Lovely bike, nice for market shopping or just play around neighborhood.This was the second, best and last year of this model with improvements that the regular NC50 Express never got it on, even in later 1982/1983 models. Improvements like automatic thermal choke, CVT variable Belt transmission, electronic CDI ignition, 12 V electric system, and a convenient electric starter.This is the top of the line model from Express series and last year of production, so an authentic jewel in this condition.Moped is running flawlessly ; 95% restoration Job done; I intentionally left Some little details undone so you can Have some fun too. It comes as a challenging project for fun and invested a bit more than 50 hours of my free time and lots of love (my wife was not so happy about) New spark plug and boot, new gas filter and lines, original seat, new front and rear brake cables, ignition switch with original key, fresh transmission oil, new transmission drive belt, operative oil pump system (auto-mix), New and operative 12V battery, electrical wires checked, new original headlight, original operative signal lights and mirrors, working horn, original fenders, exhaust pipe cleaned . . ., NEW front chrome cargo racket. Tires in good running conditions and original paint.As you can see, almost all already done. Start always at first attempt using electric or kick starter.This is a nostalgic kind of item, the kind of thing that bring back sweet memories from the younger years and make you smile when you ride it, . . . so really it is priceless. This is an early 1977 (1/77) Honda Express NC50 in fine running condition-PERFECT RESTORATION CANDIDATE!! The only thing wrong with this scooter is the fuel tank has multiple pin holes and leaks gas. The good: * all chrome is in very good condition * all lights work (including original headlight) * gear case has not been opened and spring loaded kick start works as it should * horn works * starts easy runs and drives great * all original cables are in excellent working order * tires are in good shape * all plastics are in good shape * all rubber moldings are in good shape * the only items missing on bike are mirrors and carb cover. * speedometer works and it has 726 originals *120 lbs compression The bad: *the fuel tank has multiple pin holes does leak when filled with gas please see pictures * the seat has a tear on rhs * rear tire needs tube as it will leak out in 24 hours * headlight housing has cracks -see pictures Buyer is to pick up or arrange shipping. This is a 1967 Honda P50 Scooter/Moped. This bike is complete, runs and drives, but does not idle too well. Carb has been rebuilt, with new jets and a replacement intake tube. The paint is very good with a few scratches, and no surface rust. Chrome is very good as well. The inside of gas tank is very good. The exhaust, including muffler is in very good condition. Seat is excellent.. Plastic parts include front and rear fenders. Battery cover and carb cover are missing. Headlight and taillight do not work, most likely bulbs need replacement. Battery is new. Tires are low mileage originals, and hold air fine. This is the last "Motor Wheel" type motorcycle produced by a major manufacturer. Its unique design-the engine is mounted on the rear left side of the bike, driving the rear wheel directly - is a design that makes this bike unique. There is no title because this doesn't need to be registered, sold on a bill of sale only.
