Very Clean Original bike. I purchased the bike with the intent to keep it as a collectors but have other projects that I can use the funds towards. I purchased it from the second owner. Has some cracks in the left side panel. The head gasket is wet but does not drip oil and hasn't become worse at all in the few miles I have put on the bike. Fires up and runs excellent. New tires installed a year ago. Amazing condition for the year. I hold a clean clear Montana Title on hand. I have seen several of these bikes for sale recently for less money but none have been this clean and/or original. I don't have to sell it but If I can get my price I will. The 1800's also have linked braking (the rear brake pedal actuates 1 of the 3 caliper pistons on the front wheel), dual front brake rotors (the 1300's have only 1 front brake rotor), and a hydraulic clutch versus the 1300's cable actuated clutch.

Up for sale is a 2005 Honda 919 (also known as CB900F or Hornet). I have owned this bike for over two years; my brother-in-law was the original owner. The bike only has 19,600 miles on the odometer (half of what the average 2005 bike in this class would have). My brother-in-law hit some gravel within the first year of owning the bike; he went down on the right side. You can see the dent in the gas tank, scratches on the right side of the engine, bent rear brake pedal, and both right lights that are bent. I have never had any issues with the gas tank being rusty and the other items in question are cosmetic. I have tried to take good pictures to show you the damage, so as to give you a good assessment of the bike's condition. I am selling this bike to upgrade to a sport touring bike; outside of the cosmetic issues described above, the bike is in good shape! It runs very nicely. I have replaced both tires ($380; Dunlop Sportmax Q3) and brake pads, along with changing/bleeding the front and rear brake fluid. The tires have about 2500 miles on them. The bike has always been kept in a garage. There are saddlebags that you can buy to add more storage for longer trips. The bike comes with a center stand (very handy for storing the bike upright) along with the kickstand. The bike also has cruise control (thumb activated lever) which is super convenient! I am asking $2400 OBO. Average retail price ($3400) - tank ($700) - lights ($200) - Cosmetic damage ($100) = $2400. It is a very fun bike to ride; it is quick, responsive, and very maneuverable.
