1977 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead , 1977 Shovelhead FLH for sale. Engine is a 1977 and has Truett and Osborne flywheels, evo con rods and wiesco pistons. 1340cc..The heads are dual plug but only using one set. You can run both if you would like. It has a fully adjustable compufire ignition system with an S&S coil and blue streak wires. The carb. is a S&S super E that is installed new summer 2013 along with the ignition system. A valve job was done winter 2013 and the bottom end checked. It has about 17,000 miles on it. The cam is an Andrews A/B and the oil pump is S&S. $ speed transmission shifts great along with a Barnett Scorpion clutch. Rear brakes are upgraded to GMA caliper and master cylinder. Front end is a 1995 softail that works really well with the progressive shocks. The seat and rear fender paint have become worn some but I am leaving them alone and lowering the price as you may want to make the bike your own by changing things up..the chrome is nice and this bike rides great and is reliable. I just installed a new 32 amp charging system,stator and regulator so you won't have to worry about that job in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to ride this Shovel anywhere. Custom 1967 Harley Davidson FLH. This bike is just ending its break in period on the 110hp 93" original Harley engine. ENGINE: The original 74" inch engine was shipped to Hot Shot Motors in Sandusky, OH. There is was completely disassembled, machined and rebuilt in to a 93" monster. The heads were bored for big bore cylinders and resurfaced. They were also ported and flowed. Cylinders were painted. Truett & Osborn crankshaft stroker kit was balanced. Valve guides replaced and honed. Intake port and flow. Moly Coat pistons.C grind Andrews cam. S&S oil pump and Billet rocker boxes. S&S Tappets and billet guides. All bearings, valves, etc. are all new. This is a professional 100% complete rebuild. Total Cost $6188. Add billet cam cover and electronic distributor brings this engine overhaul to $6788. This engine is a work of art. In 67 Harley used the Panhead bottom and the Shovehead top end. Much better looking then the cone bottom ends of later years in my opinion. TRANSMISSION: This is the original 4 speed with replaced springs and throwout bearing. PRIMARY: 3" open belt brand new clutch with Indian Larry basket cover. PAINT: Custom paint done by JE Illusions in Eugene, OR. Existing pain was stripped. Base Black and Metallic for ground coat. Kandy stripes layout then airbrushed with Skulls and Question Marks. 10 Coats minimum of clear coat, Bake cycle, buff, polish, wet sand and glazed. Fender was undercoated and lip sealed. This is an amazing show quality paint job. COST $3104 LEAF SPRING FRONT END: This front end rides beautifully. Chromed by Spacecoast Plating and powdercoated black $661.28 plus $1400 for raw custom built leaf springer = $2061 Add Indian Larry brake rotors, Choppers Inc. risers and pegs, custom Indian Larry battery cover, 1918 Knife handle kicker, billet rims, Performance Machine brakes, Chopper Shox seat shocks make this ride smooth, on a custom leather covered seat. Chrome mousetrap hand clutch set up or Jockey/Suicide set up included. This is a custom that is smooth to ride a ton of power and not like every other factory Harley out there. VERY EASY TO START: Gas on, crank open throttle while two prime kicks, turn key on, Kick and that's it. with the Crane coil and the electronic ignition she fires super easy. A 100# person can start this bike with easy. There are no disappointments with this beautiful bike. You're bidding on a 1 owner, original, unrestored, #s matching 1975 FLH with 4.5k original miles. This is a true survivor! I purchased it from the estate of the deceased original owner. The orig. owner didn't just like his bike, he LOVED it until his death a few years ago. Mostly ridden on special occasions or events and always stored in a dry climate controlled building. Motor has never been apart and it runs superbly. No smoke, no leaks, no strange noises, transmission shifts the way it's supposed to and it rides like a dream. All of the chrome is in excellent condition with VERY little surface rust or oxidation. The fairing, and bags were painted to match the orig. color decades ago. The color is close but not a perfect match to the orig. The gas tanks were repainted for some reason also. On the very front bottom of the right gas tank, some of the repaint has flaked off and you can see the original paint which looks really nice, glossy and bright. I don't know why the tanks were repainted and I was very temped to try to remove it, (might just have minor imperfections underneath???). The only things that have been recently replaced are the oil, air filter, points, condenser, front brake master cylinder and petcock. All of the electrics work except for the amp meter, oil pressure guage and cig lighter, (probably just a loose wire) and the horn button is missing but horn still works. The radio works but I don't have any 8 track tapes laying around to see if the tape deck still works. Also comes with matching tour pack with more fancy lights. This is a turn key, classic antique motorcycle that can be ridden daily the way it sits. It attracts an enormous amount of attention anywhere it goes and I'm sure you'll even snag a few trophies if that's your bag.
