Thank you for looking at our auction. Bike: This bike is a VERY nice 2004 Honda CRF250X. It is one of the most versatile, dependable dirtbikes ever made. The CRF250X has the right stuff to dominate the dirt. Beyond it's powerful and lightweight engine, it has dozens of smart features like works-type front and rear brakes discs, a narrow fuel tank that's easy to move around, and an 18-inch rear wheel for more flat-tire protection. In short, all the attention to detail you'd expect in a Honda. The heart of this machine is the compact and lightweight 249cc four stroke, liquid-cooled, unicam engine. It utilizes a gear-driven counterbalncer that reduces vibration and drives the water pump. Eight clutch plates provide the surface area necessary to handle the engine's massive torque, while carefully matched clutch springs provide a light feel at the lever.It's twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, eliminates clutch and transmission material contamination of the engine oil, reduces the amount of circulating oil and permits the use of a smaller oil pump. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every manufacturer out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in excellent condition. It doesn't have any odometer or hour meter on it, so we can't tell you exactly how many miles or hours are on it. What we can tell you is that this machine was bought brand new by an adult local owner who never raced it and always kept it well maintained. This is a very nice machine that hasn't been wrecked or flipped. Someone is going to get a very nice machine at a great price. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics look extremely clean. There are some trail scratches here and there as should be expected with a used bike, but there are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it obviously hasn't been wrecked or flipped. It is very hard to stress how nice this bike looks. We tried to hunt for blemishes, and couldn't really find anything. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. Up for sale is a 2005 Honda CRF 250X. The bike is in excellent condition. It was bought with 20 miles on it and barely ridden since. Original tires, brakes, seat, chain, sprockets, etc. Extremely low hours. Lightweight Shorai lithium battery!! Cranks very fast and never needs charging, even after sitting for a long time. Bike starts right up. I am selling it because I do not have time to ride. Plastic is in excellent condition with minor scratches from previous owner. Rims are nice and straight, spokes tight, no tears in seat, handgrips are perfect, tires still have decent tread on them for being original. This bike was properly maintained and runs great. Does not smoke at all and starts right up. Rental bars from factory and Enduro Engineering bark busters (barely a scratch on them). This enduro bike comes with a certificate of origin and bill of sale. Has headlight and tail light. Can be registered in some states. Plastic is in excellent condition but is of course factory and stock. Excellent condition 2005 Honda 250x. I purchased the bike from the original adult owner about four years ago. I have his original purchase receipt. He said he thought it had about 200 miles on it at the time of the sale to me. I may have put about another 200 miles on it riding close by. It was rarely ridden and still has its original tires. Its only small detractor is that the trip odometer doesn't work. It was like that when I bought it and didn't matter to me. And I noticed the front fender has just very slightly bent from leaning on another of my bikes in storage this winter. A few scuffs and light wear near the foot pegs from boots that I've tried to show in the photos, but that's about it. It comes with two trickle charge adapters installed. I put the second on so it could be charged from either side depending on where I had it stored. Note that the original owner removed the spark arrestor and baffle for better performance. When I bought the bike I bought a stock end piece that is not included with the sale. Please ask if you're interested in it. Selling because I have two smaller dirt bikes, and this one has only been ridden twice by friends in the last couple of years. Since it had been sitting I had it serviced for $250 by a professional mechanic who's the best dirt bike guy I've used to date. It needs nothing. Any questions, just ask.
