2003 Suzuki Gsx-R 1000, This GSX-R1000 is barely used at only 3,200 original miles. The title is free and clear. You will find Custom Carbon Fiber upgrades throughout - including the gas tank and instrument panel applications. Additionally, a HI-Def blue SPORTECH custom windshield, custom painted Euro-tail, front and back flush mount turn signals, a YOSHIMURA pipe and much-much more provide a combat ready custom ride like no other! Suzuki has improved this 2003 in three areas: It weigh less, has even more power/torque and even better handling. This GSXR 1000 has more power and torque and better throttle response has been achieved by adding four ventilation holes between the cylinders to equalize crankcase pressure beneath the pistons, moving the air intake nearer to the centerline and upgrading the engine management system to a 32-bit CPU that monitors and controls the engine functions, input from the rider and the exhaust tuning valve. The front brakes are the new radially-mounted four-piston calipers weigh 30 g less and grip smaller 300 mm discs that save another 300 g weight. They provide better stopping and turn-in performance. The frame as well as the wheels was now coated black. The headlights of the 2003 year's GSX-R1000 are mounted vertically to enable the ram-air intakes in the front to be placed 20 mm nearer the bike's center line. The new design and customized work make this GSX-R1000 look aggressive and run fast. Also, the exhaust system is now entirely made of titanium. But with the addition of the YOSHIMURA pipe, you can feel and hear much more power. To save additional weight and cut down on wind resistance and the tail light and turn signals are replaced with flush mounted LED type lights to give a more custom / hi-tech look. This GSXR 1000 has more power and torque and better throttle response has been achieved by adding four ventilation holes between the cylinders to equalize crankcase pressure beneath the pistons, moving the air intake nearer to the centerline and upgrading the engine management system to a 32-bit CPU that monitors and controls the engine functions, input from the rider and the exhaust tuning valve. The front brakes are the new radially-mounted four-piston calipers weigh 30 g less and grip smaller 300 mm discs that save another 300 g weight. They provide better stopping and turn-in performance. The frame as well as the wheels was now coated black. The headlights of the 2003 year's GSX-R1000 are mounted vertically to enable the ram-air intakes in the front to be placed 20 mm nearer the bike's center line. The new design and customized work make this GSX-R1000 look aggressive and run fast. Also, the exhaust system is now entirely made of titanium. There are alot more extras this bike has!! I just changed the oil and it has a good set of Dunlop Q3 tires on with plenty of life left. I also have some spare tires I can throw in. If you're a beginner I may have some gear to throw in as well including riding pants, gloves, helmet, boots. Looking at these pictures is making me sad because I love this bike so much... just time to move on to something bigger. This is a great bike to learn on or a great bike to downsize to for commuting, day to day stuff, or long distance sport touring.There is some light cosmetic wear. Faint scratches here and there that you would expect on a bike that's been used for a couple years. While coasting through traffic last year a car opened their passenger door. It put a gash into the left frame slider and tipped me over into the car next to me. Thank God I had installed that slider because my leg would have been demolished without it! Not much to look at in the way of damage except a small pencil eraser sized chip in tank paint on the left side and some light scuffing elsewhere.I have the title and am ready to sell.
