Here you have, what I call a "Reform School Cool" bobber, it's been reformed from a 1948EL first year Pan head, to a FLH by using a Shovelhead top end. This is what they did back in the day for extra ponies. This scoot has matching belly numbers and a clean un-altered VIN#, see last three pictures, very hard to find these days. New tires, 90% new wiring and new battery with an S&S Super-B Carb., and charging system works fine. Runs strong, but this ride is for an experienced rider, as it is a suicide shift foot clutch with no front brake . This can be easily transformed back to hand clutch and foot shift if so desired. Also the front wheel already has a disc. mounted, all you need is the master cylinder and caliper. This is titled as a "Harley-Davidson" not a special construction or salvage. This scooter is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed, written or implied. Up for sale is my 1949 Harley Davidson Panhead EL. The bike and Sidecar have been completely restored with many correct OEM and NOS parts. The color is also correct, "Congo Green" , (please note scratch in rear fender, it may buff out). The VIN numbers are nice and clear however the belly numbers on the engine are 52. I have a clear KY title in my name. The 47LE sidecar was a complete original, not put together from pieces. Not shown is a new floor mat and spare tire cover. The bike starts easily and runs great.
