The VIN will come back to an 883cc but it does have 1200 jugs, and once ridden easy to tell its a 1200cc. I don't have the documentation to prove its a 1200, other than just ride the bike. Other than that the bike rides great, looks great, and gets on down the road. Just need something that my back likes better. I purchased this motorcycle in 2008 from a custom motorcycle builder out of Chico Ca. He had sustained a life altering injury rendering him incapable of completing this project. Here is the original item description: A 1975 Harley Davidson custom motorcycle. The frame on this bike is a rare and genuine 1975 Harley Davidson FX Hardtail. The hardtail was custom fabricated by AMF Harley Davidson in 1975 back when the offered such custom feature. It sports a custom tribal wide glide front end. Chrome billet triple trees with a .38 degree rake. Brand new 2007 Harley heritage classic spoke wheels with new classic whitewall tires; diamond glass headlight - super bright. custom solo seat. Has a ratchet top transmission, suicide clutch hand shift: The frame numbers have been run by the California Highway patrol - however no title accompanies this bike. It will be registered as a 1975 Harley Davidson FX. I have the bill of sale when I purchased this bike and I will provide a bill of sale to the new owner for purposes of registration. It started out as a backyard build with an acquaintance of mine and finished by way of two So. Cal. local bike shops.
