Approximately 12,000 miles. 6 speed transmission. Brand new Michelin Pilot Power tires front and rear, less than 100 miles on them. Bike has Yoshimura TRS carbon fiber slip-on exhaust, Corbin Gunfighter seat, after market mirrors (moves mirrors from on top of handlebars to the end of the bars), after market rear fender eliminator kit, after market front turn signal LEDs (also pulls them in closer to the forks so they don't stick out as much) and after market sprockets and chain. Already a comfortable bike to ride because of the upright seating position and handlebar positioning, the Corbin seat makes a full day in the saddle a breeze. Extremely comfortable. Extremely fast 1000cc class V-Twin machine with incredible torque. This bike keeps up with the fastest sport bikes all day long and is just as enjoyable to ride on more relaxed solo cruises. Those of you who know this machine, know this machine. Honda discontinued the VTR1000F a few years ago despite all of the praise and rave reviews for its amazing performance and reliability. If you are not familiar with this model please take a moment to do some online research and you will find loads of great reviews and positive commentary. The VTR1000F has the largest carburetors Honda has ever put on one of its production motorcycles and while being a true performance sport bike the riding position is slightly more upright than other sport bikes, making long rides and tours much more comfortable. This bike has had two adult owners, myself and the woman I purchased it from about seven years ago. It has been very well maintained and cared for, and has always been stored indoors. This is a stock motorcycle with the exception of the aftermarket front turn signals and removal of the factory license plate holder/rear fender. The first owner removed the license plate holder/rear fender and installed an alternate license plate bracket and light. This bike has always passed Massachusetts state inspection without any issues. The plastic panel covering the rear of the seat is easily removed to accommodate a passenger. The original Honda VTR1000F Owner's Guide and stock tool kit are with the bike and in great condition. I have just installed a new Interstate AGM battery. I also have the Honda (HELM) factory maintenance and service manuals for this bike available for sale as well. USED MOTORCYCLE FOR SALE: 2001 HONDA VTR1000F SUPER HAWK 996 Excellent condition, barely broken in with only 4,145 miles!!! Extremely fast 1000cc class V-Twin machine with incredible torque. This bike keeps up with the fastest sport bikes all day long and is just as enjoyable to ride on more relaxed solo cruises. Those of you who know this machine, know this machine. Honda discontinued the VTR1000F a few years ago despite all of the praise and rave reviews for its amazing performance and reliability. If you are not familiar with this model please take a moment to do some online research and you will find loads of great reviews and positive commentary. The VTR1000F has the largest carburetors Honda has ever put on one of its production motorcycles and while being a true performance sport bike the riding position is slightly more upright than other sport bikes, making long rides and tours much more comfortable. This bike has had two adult owners, myself and the woman I purchased it from about seven years ago. It has been very well maintained and cared for, and has always been stored indoors. This is a stock motorcycle with the exception of the aftermarket front turn signals and removal of the factory license plate holder/rear fender. The first owner removed the license plate holder/rear fender and installed an alternate license plate bracket and light. This bike has always passed Massachusetts state inspection without any issues. The plastic panel covering the rear of the seat is easily removed to accommodate a passenger. The original Honda VTR1000F Owner's Guide and stock tool kit are with the bike and in great condition. I have just installed a new Interstate AGM battery. I also have the Honda (HELM) factory maintenance and service manuals for this bike available for sale as well.
