This bike was designed looking to reward its riders with a commanding riding position and a huge amount of raw power, the 2004 Harley Davidson V-Rod is a real masterpiece of design and technology. At the core of the V-Rod sits the company’s legendary liquid-cooled, revolution, 60° V Twin engine which puts out a peak horsepower of 115 at 8,500 rpm and has a redline of 9,000 rpm. The Revolution engine is an extremely durable motorcycle engine. It survived the most brutal and aggressive durability test in the industry: the Dusseldorf Test. Simulating a grueling trip along Germany’s notorious Autobahn, the engine endured a wide range of performance tests. This machine proves that more can be less by taking minimalist styling cues from WWII-era "bobbers" and the custom choppers of the 1970's. Features like mini ape-hangar handlebars, the classic Fat Bob fuel tank, wrap around rear fender, and chrome spoke wheels provide a powerful styling statement. It all starts with the Twin Cam 96 engine. This engine is a 45-degree, air-cooled V-Twin that was first released for 2007. It is most distinct from earlier Harley EVO engines by virtue of its more efficient oil pump, silent chain cam drive, directly attached transmission, and a no wasted spark ignition system. The transmission is a 6-speed manual shift that's geared for everything from town cruising to interstate speeds. 1st through 3rd are perfectly at home through town keeping the bike moving or pulling hard for when you want to get from A to B quickly. 4th and 5th really buzz once out of town and 6th is super tall to make interstate highway speeds less dramatic. The chassis handles curves pretty well for a non-sport bike and the brakes do their job and then some. Four-piston calipers front and rear really give this bike the ability to be controlled. This bike does have a couple of extras. It has a full windshield, highway pegs, passenger seat with sissy bar, and a screamin' eagle exhaust system. Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This bike is in GREAT condition. It only has 10,805 miles and runs like the day it was new. This bike needs absolutely nothing and is ready to hit the road. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. Not much to say on condition. We tried to look for blemishes and we unable to find anything that stood out. The paint is NOT cracked or chipped anywhere, and the fenders and gas tank are dent free. The Street Glide is a classic touring bike that with just one look, you know it's just not another ordinary bike. With a classically styled fuel tank, Bat Wing fairing, GTX hard saddlebags, twin-cam 103ci EFI engine, and a six-speed transmission, this machine is truly something inspiring. This bike is powered by a 1690cc V-Twin, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine that's paired with a 6-speed transmission and an integrated Isolated Drive System that delivers all the power and drive-ability you could ask for. Throw Cruise Control on top of that, and you've got a bike that's ready for any length of trip. Fuel Injection or EFI is one of the greatest advances to motorcycles in recent history. No matter how you want to ride, whether your wanting to ride all out, or just cruising around town; EFI will keep the machine tuned to the correct air/fuel ratio. No more guessing at jet sizes, and long nights tuning your machine correctly. EFI is just purely simple. Hop on, push the button, and off you go. Its a six-speed manual transmission with a hill/toe shifter. This means less effort in shifting. It also has a very comfortable seat from the factory, and the steering geometry offers superior handling. Of course it comes with a speedometer, tachometer, Fuel gauge, Voltmeter, Oil Pressure gauge, Air Temperature gauge, and lighted indicators for low oil pressure warning, turn signals, Hi beam, and Neutral as standard equipment. With a seat height of only 27.1", 41.3mm front forks, and dual air-adjustable rear shocks, this is a very comfortable machine for just about anyone. A 6 gallon fuel tank offers plenty of mileage between refills, and Brembo 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes offer the stopping performance you'd expect. In addition to all the performance and visual features the Street Glide offers, this bike also has RC Components RCXhaust 4" Gatlin Eclipse exhaust pipes, RC Components Gatlin Eclipse hand grips, quick-attach rear sissy bar (not pictured), highway bars with pegs, floorboards for driver and passenger, windshield pouches with Harley logo, and some odds and ends chrome pieces. The pipes not only continue the chromed out look of the factory system, but they do let this machine come alive and sound like a big V-Twin. Don't be scared, these pipes aren't obnoxiously loud and over bearing. They just add the growl that every V-Twin engine should have. Not to mention that the billet end caps look amazing. The grips match the exhaust and are not only very comfortable, but look amazing as well. The front windshield pouches not only look like they should have been there from the factory to start with, but add a very desirable section of storage. And let's not forget about your passenger. The backrest definitely adds some creature comfort. No one wins on a trip with an unhappy rear passenger. The floorboards and highway pegs add that extra room and comfort to be able to stretch out and relax, making long trips even that much more comfortable. Overall this machine is a very comfortable and easy to ride bike, yet still offers the performance every true rider expects from a Harley Davidson Street Glide.As a last mention, this bike has been very well maintained and looked after.
