GS1100E, Performance King of 1980, even faster than a Honda CBX. Except for a performance exhaust header and a brand new premium reproduction seat cover from the well known seat manufacturer Sargents, this bike seems to be a stock GS1100E. GS1100’s was the best you could buy in 1980. They were known to be very fast, smooth, and comfortable to ride long distances. The gas tank is excellent, its stock paint is unfaded, and it has no deep scratches or dents. Pin striping is very good everywhere. The fenders are straight and unbent, handlebars straight. Headlight, tail light, turn signals and brake lights all work. All wiring appears to be stock. It has the nicks and scratches on the underframe that you would expect for a motorcycle in a northern climate.The speedo, tachometer, warning lights and fuel gauge work, as well as its illumination, see the pictures. Its throttle,clutch action and gear shifting works as they should. It had a new Yuasa high performance battery last fall. The battery is also pre-wired for a quick connect for a battery tender. Attached are videos of me starting and riding it last fall. It runs strong. It was too fast for me to really take it out and open it up fully, but you can hear it running strong. I have had it running this spring.What does it need? The bike is 27 years old and if you want it for a daily rider, you should put some work into it. Tires have decent tread and hold air well, but I wouldn’t take a long trip on them. A performance bike like this should have new tires. The front fender being plastic has some alligatoring and loss of paint as shown in the pictures. Both front and rear brakes work and bring it to a stop smoothly, but the lines should probably be bled out and fluid replaced. I have two videos for you to see, one in April last year, a second one in September. You will note that in the second video it is running much smoother, as I put a new K&N Filter on it. It has a performance exhaust which could break your eardrums if you aren’t careful. However I do have an Original GS1100E exhaust system that I bought on Ebay for $300 that will go with the sale.

ONLY 400 miles on this extremely well preserved 1979 XS Eleven in Indigo Blue. It is all stock as it came from "Anaheim Motorcycles" in 1978 as a 1979 1100F model. The bike was first purchased in the fall of 1978 but it was only registered for 3 years up to 1981. I have the registration records 1978-1981 and the license plate sticker shows 1981 as well. As of last year the bike is registered in CA and has a clean title. When I bought the bike it had the original tires still in new condition. I decided to replace them with the OEM Bridgstone brand to stay as authentic as possible for safety reasons only. I still have the original tires and inner tubes which amazingly look new and are soft to the touch. The carburetors were professionally cleaned and refurbished using only new old stock (NOS) parts. The engine runs as it should considering it's basically a brand new machine. The exhaust system is in excellent condition, and sounds beautiful. The engine purrs at cruising speeds, but when you give it some gas it growls and accelerates with no hesitation. All bolts and nuts are like new. The new battery fires up the bike instantly and it idles perfectly. The XS11 has a stock 95 HP engine which makes it as fast as a modern motorcycle. The "Eleven" in the name not only stands for the displacement but also the quarter mile time (which is sub 12 seconds) achieved easily. Original owner's manual, toolkit, and emergency kick starter are also included. Asking 8,900 For fun you might want to search Youtube for the 1978 Castrol Production Bike Race at Amaroo Park where the XS1100 beat the rival 6 cylinder Honda CBX1000 and Suzuki GS1100, Ducati 900SS, and BMW R100S while no Kawasaki KZ1000 models were present the new Z1R made its debut.

TIMS has a nice 1982 suzuki gs1100 for sale with only 14k miles on it --its in great condition and runs good too ,other than when we removed the stock airbox and installed new air pods as the boots were hard and air was seeping through it and now it runs a little rough at high speeds but i talked to a gs guru and he says it needs bigger jets to run well with the air pods so im presumimg thats all it needs since it ran good before we took off the airbox,which we will include in the sale,but be prepared to buy new rubber boots for it if you do elect to install it-the bike has oem pipes that are in great shape but the left muffler has a couple small scratches on it--the paint work is real nice with only a few small scuffs that wont even show up in pics ,and the left engine cover has some oxidation on it that needs polishing--the fuel gauge does not work but everything else does other than the battery sensor which we removed the bulb since the new battery we installed doesnt allow for the sensor in it--tires have plenty of tread left and the seat is in good condition with no rips or tears---also check our other auctions for more cool bikes and of course honda cbx parts,as thats what we specialize in---we will assist in any way we can with shipping at buyers expense--my delivery guy can take it to most parts of the us for around 500.00--
