1973 Honda CL100 Scrambler The bike is in great condition especially considering that it is a small vintage motorcycle. Many of these bikes were used as first motorcycles and have been sold to youthful riders who have abused them and ridden them off road. This is certainly not the case with this collectable machine which comes with a clean title. The bike has a clean gas tank, and very minimal rust or pitting in the chrome parts. The bike starts, runs, and shifts without any problems. All the lights and speedometer are functional. This past year it has received new chain, sprockets, tires, battery, brakes, cleaned carb. The bike is in great over all condition but some defects I must point out for potential buyers are as followed: Tear in the left fork boot, minor dent in the right side of the gas tank, and side cover badges from a 125 model. With this being said this is a great bike to enjoy as it is or make perfect.

Hello all honda enthusiasts. some of you have been waiting for this bike for a while. Others, maybe don't even know it ever existed. This will not be a short description. This is a 45 year old bike, there are many nuances. Please pay attention and read the ENTIRE description THOROUGHLY before you call me. First things first, this is a One Year Only bike (model year 1969). It is an SL90. Not a 70, or a 100, or a 125. SL 90. It has a 4 speed manual (one down three up) transmission, equipped on this platform only in the S, CL and SL versions. It is a 'sapphire blue' bike, with the base silver coat 'striped' through on both sides of the tank. I believe the paint to be original. There are blemishes on the paint, on the tank, and the rear fender. Someone tried to touch up the paint on the rear fender in just a few spots and did a poor job of both paint matching as well as application. On the front fender, there are some chips and dings (it's a front fender), and a tiny bit of rust on the edge. There's a pretty good picture of it. The chrome is okay. No big pits or rusty spots. There's silver overspray on the chain guard. Which leads me to my next point. Someone has resprayed the frame with a silver paint. It seems to be a lighter color than the original cloud silver. There seems to be no overspray on any of the blue paint, but the same can't be said for the wiring, or the chrome chainguard. You can see in the picture there's silver overspray next to the original dealer sticker. i have some reducer i can put on a rag and wipe it down with to see if it comes off. I'm willing to bet it will. There's some drips on the sprocket cover. Looks like it could be from batteries past (acid drips). The cover could be repainted or, much classier, polished (it's aluminum) to restore it's visual appeal. I just happen to have a polished sprocket cover wrapped in a towel. If you want me to swap it, inquire within (the price will reflect it). The horn works, the lights work (high, low and brake). The kill switch does not kill the motor. if i had to guess, it's either poorly grounded or not hooked up. The neutral light doesn't work. The bike starts and runs pretty well. I ran a compression test and found only 105 psi of compression. Thats a tad low, even for this old 4 stroke. I'd like to see 155 or so. Even with this low pressure, the bike will still run about 45 mph. Shifts smoothly and effortlessly through all 4 gears. The clutch engages smoothly and predictably. The carburetor was rebuilt by the previous owner very recently. he was an aircraft mechanic (and we forgive him for that), and there is a receipt for the carburetor parts. A 54 tooth sprocket is included with the auction. The stock gearing is 14/45. The bike now has a 46 rear sprocket, and a fairly new chain. The tires are in okay shape (original) and they hold air, but they're beginning to crack between the lugs due to age. The brakes work well. The fork Seals are leaking, and as a result, the front end feels squishy. it could use new seals, dust sweepers, and 10w or 15w (depending on your use) oil. Not a huge ordeal. The countershaft seal also looks to be leaking. Again, no big deal to replace. The bike has a new battery. The headlight bucket has blemishes on it, but no cracks or chips. the Speedometer works, and the bike shows 3904 miles. None of the spokes are broken. the wheels seem straight. Footpeg rubbers are missing. Tank emblems still have original white paint, and look good. the battery cover is complete and not cracked, has original warning sticker, and also looks good. the air cleaner is in similar shape. Well that's most of it, but not all. This is a very rare bike, and the price i'm asking will reflect that. Just in it's complete state i feel this bike is a gem. with little work the bike could be a nice rider for years to come. OR, in my opinion, this would be a GREAT restoration candidate. A respray on the blue and frame, clean up the motor, get new rubbers and cables, and it would do WONDERS for this bike. if i had the money, i would do exactly that. Unfortunately now, i need money more than another old honda bike. This bike includes the original California title, the original owner's manual, a repair manual, a rear sprocket, and, most of the original tool kit (not pictured) but, i DO NOT HAVE THE TOOL KIT BAG. Sorry. From me the bike will come with a bill of sale, but the title is really all you need to prove ownership. BECAUSE OF THE RARITY OF THIS BIKE, i would be willing to ship it. If you want me to take the wheels off, etc, it can be done. This is under the preference of the buyer, and will not, under any circumstances, be done for free. The bike is located in Park City, Utah, and can be delivered from or picked up at this location. if you live only 1 state away, we can work something out, probably on the order of $.50/mile.THE BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND THEREFORE THE AUCTION CAN END AT ANY TIME WEATHER OR NOT THE RESERVE IS MET. If you have 0 or less than 10 feedback rating, your bid WILL BE CANCELLED. I've been on ebay for 11 years, and i do not tolerate non-paying bidders. If you have any questions call my google voice number. 781 606 0434. Not before or after 10am or 10pm Mountain standard time. Texts work too. DO NOT ASK WHAT THE RESERVE IS. If you want the bike, bid up to what you think it's worth. The reserve represents what i think it is worth as a semi-educated seller. Look at the other honda sl90's on ebay. then look at mine. Because of what this bike is, i would like to see it go to a caring enthusiast. Please don't buy this bike and give it to your 9 year old to learn to ride on. that would be a waste of a rare honda classic. Finally, Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Look at my feedback to see who you're dealing with. i might not be a 'pow*r se*ll*r' (i don't sell 100+ items per year :( ), but my feedback reflects my integrity and respect for this site. I am a seasoned mechanic and i can fix this bike up for the right buyer, but, because of my current financial situation, i need money. I can't afford to sink funds into this bike to make it perfect, although i would really like to. On Jun-21-14 at 17:03:00 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for your continued interest. i can't wait for the bidding to take off. I appreciate the phone calls, emails, questions, etc. I've only posted the answer to one on here (so far), but most have been about shipping. Within reason, i would like to remind you that i will work with the buyer to get the bike to you, or at least close to you. For specific questions, you can continue to call me at 7816060434. Use the ebay link to reach me and leave a number if you want me to call you. Thanks again and BID IT UP! i'm expecting all the bids within the last 2 hours of auction. GOOD LUCK! Okay so this is obviously a re-list. The price is high. Well, considering the rarity of the bike, it's not obscene. I still need the money, but not as badly. I really believe the bike is worth this much, but that might only be in my perspective as a buyer. Per usual, any questions or concerns call me or contact me through eBay. Thanks again for your interest!

I have a 1985 Yamaha FJ1100 for sale. This is a fantastic bike and is quite powerful. I believe it is around 125 HP. It's air-cooled, big, and full of torque. Really slams past 5500 rpm. Runs great! The Pichler fairing on this bike alone could probably bring in around 900-1000 dollars on eBay. If you google it you will see that it is almost impossibly rare. Being an FJ fan for years (I've had an FJ600 and another FJ1100) I had never seen one until I found this gem. When I got it, it had been sitting and needed some carb work and a couple other things. I brought it to Wrench-My-Ride in Santa Clara because they like to work on older classic bikes and was told by their lead tech that this was one of the best examples of an old bike he'd ever come across. The bike starts right up and idles with an amazing amount of smoothness. It's really quite docile at low speeds and is about as comfortable as any cruiser you could find, while still being on par with a 1st Gen Vmax or even a modern 600 in speed. I believe the 1/4 mile record for these bikes was mid 10's, so it's no slouch. This particular bike has DEFINITELY been lowered. It would be fantastic for a shorter rider, as it's one of the lowest bikes I've come across... comparable to my girlfriend's lowered Honda CB300f.. I would guess the seat height is no heigher than 30.5" right now as-is. You do sacrifice a tiny bit of lean angle with the full fairing and this lower setup, but this is more of a sport touring bike, anyway... and it will still hit the mountain corners just fine. There are a couple scratches and paint chips as would be expected on a bike this age, but overall it's in great condition. You can stop by and see many examples of these bikes that have gone well over 100k miles, so this engine at 6000 (currently riding it off and on to work when I'm not on my ZX14, so it will go up a little) is just broken in. It also has a brand new air filter and I just had the oil changed less than 150 miles ago, so all it needs is a rider. Other info: Compression after warming up was all within 155-165 psi on each cylinder. A little lower when cold, but it warms up quick. There is sometimes a little smoke when first warming up.. the mechanic said it was nothing to worry about and was either the seafoam I poured in the tank before taking it to him for the carb work or possibly the valve gaskets being a bit old on cold starts. Typically only happens if you let it sit for a week between rides, though. Doesn't smoke or burn any oil after 1 minutes of running when it does this, though.I'm asking 2200 obo. I know how CL can be, so I'm open to offers. Also open to a trade for an enduro/street legal dirt bike like an older Honda XL500 + cash, so let me know what you got. I already have a ZX14, otherwise I would keep this bike, but both are essentially sport touring machines and, while I LOVE FJ1100/1200's, there's just no sense in keeping both around.
