As you can see there are several West Coast Chopper parts on the bike which include fenders, pipes, air cleaner and risers. These parts alone could sell for thousands. Bike is lowered 3 inches, with 3 inch extensions on foot controls. Chrome kit was added to the engine. Tires and brakes have less the 100 miles on them. Very minor scratches to the paint and a paint crack in the tank that HD buffed out one time but it came back, long story. Bike has always been covered, garaged and started regularly. Up for sale is a 2005 Fuel injected Harley Davidson FXSTI I took on trade. Has an otherwise clean Illinois title labelled "rebuilt" due to a previous owner dropping the bike and bending the handlebar into the tank. Has new fuel tank, air cleaner cover, handlebar, and throttle control, and was inspected and certified by the state of Wisconsin to be road worthy. There is no problem getting insurance and plates on the bike (I have State Farm, its insured right now). Has less then 26,000 miles on it (I have been riding it when its warm out, I think the last time I parked it was 25,535 miles) Custom paint looks 5 miles deep with a glossy shine. Starts, runs, stop, drives down the road perfectly. Has factory pipes with removed baffles. Has leather saddlebags not shown in pictures which 1 has a torn strap that needs to be sewn for it to be used. Comes with 2 windscreens as well, 1 that mounts onto existing mounts, 1 "flip away" windscreen that doesn't have the mount for it to be used. Up for auction is a 2005 Softail Standard FXSTI Fuel Injected 5speed Custom Bobber 1450cc/88cuin. Mileage is 25,671. Bike is in great running condition with no drivetrain or motor issues. The rear fender struts have been chopped and the fender has been mounted directly to the swing arm. A custom springer seat has also been added to the bike. Bike is street ready and was just taken on a weeklong 2,000 mile trip at the start of August 2015. A few finishing touches are needed on the bike, the rear fender is only rattle can painted and needs to be professionally painted if that is what the new owner is looking to do. The rear fender may also need a few minor adjustments after a new tire is installed as the fender currently rides very close to the rear tire. The front fender and gas tank are professionally painted but may need to be buffed to take out minor scratches and swirl marks on the clear coat. The only other issue with the bike is that the risers need to either be replaced or cleaned up and powder coated, other than the finish issue, the risers are in perfect working condition. The sissy bar may also need re powder coated due to rubbing from bungee cords. This bike is very fun to ride and own and will definitely turn heads! Easy freeway cruising!Nice Stainless Steel sissy bar I made myself -the chain on the sissy bar is Stainless Steel also & is TIG welded to the sissy bar -great for securing a bag or whatever to the bike. -the lock is not included.Low profile Le Pera 60's style cobra seat -which has always been good enough for me. I also have a nice Corbin Gentry 'Long Haul' super-comfy touring seat which I only used once. It is 100% more comfy than the factory seat.Paughco 'old-skool' 60's style up-swept exhaust pipes/mufflers. Sounds great too!New premium high-performance Michelin tires -the front tire was just mounted/balanced (still has the nubbies on it), the rear tire hasn't been installed yet since the existing Dunlap is still OK. Like I said, I'm not into burn-outs.Temperature controlled oil cooler, really nice working/looking setup! It works great for the Vegas warm summer nights. I've been told it'd be good for the hot days too. Wired with an universal connector/jack for a battery tender.Arlen Ness adjustable rear lowering shock mounts, it's lowered maybe about 1" right now? -maybe less, I lost track of the measurements I took. I believe it can lower down another 1" or more. I've had this bike since it was new.
