With only 3,200 miles on this bike it is barely broken in. I have added Vance and Hines pipes, a stage 1 air intake with with tuned for the engine, and a LED headlight. All add ons were done at an official Harley Davidson dealer. Bike is in great shape and ready to go. Willing to trailer it to your location for a fee depending how far it is away, but won't trailer it any more than 8 hours away from Buffalo, NY. You will have to find a company to ship it or else come get it.Finally I am willing to entertain a reasonable price for the bike but not looking to just give it away. Any questions feel free to ask. Editor-in-Chief David Edwards reminded me that he recently announced on cycleworld.com that choppers are dead. Long live the chopper.I’m not sure what he meant by that. Maybe it’s getting to the day when everyone has a chopper, sort of how you can’t be avant garde forever because the dynamics of change don’t allow it. Cool evolves. What’s next?Harley-Davidson’s new 2008 Softail FXCW and FXCWC Rockers are brand-new production bikes that don’t need to be chopped. They’re ready-made, off-the-rack choppers. Corporate cool. And Harley has taken them all the way with a 240mm tire rolling out back under a slammed fender.Let’s get to the point. Many enthusiasts, and builders, have come to admit that big-tired bikes with 240 or wider rear rubber handle like trucks. Like old trucks. They look cool but they don’t turn. The pain of high fashion. So why did Harley-Davidson join this club?They didn’t.Had I not glanced at the tire before riding the new Softail Rocker I would have thought it was a 180. Sure, in extreme low-speed U-turns the bike does want to turn in on itself, but that’s the result of raked-out forks. Once the bike is rolling—at any speed that qualifies as motorcycling—the Rocker friggin’ rocks. Steering is light, easy and predictable with no funny glitches on turn-in, mid-corner or even when railing through fast sweepers. The bike is planted, secure.Adding to this surprising strangeness of proper handling is that the fat rear tire trails a skinny 90mm-wide 19-inch front tire. How that little thing convinces the rear to follow it is the magic of balanced geometry. Harley has proven, contrary to most others, that a 240 bikecanbe light-steering.The Rocker has the look of a hardtail, taken further than any previous Softail because of the slammed rear fender down as low as H-D could go and still allow fitment of any brand rubber. The rear fender is mounted to the swingarm so it moves with the tire.The regular Rocker has a solo seat while the Rocker C has a hidden “get lucky” passenger pad that quickly folds out from under the solo cushion, providing the best of both worlds: lonesome warrior, successful shopper.Other differences between the Rocker and Rocker C? The former has a satin powercoated finish on mechanical parts while those same parts on the C are chromed. It should be mentioned that the “Trick” two-in-one seat is available as an option on the non-C, for those wanting its low-luster looks but feeling highly attractive to the opposite sex.It’s a chopper, so footpegs are only available as front-mount controls. With its radically low seat height, the bike fits long people best, though the handlebars do offer adjustability. Maybe the coolest visual detail of the entire Rocker is that it has no taillight—the blinkers do triple duty, acting also as the taillights and brake lights.Rockers will be available in early fall. 2008 Harley Davidson Softail Rocker C (FXCWC). This bike has many custom upgrades and you will not see another like it on the road. Vance and Hines Big Radius exhaust, Screamin’ Eagle air cleaner, Dynojet programmer, Carlini Clean Sweep drag bars, Kuryakyn flush mounted gas cap and LED battery indicator/fuel gauge, Kuryakyn vertical swing arm license plate mount with brake light. This bike has LOTS of chrome! Chrome flame front/rear pegs, shifter and rear brake. Chorme Swing Arm inserts. Everything on the handle bars is chrome – brake, clutch, master cylinder. Braided cables on front brake and clutch. Front turn signals have been moved to the forks for a cleaner appearance. Headlight has a visor to add appeal. The rear fender has been chopped to show off the fat 240mm rear tire. The rear turn signals have been removed. There is a red LED light strip under the fender that acts as a run/brake light. This one also has Custom seat and Factory seat, 2 Keys and remotes, Highway pegs, Screamin Eagle Air Intake, Lots of Chrome and Extras. This bike drove out great with good power and good sounding pipes but not to loud and smooth shifting gears and transmission. I highly recommend this one for a bike. This one is good to go no damage found. I am the second owner of this beautiful ride, and really hate to part with it. We are moving out of state and have six vehicles to move, so I have to part with a few things. This bike has always been garaged kept, and never ridden in the rain since I have owned it. It has around $3000 of added chrome accessories which truly make it more desirable than from the factory. To name a few of the additions are the Vanes & Hines Pipes, Performance Air Intake, Custom mirrors, LED gas cap assembly, pegs, etc. The license plate holder was moved to the side to give it that real chopper look. All in all the bike looks, sounds and runs great. Currently there are only 3,952 miles on the odometer with no scratches or flaws.
