Gorgeous Bike. I bought it but need to pass it along because my dream bike is now available. Nice Honda SL350 build date 11/70 Within the last 50 miles/2 years, this bike has been largely restored by the gentleman I bought this and another bike from. I do NOT have a long time history with this bike. When I bought the bike a few weeks ago the bike started easily and ran, shifted, stopped etc. When I got it home, it did the same, starting on the 2nd kick.... I assume it will do the same for you... but please remember this is a 44 year old bike. Blows NO SMOKE!!, does backfire on occasion. Clutch is smooth and shifting is too. Handlebars and fork ears nice and straight Took pictures in Garage and outside to give a clearer image of vibrant color, etc This is a restoration that resulted in a real nice bike. It is NOT a world class restoration, That said..... It will save you untold hours and dollars in work..... The paint is correct candy ruby red with clear coat. It is nice paint, not perfect... but nice. Inside tank real nice. Gages correct and work I have a clean, no lien Michigan title from 1973, it was signed by it's owner, probably decades ago. Notorizing is almost a "lost art" in Michigan and there is no notary signature. This is the title you will receive. The "new owner" area is completely blank, ready for your name. If this is an issue for you for some unknown reason, please don't bid. Of course I will provide a bill of sale, or you can just use a printed copy of the e bay listing. The are NO erasures or "scratch outs" or other alterations to the title and the title matches the frame neck Pipes quite nice. I am pointing to a repair that's needed in one picture. I could have fixed in a few minutes with JBweld and some spray paint.. but the pipes on these bikes are a big deal.. so that's not fair. Bike sounds good so correct baffle must be in there. no tool kit or tool kit cover. There is factory appearing foam on the air cleaners on each side.. so all ok there side covers uncracked with all pegs in place new petcock does need a gasket leaks some oil good battery 6170 miles Chrome is very nice, not perfect.. but real darn nice espessilly the shocks. seat must be a recover as it very nice and firm Basically no nicks in frame paint. Saw pictures of the bike down to the frame and repainted. Tires older, may be original, as they appear correct but with some wear... certainly good enough to ride around the campground or go get ice cream on a summer evening. All in all a nice bike that you can show your buddies the first day you get it home, stare at it... and remember when...... Happy to work with you shipper all I can, local pick up OK. True 3 stage Candy Paint was applied after the frame was Soda Blasted to remove paint and 40 + years of grime. The rear shocks are CHP with stronger springs and the front lower forks are new and have been reworked. The bike is newly restored with 8 miles on the rebuild. Original speedo just turned 4050 but will change daily. The cases were split and anything needed was replaced. New clutch, seals and gaskets are always used. Twins and singles are the engine configurations I work on. With this custom lowered seat, almost anyone can safely touch the ground with their feet flat on the ground! This custom cafe racer is the continuation of someone else's project. The starter motor was pulled and plugged, the forks were rebuilt and reconfigured, new rear shocks were installed, the front fender/ultra strong fork brace was modified, the swing arm was paint stripped and clear coated, tubes and tires were mounted, clip-ons were installed, engine cases were polished, 2 into 1 header system was created from stock CB350 headers, front drum, front brake plate, front sprocket cover, and rear brake plate had been drilled for cooling, stainless steel Allen head screw conversion installed, new headlight ears mounted, tapered steering stem bearing upgrade installed, and a few other items before I laid hands on it. I added the rear set configuration for both shifting and rear brake, wired the electrical system with modern solid state rectifier, added the cafe seat, added the invisible battery, installed the integrated turn signals with the mirrors and tail light, installed the new halogen headlamp, throttle cable, front brake cable, custom length clutch cable, POR-15 lined fuel tank, VHT epoxy painted tank in matte finish, balanced the wheels, rebuilt the carburetors, tuned up the engine, replaced the drive chain, added the polished aluminum velocity stacks, rebuilt and polished the horn, new kicker rubber, new brake and shifter arms with rear sets, new rear tank rubber mount, Notice the trending void behind the engine by having removed the battery, battery box, side covers, air filters, etc... All color has been removed from the bike leaving only black and metal. Turn signals LEDs are amber, brake and tail lights are red, but only when activated through the smoke lenses. The CL350 Honda was first created in 1968 and every Scrambler came with the traditional Darth Vader tank through the last one produced in 1973. Star Wars was not released until 1977. You take a look at the tail of the CL350 tank and do the math. Darth Bike is a radical ride without the benefit of electric start. I hope to have a lady CB200 rider start the bike in the video to be produced when completed and ready for the photoshoot as well. Will be edited in after her visit.
