. If you're looking for an all original classic...Look no further. This bike not only turns heads everywhere it goes, but is also as reliable as it gets. These bikes were built with great pride and joy by Suzuki. They feature Chromoly steel frames, Fully jeweled roller-bearing crankshaft and 8 valve, dual overhead cam cylinder head. These bikes were built to last. So bid with confidence that you'll be getting a ready to ride classic. I have put nearly 100 hours into the restoration of this bike, and while I don't expect to get back my labor, I would like to at least break even. This is a turn-key, ready to ride classic bike. All it needs is a rider and a destination. On May-20-15 at 15:52:18 PDT, seller added the following information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxUSIRSj2ec

This is a 1981 Suzuki GS 450-E in overall very nice condition. It has a new battery, new rear tire, new air filter and was repainted by Brian Fedigan from MXrestoration.com using a slightly more metallic looking paint and all new reproduction graphics. It starts easily and runs & shifts fine fine with no issues. All lighting and instrumentation are fully functional, brakes are also in good working order. It needs 2 things: fork seals and the seat has a couple small splits in the cover that can be seen in the photographs. The pipes are not perfect, there is a slight amount of discoloration and pitting but still look very nice. Chain and sprockets have more than 50% left on them. Overall, while not a showroom condition bike or a museum piece this GS450E is a real eye catcher. I can also say it is a blast to ride around town and gets great fuel mileage. The GS450-L & T seem to be all over the place BUT the 450E has become somewhat rare. You just don't see them much anymore. This would be a great starter bike, daily commuter, or cafe project. Also, the GS 500 top end bolts right on and gives an instantaneous Horse Power boost!! These pictures were taken at 4pm and the sun was already starting to go down. The pictures just DO NOT show how beautiful it really is. I will try to get better picture tomorrow 1/28/17. This is a buy it now or best offer sale. It is set to automatically decline offers under 1000.00. This is to eliminate NON serious buyers. You are welcome to contact me at any time It is located in Baldwinsville, NY ( 13027 ) and pick up or shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you would like to check it out in person, let me know and it can easily be arranged. The white specs in some of the pictures are snow flakes If you have a Feed Back score of less than 5 contact me before you bid or your bid WILL BE CANCELED I am happy to answer all questions that you may have!If you need a shipper, I can recommend a few that are fully insured and VERY reasonable & reliable NOTE: A $500.00 deposit is REQUIRED within 24 hours NO EXCEPTIONS I have been asked by several eBayers to do a compression check. So I have done that and here are the results. ( done with engine cold, dry NO OIL ) Right Hand side ( brake pedal side ) 140 psi Left Hand side ( shift lever side ) 138 psi

This is a 1983 Suzuki GS850G with a low 8745 miles. This bike is in VERY GOOD cosmetic and mechanical condition. I doubt you will find a nicer one anywhere. The bike starts right up, has a smooth idle and shifts smoothly through the gears. The bike runs, drives and shifts like it should. The clutch engagement is smooth. It sounds nice and tight and it has no mechanical issues at all. All of the lights, signals, horn and instruments work, as does the gear position indicator and fuel gauge. The brakes work well and the tires have plenty of tread. No leaks and no drips whatsoever. The paint is original and looks good from every angle or distance. The inside of the tank is as clean and rust free as the day it was made. The exhaust is very nice with no scrapes, scratches or road rash. The seat has no rips, the tool kit is in place and it has its original owner’s manual. The battery is a one year old sealed AGM battery. The oil, filter and brake fluid are fresh and the bike is ready to ride. It needs nothing. I have the original mirrors for the bike. They weren’t on it when I took most of the photos but can be seen in the last two. I have actually owned this bike twice, having bought the bike back from a collector who just kept it in heated storage. It is a VERY NICE GS 850! The bike has a clear, signed, open title in the previous owner’s name. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I will assist however I can.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I can transport this bike to any New Jersey area shipper or logistics facility for $250 USD.

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For sale is a 1978 Suzuki GS750EC. This model is considered by many to be the best of the UJM bikes. Their handling far surpassed their rivals, and the engines are powerful and bulletproof, modelled very closely after Kawasaki's Z-engines, with several interchangeable parts. This is a very usable bike, even today. In fact, I ride it regularly, including on So. Cal Freeways, where it has given me no problems in traffic. The previous owner restored this bike in what he stated was a “frame off restoration”. The bike runs exceptionally well. The following work was done: Frame and bodywork repainted.Carburetors sent for specialist rebuilding with all new parts and tuned perfectly.New brake lines and pads, discs turned and vented.New chain.New seat.New lithium battery and charger.New tires.New speedometer and tachometer cables.New clutch cable.NOS gear-position display (the gear indicator works properly; often these are a problem). Only problem that I know of is that the speedometer needle vibrates at high speed, above about 85 mph. Classic-japanese-bikes.com ( http://www.classic-japanese-bikes.com/Seen-on-the-street.html ) wrote this about this model: “Just try to find a Suzuki GS in decent shape these days that anyone wants to sell! They've become few and far between on the market and for good all-round reason. “If you can get your hands on a good runner, buy it! Then you can go to town modding it or go after the Holy Grail of box-stock perfection. “A very sweet classic Japanese bike indeed!” Specifications GS 750 E 1978 Overall Length: 2 225 mm (87.6 in) Overall Width: 870 mm.
