I've owned this bike for the past 20 years. Garage kept and only seen rain a couple of times. Maintenance & maintenance intervals per Honda OEM service manual. The only blemishes are a dent underneath the right hand exhaust pipe that is not noticeable unless you get on your back and look up at it, the other is a deep scratch behind the main kick stand where your foot is placed to push the stand down. The bike runs great. No issues at all, Serious inquires only, Buyer is responsible for local pickup, Certified bank check or cash

This is the last one time list and price for $750, this is a great deal. This is a 1983 Honda V65 Magna with less than 34,000 miles. Bike is in fair to good condition. Runs good but it doesn't get fire to the fuel pump through the relay. Has new fuel pump, relay, fuel line, and battery. It's a good bike, just tired of working on it.

BOUGHT FROM A FRIEND THAT HAD THE BIKE IN INSIDE STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS. PLANNED TO CONVERT IT INTO A BOBBER STYLE MOTORCYCLE BUT NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT. I RODE THIS BIKE TO AND FROM THE TRAIN EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS. ONLY 1.0 MILES AWAY. JUST BOUGHT A CAR AND MAKING ROOM IN THE GARAGE FOR CAR # 2.I PAINTED IT WITH BLACK MAT PLASTI DIP WHICH PEELS OFF EASILY. ALSO, I CHANGED THE HANDLE BARS. IF YOU WANT ORIGINAL PARTS I STILL HAVE THEM. STARTS RIGHT UP & RUNS GREAT! AWESOME ENGINEERING. Honda V65 Magna Claimed power: 116hp @ 9,500rpm Top speed: 137mph (period test) Engine: 1,098cc liquid-cooled DOHC 90-degree V4 Weight: 618lb (wet) Price then/now: $3,898/$2,000-$4,000Landmark. Watershed. Call it what you will, Honda’s 1983 V65 Magna marked a major departure in motorcycle design. For the first time, a Japanese motorcycle maker’s fastest, most powerful motorcycle had pull-back handlebars and its footpegs well in front of the seat. The Power Cruiser had been born.Sure, Harley-Davidson had been making foot-forward cruisers just about forever, and Yamaha had introduced the “special” stepped-seat, beach-bar look in the late Seventies, but it was Big Red that put serious power in the picture. The Honda V65 Magna was built around a 65ci double overhead cam V4 that delivered more than 100 horsepower to the back wheel, propelling the muscular missile to sub-11-second standing quarters at nearly 125mph.Not every pilot could pull off that party-piece, though. A 45/55 front-to-rear weight bias and laid-back riding position meant keeping the front wheel down was a challenge. And if the road threw you a curve, the lazy 30-degree rake, 63-inch wheelbase and light front end meant vague steering and a tendency to run wide. With the rider’s weight mainly butt-supported, road imperfections could jar the spine, while dialing back the fully adjustable twin shocks invited jacking from the shaft final drive. And although the thrust of the big V4 was seductive, it wasn’t all plain sailing: In city riding, Cycle magazine’s March 1983 test found a combination of too much driveline lash and under-damped CV carbs made for a “low-speed, jerk and lurch routine.” Even so, Cycle said it was the engine that was by far “the V65’s best feature, and motorcyclists who buy the V65 on looks will quickly find themselves enchanted by the 1100’s performance.” The source of this excitement was a 1,098cc liquid-cooled, 90-degree V4 with four overhead camshafts. Each pair of camshafts was driven from the center of the four-main-bearing crank by its own chain, opening four valves per cylinder at a narrow (for the time) 38-degree included angle via screw-adjustable rockers. Primary drive was by straight-cut gears using a split gear on the crankshaft to reduce lash and gear noise and a semi-slipper, diaphragm-spring clutch that allowed half of the plates to release during over-aggressive downshifting. A 6-speed gearbox (five plus overdrive, said Honda) drove the back wheel via two bevel gears and a shaft. The powerhouse breathed through four 36mm Keihin CV carbs drawing from an airbox set in a recess cut into the gas tank. This compromised fuel space, requiring a second tank hidden under the seat and fed by an electric pump. Not surprisingly, perhaps, all this performance and complexity came at a price: Ridden enthusiastically, the Magna’s fuel consumption could drop into the low 30s, and with just 4.5 gallons of fuel in both tanks (and no fuel gauge or reserve tap — just a low-fuel warning light) an unprepared rider could get caught short — including Cycle World’s April 1983 tester, who found out the hard way and had to push the big brute home.

Excellent condition 1983 Honda Interceptor, the first and original sport bike. www.motorcycleclassics.com/classic-japanese-motorcycles/honda-vf750f-interceptor-zm0z12mjzbea.aspx If you are looking for an '83, you know how rare these have become, and how hard it's gonna be to find one in this condition again. This one took Best-In-Show in 2011 at Dell's Honda pre-1990 vintage and classic bike show. Runs great, no issues at all, clear title and Autocheck, and VERY low original miles. Kerker exhaust is original old school original modification. Seat was redone with a memory foam and 30-below vinyl. This is a 3 owner bike, I was a good friend of the bikes 2nd owner, he bout it in 1992 and I bought it 15 years later is 2007. I replaced the wheel bearings, chain and sprocket set, had the carbs tuned, and regular maintenance like plugs, fluids, battery (2012) and tires (2011). There are a couple of cosmetic flaws as seen in the pictures but the tank flaws are covered by the Targa tank cover. Don't let this one get away. Payment due within 7 days. Pickup due within 14 days. Easily shipped using the eBay program. Don't hesitate to ask any questions, or contact me regarding purchasing or shipping. I appreciate all the comments on the bike but I would appreciate it if questions were limited to serious buyers.

Up for sale is a 1983 Honda Magna V45. The reason for selling this motorcycle is because I believe that there is an electrical problem. Last summer I had noticed that there were a few wires that had burned up and melted. I became concerned with having an electrical fire at some point. I have only ridden it once since the 4th of July last year, and that was when I winterized it. On the 4th of July last year one of the wires for the starter solenoid had melted. All that happened at the time was I rode it shut it off for a few minutes and when I went to start it again there wasn't any power to anything. Once I found the problem I was able to move the plug a little and get power to start it and ride it home. But I have been afraid to ride it since. I am guessing maybe a voltage regulator but I don't really know, I didn't have it looked at. The bike does start, run, and drive. Last summer I thought the bike was running at its best performance in the 6 years that I have owned it. It should start and run just as well as it did last year. I winterized it last fall, drained all gas from the carburetors and removed the battery. All that needs to be done is put the battery back in, turn the gas on, turn the key and go. THIS MOTORCYCLE WILL BE SOLD AS IS NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I will not part bike out sold as a whole unit. The bad things about the bike: *Cobbled together speedometer (original speedometer broke). *Left side cover is broken a little. *Motor has a slight lifter tick to it. *Seat has a very little tear on a bottom corner just above the left side cover. *Chrome is dull *Turn signals on the right hand side are the originals and are in tough shape. I had replaced them all around but the bike tipped over on me once and the turn signals didn't cope well with it. *The bike has I figure about 53,000 miles on it. The original speedometer had broken at 50,100 miles. I think the speedometer that is on the motorcycle had about 3,000 miles on it when I put it on this bike (it now has 6,000). The good things about the bike: *Transmission work flawlessly. *No dents in the gas tank. *Front forks were rebuilt last spring ($250). I only put a few hundred miles on the rebuilt forks. *Ignition switch was replaced. *Starter solenoid was replaced. *Front tire is like new (maybe a few thousand miles on it). *Rear tire is maybe at like half tread. *Battery is a high quality dry cell battery, I think I spent like $70 for it a few years ago now. I am open to answering any questions to the best of my ability. I am open to any offers you have for the motorcycle. If you are interested and want to see the motorcycle in person I will try my best to work around your schedule. Shipment for the motorcycle is buyer pickup only. Any other form of shipment is buyers responsibility. Buyer will need to pay $250 within 48 hours of final sale. The remaining sum can be paid thru Paypal or in person upon pickup. No personal checks will be accepted. PAYPAL, CASH, OR MONEY ORDER ONLY!!!! Please email me with any questions before buying. Thank You for looking.

1984 Honda Magna V30 VF500C 4,921 Miles, 500 cc, Red Clear title in hand Needs carburetor rebuild Mechanic confirmed functionality of engine, brakes, etc This is a 1984 Honda Magna V30 motorcycle, model VF500C, with a 500 cc engine (technically 498 cc). My father bought this bike in 1991 with 4,408 miles on it. In seven years, he put barely 500 miles on it. He died in 1998 and I've had the bike in my garage ever since. I have the clean title in hand. My motorcycle mechanic neighbor evaluated the bike earlier this year. With a new battery, he confirmed that the engine turns over, gas pump works, brakes work, and other systems work fine. However, the carburetor has become gummed up and must be rebuilt. In the right hands, this bike could get repaired and finally get back on the road. The bike body is in very good condition. It has always been garaged during the 23 years it has been in my family. There is some light tarnish on some chrome and metal. There is one small dent on the gas tank. Otherwise, the bike is free from scratches, dents, and other damage. Local pickup and in-person evaluation at my home in north west New Jersey can be arranged. I'm an hour west of New York City and an hour north of Philadelphia. Buyer is responsible for any shipping or transportation arrangements if not picked up in person. Contact me with any questions.
