This listing is for a very nice 1999 Honda Goldwing 1500 50th Anniversary Edition. I have ridden this bike for a couple of years now and have had absolutely no problems with it. Everything works as it should or it has for me. Reverse works fine, radio works although I have not tried to use the CB so there is no assurance on that function. The bike has the taller Tulsa windshield installed but I also have the shorter windshield to go with it as well. There are forward highway boards mounted to the engine bars as well as passenger highway boards. Again, other than the unknown CB function, everything else works as it should to the best of my knowledge. I just don't ride the bike enough to justify keeping it. I can deliver up to 200 miles for a nominal fee of $75.00 to cover my expenses. I can also assist with shipping if the buyer makes all the arrangements. This bike is in very good condition and will give it's new owner many miles of pleasure. There are I am sure some minor paint chips but there is no major damage on the bike and certainly nothing that will affect the function or performance of the bike. The mileage could change as the weather might permit a short ride or two during the listing. The bike is listed for sale locally so the auction could close early. The bike has just over 32,000, but less than 32,100 miles clocked on it. This bike has a fuel injected (PGM-FI), 919cc, inline four cylinder that makes a Honda claimed 110hp. The engines and transmissions on these bikes are notorious bullet. I had buddy in Johnstown have 125k miles on his before selling it. Although it not the greatest on gas, I get between 40-45mpg average on it, but it's usually at 42mpg. It's a relatively light weight bike at dry weight of 427.6lbs and a wet weight of 470lbs. This bike has a power to weight ratio of something like a modern Yamaha FZ-09 would have. To the hooligans who care, it has a Honda rated top speed of 146.2mph ;). The main reason I am selling it is because I am a college kid who currently owns two motorcycles can't afford/justify owning both. What's new New X-ring chain (less than 150 miles) New rear tire (less than 1,500 miles on it) New stator and stator cover (less than 150 miles) Newer Battery (desulfated before every season) New synthetic oil change (less than 150 miles) New spark plugs (less than 150 miles) New coolant/antifreeze (less than 150 miles) New front brake switch Aftermarket Enhancements New driver footpegs (rubber was worn) (less than 150 miles) Newer K&N Air Filter (simply because I can clean it) New Bar end mirrors-fully adjustable (I can see things behind me better) (less than 150 miles) New grips (it needed it) (less than 150 miles) Newer stainless steel braided brake lines (for durability) New front flush mount LED turn signals (for durability) (less than 150 miles) New LED rear replacement brake lights (for durability) (less than 150 miles) Newer front windscreen (comfort for highways) Something to note- It had a valve/shim adjustment done at 18k miles and it was inspected at around 30k miles. According to the mechanic the previous owner took it to, the valves are still within serviceable specs, but he recommended have them inspected again at around 35k but no later than 40k miles. All around this is a great bike. Truthfully, I bought this bike this season with the intention of it replacing my current bike. I spent a good chunk of change making it look nice and work nice. To my surprise, I've actually chosen to keep the old bike I had for comfort and it's low maintenance reasons (air cooled and hydraulic lifters). Should you wish to test drive it, I need a proof of payment/funds, a full motorcycle endorsement, and I will require you to wear a helmet of some sort. I do not have full insurance coverage, being a low income college kid, therefore I am not taking any chances. Twins and singles are the engine configurations I work on. With this custom lowered seat, almost anyone can safely touch the ground with their feet flat on the ground! This custom cafe racer is the continuation of someone else's project. The starter motor was pulled and plugged, the forks were rebuilt and reconfigured, new rear shocks were installed, the front fender/ultra strong fork brace was modified, the swing arm was paint stripped and clear coated, tubes and tires were mounted, clip-ons were installed, engine cases were polished, 2 into 1 header system was created from stock CB350 headers, front drum, front brake plate, front sprocket cover, and rear brake plate had been drilled for cooling, stainless steel Allen head screw conversion installed, new headlight ears mounted, tapered steering stem bearing upgrade installed, and a few other items before I laid hands on it. I added the rear set configuration for both shifting and rear brake, wired the electrical system with modern solid state rectifier, added the cafe seat, added the invisible battery, installed the integrated turn signals with the mirrors and tail light, installed the new halogen headlamp, throttle cable, front brake cable, custom length clutch cable, POR-15 lined fuel tank, VHT epoxy painted tank in matte finish, balanced the wheels, rebuilt the carburetors, tuned up the engine, replaced the drive chain, added the polished aluminum velocity stacks, rebuilt and polished the horn, new kicker rubber, new brake and shifter arms with rear sets, new rear tank rubber mount, Notice the trending void behind the engine by having removed the battery, battery box, side covers, air filters, etc... All color has been removed from the bike leaving only black and metal. Turn signals LEDs are amber, brake and tail lights are red, but only when activated through the smoke lenses. The CL350 Honda was first created in 1968 and every Scrambler came with the traditional Darth Vader tank through the last one produced in 1973. Star Wars was not released until 1977. You take a look at the tail of the CL350 tank and do the math. Darth Bike is a radical ride without the benefit of electric start. I hope to have a lady CB200 rider start the bike in the video to be produced when completed and ready for the photoshoot as well. Will be edited in after her visit. I have a classic 1971 Honda CB100 for sale. This has been a great bike for me but its time to move on to something else. I have only put OEM and NOS parts on the bike except for the carburetor. Up for auction is a 1981 Honda Goldwing Interstate GL1100I. It has around 65,000 miles on chassis. This bike is still driven often so mileage may be higher than stated when sold. 45,000 miles on '83 engine installed 2 years ago. Parts added within last 2 years besides engine are as follows: New windshield, all new throttle, clutch and choke cables, new battery, new engine chrome kit, new starter, . Added last year are: new tires, front and rear, new king/queen seat, new LED lighting to saddlebags, new driving lights, modulating headlight and brake lights, new side view mirrors. It comes equipped with amber strobe lights for driving in fog. It has floorboards for driver and passenger as well as heel toe shifter. Rear air suspension has been removed and Harley coil springs added. Front forks have been resealed last year. Carbs totally gone through (rebuilt) 2 years ago. It has sometimes been described as the world’s first superbike. The Z1, along with Honda’s CB750 from 1969, introduced the four-cylinder, across the frame, disc-braked layout to a wider public. The Z1 was groundbreaking in that it combined many different elements which previous motorcycles had used into one performance package. The Z1 Kawasaki was developed in strict secrecy under the project name “New York Steak”. Some years previously, Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, decided to make a 750cc 4-cylinder 4-stroke sports motorcycle; they were beaten to the market place by the Honda CB750. Apparently, the bosses at Kawasaki disapproved and ordered their designers to come up with something better. The bike you see here is a ’73 Z1 900 that is in beautiful condition. We have the original retail buyers order and agreement that shows the bike was originally purchased June 18th, 1974 from Strathroy Small Engine. The bike retains its original engine (Z1E08169) as shown on the original bill of sale. The original paint on the bike is in near perfect condition with no imperfections to note. The emblems are all original and correct for the bike as well. Both stainless steel fenders look great with no damage or pitting showing to either. The seat looks great with no rips, tears or wear. The original 4 cylinder, 900 cc engine runs great and starts up with a push of the button. Brakes work as they should and the bike shifts with no problems. 1989 Yamaha Venture Royale: 1300cc, 21,400 actual original miles, Water Cooled, Electric Fan, CLASS Computerized Leveling Air Suspension System, Cruise Control, Intercom, AM/FM, Cassette Player, CB Radio, Floor boards, Heel Toe Shifter, Highway Foot Boards, and Fog Lights. All electronics are functional, not sure about the cassette I don’t have a cassette tape to try it out. The cooling system is fully functional, I’ve had the bike idling for almost an hour with no signs of overheating. It starts the first time and runs very well. The tires are in decent shape and the seats are in excellent condition. The bike has sat for a while with only occasional short trips. A recent tuneup included: a new battery, carburetor synchronization, clean and gap spark plugs, oil and filter replacement, clutch fluid replaced and bled, brake fluid replaced and bled. The bike has some issues that are typical of older bikes, a small oil leak, the fuel petcock is stuck in the on position and small cracks in the some of the plastic on the fairing and body panels but it is well worth the money. I have seen similar models with over 200,000 miles on them. I have a clear Florida title and the original owners manual.
