Although the bike is a resto-mod it is fairly original, numbers matching frame, motor, original front end, fenders and tanks. The rims are RC Components pieces ($3000 value) complemented with a matching rear sprocket. Extra wide bars, chrome foot and hand controls, Chromed Locomotive Style Front end, GMA Brakes front and rear with SS braided lines. This bike is a nicest FLH from the era I have seen around for the money. The motor is a 1200ccm, 74 Cubic Inches Shovelhead type, around 30K Miles with 4 speed transmission. Bike runs and rides great, the looks are stunning as you can see from the pictures, only few owners from new!!!. This FLH has a lot of character and needs similar person to ride it. Electric and kick starter, all numbers matching!!! TO SEE OTHER HARLEY CLASSIC SHOVELHEADS FOR SALE BY ME CLICK HERE This 1980 AMF FXE-1200 Super Glide appears to be serviced well, runs and rides good. It is an old shovelhead nevertheless and may need some tinkering from time to time. Have you ever wanted a nice big twin Harley but could not afford one?? Here is your chance to get an eye catcher as never before. Bike shows ~29K miles on the clock. I was told the top end was done few years ago and the top end seals and gaskets just recently. I have not seen any oil leaks on the drive train, nor any drips on the garage floor but since it is a Shovelhead it may seep few drops of oil from the primary, (it is a Shovelhead, remember?). Paint very nice, couple of small dings here and there touched up, not noticeable. The electrical components all work as intended, brakes both works very well, I will swap the kicker for the swing out kicker to clear the pipes when kick starting. Those OEM 2-1 exhaust pipes are bulky. Some spot rust on front wheel rim. Tach moves but does not show RPM readings correctly. For sale a jewel, 1976 AMF Harley Davidson FX-1200 Superglide Shovelhead that is constantly hard to find in such great original condition. Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works, no surprises, no disappointment. This is a collector dream, no questions asked. If you are looking for one you know best. Very honest motorcycle, one will be hard pressed to find a better looking and running 1976 FXE-1200 Superglide now days. This bike looks to me very good considering its age and rides as good as it looks! Paint on the tank and fenders shows some patina, bike has original paint on the chassis as well with the original, factory sticker. The patina on the frame and drive train that accumulated with years shows well the bike heritage. This Shovelhead is not a trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable, older Harley that will keep appreciate in value with time. Both front and rear tires are Dunlop and like new, brakes work well, it rides, shifts and stops as it should. I have ridden the bike and shifted all 4 gears, it is a pleasure!! I have not seen any oil leaks on the motor or tranny. This bike has the original wet primary that may seep few drops of oil over time but that is being consider normal with those old Shovs. Sweet Harley FXE-1200 Superglide Shovelhead is all numbers matching and ready for you to ride in style! "Stand out from the rest! Beautifully proportioned with graceful lines. Powerful 4-stroke OHV V-twin 1200cc Harley Davidson engine that back up a boast, 4 speed transmission. Get on and grab a little attention yourself!" For sale a jewel, a1975 Harley Davidson FXE1200 Superglide Shovelhead AMF that is constantly hard to find in such great original condition. Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works, no surprises, no disappointment. This is a collector dream, no questions asked. If you are looking for one you should know best. You will be hard pressed to find a better looking and running 1975 FX Superglide nowdays. This bike looks to me very good considering its age and rides as good as it looks! Paint on the tank and fenders is new and almost perfect, stilll bike has original paint on the chassis with the original, factory sticker. There is great patina on the frame and drive train that accumulated with years. This Shovelhead is not a trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable older Harley that will keep appreciate in value with time. Both front and rear tires are like new, brakes work well, it rides, shifts and stops as it should. I have ridden the bike and shifted all 4 gears, it is a pleasure!! I have not seen any oil leaks on the motor or tranny. This bike has the original wet primary that may seep few drops of oil over time but that is being consider normal with those old shovs. Sweet Harley FX-1200 Shovelhead is all numbers matching and ready for you to ride in style!
