This would be a great restoration candidate if you are looking for a mostly complete & original QA50. Or, ride it like it is. Original paint & seat cover. New front and rear brake shoes, new front and rear brake cables, new hand control levers, new shifter shaft seal, new fork boots,new NGK spark plug and fresh oil change with Honda GN4 oil. Fuel tank is super clean inside. Runs great, shifts great and look great!! Lots of pictures so you can see the overall condition clearly. The fuel tank has several small repairable dents. The rear fender has a very small repairable crack. Some surface rust in areas. Some scratches in the frame paint. All of these defects are very repairable and you can see all of them in the pictures. Great restoration project or a rider at a great price!! A little paint will make this bike look really good. In really good overall condition for a 40 year old bike. Up for auction is a 1972 Honda Z50 Monkey. Near excellent condition. This is not your typical old school 1972 Honda Z50. Engine/Transmission/Exhaust: Engine case halves split, transmission gears and transmission shafts in excellent condition, Kick start shaft replaced with new Honda shaft, kick start lever also replaced at the same time. all new Vesrah gaskets throughout the whole engine. All new Honda orings and Honda seals replace throughout the whole engine. New 72cc cylinder. New Honda piston and new Honda 3pc ring set. New made in Taiwan(High Quality) 72cc head installed with new Japanese valves, guides, and valves springs. Cylinder head is completely new. New 72cc intake manifold. New 72cc carburetor. New throttle cable. New throttle twist grip assembly. New Honda twist grip handlebar rubbers. New air filter. Automatic clutch completely rebuilt with new Honda friction plates and new Honda steel plates. New Vesrah heavy duty clutch springs. New Japanese points and new hot NKG spark plug. Old coil wire was cut and then spliced in with new NKG splice kit. Engine does not smoke or leak oil. New Beautifully Chromed NHRC upswept exhaust pipe and muffler. Sounds Great! Up for sale is my 1979 Honda Z50J JDM Monkey Bike. Here is a chance to own a rare Imported Monkey in the USA. This bike is complete and has been partially restored. I had the frame and swing arm powder coated the correct color of black, and the wheels and covers were powder coated silver. It runs good and seems to function well. Just bought a brand new NOS headlight lens, taillight lens, fenders, foot pegs, mirror, chain guard, and a few other parts. Also put an exact copy seat cover on it since the originals are not available anymore. Has the original Tool box and tool kit. There is some rust and pitting on the exhaust guard, and the luggage rack. The engine has not been opened up at all, it is original and un-restored. The tank and forks are in original condition, with original paint. The side cover is also original. The tank may need to be lined at some point. I really don't want to get rid of this because I have always wanted one and I don't know if I will ever find another 1979 in the States, but Nursing school is expensive and my tuition needs to be paid. Please ask me questions before you bid or buy. This is a collectors item, however it is not in perfect condition. I will be glad to post any more pictures you would like to see. It is sold with the understanding that there is still some minor restoration that needs to be done. You will most likely not find another bike like this in the USA. There is NO TITLE due to the fact that this bike was never imported to the USA. I can dismantle the bike and ship for around $100. If I dismantle the bike, You accept responsibility for reassembling the bike, and I cannot be responsible for any problems due to reassembly.
