Electric starter fitted, supplied by HD specialist “The Liberator” Tank cleaned and oil tank removed and reconditioned, new gas valve fitted. Fittings and finish is excellent!

Selling my 1942 type 3 WLA. I have put a little over 1300 miles on the bike since I built it. Most of the parts like the frame, tanks, fenders, wheels, oil bath air cleaner, speedo, engine and trans are original OEM parts. The leather, battery box, exhaust system, floor boards {they have steel pads I believe rubber pads would be correct for a type 3} rear rack, rifle rack and ammo box are good reproductions. If you take a look at the last picture you'll see, buried under several layers of paint, what we believe to be the original markings for this bike. The only problem I have had with this bike is answering questions whenever you stop. These are easy handling, durable, reliable and fun to ride bikes, albeit slow.

This Classic 1942 Motorcycle is owned by a former race car driver and has been a work in progress. It is currently a Rat-Rod design but can easilly be converted back to the origional. Among the many modifications that have been made are a rebuilt engine with Joe Hunt magneto, rebuilt servicar transmission with the reverse blocked off. It has a new chain and new tires (2sets) and includes many spare parts too numerous to mention such as exhaust, carbs, seat, handle bar, ETC. I am told this was origionally a military bike used in World War II.

I am listing my personal 1941 Harley Davidson WLA that has been restored. All that is left is a tune up (plugs, oil, brake adjustments, etc.) as everything else has been done. This final tuning and setup should be done by a professional with knowledge of vintage bikes prior to putting the bike on the road (if that is the intent). Alternatively, this would be a great museum or home showpiece. The bike is 90% original with mainly smaller parts and nuts and bolts being reproductions. The title is clear and currently registered in my name. This bike had been in a private museum collection for many years. I purchased the bike with the intent to replace or add the required parts to make it a rider which I have done. Another project opportunity has presented itself so I am open to moving this one. This is again a rare 1941 model with corresponding engine numbers with clear title! I also have a recent appraisal that will go with the bike to the winning bid.
