I am selling my 2003 Honda cr250r dirt bike. It has been maintained well, after every ride oil has been changed. New drive train was replaced every 6 months wether it was needed or not. Upgraded handle bars, grips, pro-circuit pipe, rear moose racing rim and bearings, after market gas cap, after market number plate, fairly new tires (front tire has a slow leak), rear fender is cracked, upgraded reeds to accommodate pro-circuit pipe, anodized break reservoir cap, anodized oil cap, anodized rear break cap, anodized chain adjusters, aluminum skid plates, aluminum radiator guards, have all original parts that go with it. I originally purchased the bike brand new from Scotts' Power Sports. If interested we can set up a time to take a look at the bike in a common place and to test it out. Adult owned 2000 CR 250R. Very desirable year. I have owned this bike 6 years and have ridden it very little. Has just been sitting the last 4 years. Always garage kept. Everything is stock just as I bought it. Never raced just ridden around the lake and down some trails. All I have done to it since I've had it was install a new black seat and black plastic. It is blacked out. Also added new kill switch and chrome colored gas cap. That's it. Recently added gas and oil cranked it up and rode it around the block a couple of times. Cranked right up and run great. I have a 4 wheeler now and that's fast enough for my old butt. Pictures coming soon. Clutch pull is butter smooth and I mean BUTTER SMOOTH... I cannot stand a hard clutch pull when I ride so I take meticulous care to lubricate the clutch pull so I can get one finger on it. You will be amazed with the clutch pull on this bike I guarantee it. The bike does NOT HAVE A TITLE. This bike is NOT STOLEN. The bike is also not Flood or Water damaged. I only clicked that in the add because I had to for ebay listing. The VIN is Clearly stamped and marked not scratched off or anything weird. That said I can assure you the bike is mine and is not stolen or anything shady going on. 1982 Honda CR250R Exceptionally Clean Perfect Restoration Project I purchased this bike two years ago with the intention of restoration. This was truly a "barn find" Honda CR250R. It has had 2 owners, still has the original tires, perfectly straight wheels, and also includes a binder of history that adds to the value of the bike.Since the CR did need a new clutch/water pump cover, I was able to obtain a perfect (mint) 1981 aluminum cover which was difficult to find. (The 1982 CR 250R came with a magnesium cover which was prone to failure). The CR had piston failure the last time it was ridden 20-25 years ago. Although I have not removed the cylinder for inspection, I would assume that the cylinder would be a good candidate for refinishing as well. The only other item the bike would need is the installation of the aluminum clutch/water pump cover which is included. The CR is fully clean, detailed, and ready for immediate delivery. Original shop manual, MSO from Honda, and a binder full of articles/tips/info from the era of moto racing is included. I will assist in any way with shipping the bike to you.
