HONDA CX500 Up for sale 1979 Honda CX500. Most components on this motorcycle came from 1981 Custom Honda CX500, which includes: engine, front fork, electrics, and wheels. The engine at the time of installment had 9000 miles. Since then service was maintained as per manual. Oil filter was upgraded with an adapter to use standard car filters which can be purchased at any local automotive stores. Mechanical fan was upgraded to Ducati electric fan which can be turned on/off by a switch. Most of the work on the bike was done recently and was intended for my personal use but due to life changes, and to my dismay I have no time nor place to enjoy it now. The paint job was done with 2 component epoxy resin paint and clear coat and is tough as nails. New front fork seals and throttle cables were installed. Tires have 95 percent of life left in them. The engine has transistor ignition. All liquids ( engine oil, fork oil, antifreeze) were changed. New oil filter was just installed. New battery was installed. Front fork and rear shocks are air adjustable. New master brake cylinder was installed. Motorcycle is in excellent condition and ready to ride. Thank you for watching. Come by and check it out. It looks even better in real life. Terms of Sale Thank you for considering purchasing my motorcycle. This is a very clean 15000 mile bike. It has aftermarket Mac 2 into one exhaust,  has been dyno  tuned and rejetted carbs to match exhaust.  I have the original exhaust system,  is included if you want it. New tires about 1500 miles ago. This is an excellent running and riding classic,  you won't be disappointed.

1980 Honda CX500ccondition: like newengine displacement (CC): 500fuel: gastransmission: manualPLEASE CONTACT ME FOR MORE PICTURES. THE WEBSITE IS SAYING THEY'RE TOO LARGE TO UPLOAD!!Fresh built CX500c cafe racer!! Its time to sell my project so I can fund the next one. I started with a bone stock blown up 1980 honda CX500c and built a sleek looking very well running bike. Everything on the bike is new down to the handle bar controls. the engine has 200 miles since the rebuild and it is running very strong. The piggy back rear shocks also only have 200 miles on them and are properly adjusted for a old sporty feel. The seat is a cafe racer seat off of a cb500 that was modified to fit this bike. Most non-essiential things such as the stock H box and center stand have been removed to fit the style of the cafe racer but I have all of the stock parts which will go with the bike. Frame and other parts freshly painted a couple months ago. The mufflers are brand new and sound great! Everything works. Just replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs! This bike is an absolute blast to ride! It truly feels like a racing bike that was built in the 80's. There are too many things to list about this bike so please come take a look or contact me for further questions!!!

Innovations 670cc Parallel-Twin Engine: With its cylinders tipped 62 degrees forward for better weight distribution, the CTX700 s engine is a big step forward in modern powerplant design. The two-cylinder format produces tons of low- and mid-range torque, and the 270-degree-phase crank and uniaxial primary balancer make it smooth, too. Reduced Vibration: You don't need to rattle and shake when riding a motorcycle. The CTX700's engine counterbalancer and rubber-mounted footpegs let you enjoy the ride on your commute or on a weekend getaway. Electronic Fuel Injection: Honda s Electronic Fuel Injection means easy startups on cold mornings and flawless running even at high elevations. 41mm Fork: With 4.2 inches of travel, the CTX700 soaks up the bumps and jolts in rough pavement, but also provides excellent handling and superior feedback through the handlebar. Racing can be challenging, rewarding, heartbreaking, and intensely satisfying—all in the same weekend! It has a way of separating the best from the rest in a way everyone can see. It’ll make you dig deep and bring your best game to the gate—because you can be sure the other guy is doing just that. And racing is no different for a company, either. Our engineers have to work hard to bring you the best bikes in the class, and it’s all on the line when that start gate drops. And that’s exactly why you should be on a Honda CRF250R. The CRF250R is a finely-honed racing machine, but since it’s a Honda it’s also one of the most rider-friendly bikes you can find. Just look at how many privateers roll up to the track with a Honda in the back of their truck. Our 2017 model features a powerful, compact Unicam® engine with a high-lift cam and titanium intake and exhaust valves. The unique twin-muffler exhaust keeps the bike’s weight and center of mass symmetrical, so the handling is unmatched. A Showa® air fork makes the CRF250R easy to fine-tune at the track, and the fully adjustable Showa rear suspension likewise lets you dial the bike in fast. Wanna win? This is the bike you want to ride. The 2017 Honda CRF250R—the machine that can make it happen for you.
