This bike needs a home where it will be enjoyed. I don't have time to ride anymore so it needs to go. No shipping, local pickup or you can arrange shipping on your own. Up for auction is a 1984 Honda V65 Magna VF1100C. I do not know too much about its history. The person I bough it from was selling it with a parts bike. I was only interested in the parts bike, but they were only being sold together. Other than draining the old gas and putting in new gas and changing the oil, I have not done anything with the bike. It does start up, idle, run, and drive. It most definitely needs the carburetors cleaned, as it runs rough. The brakes work, but the rear is a little sticky. There is some corrosion on the chrome and aluminum. There is a crack in the right side cover (see pics) that looks repairable and the gas tank is dented on the right side (see picture). The right side muffler leaks where it connects to the main baffle. The oil light is on in the one picture because only the ignition is on in the picture. The oil light is not illuminated when running. The bike would be a great restoration candidate or a plethora of parts. I have a clear NJ title for it. This could be made road worthy. Please ask any questions before bidding. You are welcome and encouraged to come view the bike in person before bidding. It is located in Newton, NJ 07860. Please realize that this bike is currently not what I would consider road worthy. It seems to be all there but I have not gone over it in detail nor am I an expert on them. Please bid accordingly. 1985 Honda VF1100C V65 MagnaThis is the bike that changed everything.I got this bike a couple years ago from California. I got it from the original owner who bought it in 1985, rode it for a season and parked it in a garage for the next 25 years. Since I've owned it I have cleaned out the fuel system and replaced all hoses, cleaned out brake lines and master cylinders and replaced brake pads, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, replaced the fork seals and steering stem bearings, sanded and polished most of the aluminum, fixed some faulty wiring, installed a Corbin seat, superbike bars, LED tail lights, and a stainless steel fork stabilizer. It comes with saddlebags, the original stock seat, sissy bar, 6 pack rack, 2 Rifle fairings (a project I never got around to), 2 small windshields, one smoked one clear. I have a brand new rear tire that I haven't put on yet and I probably have an extra oil filter or two kicking around. I also have a spare set of carbs, some other spare parts and the shop manual. This bike is worth $3k any day of the week, reasonable offers will be accepted. Terms of Sale Overview We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings. Payment Methods Certified check and bank wire transfer. We accept PayPal and credit cards (VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover) only for deposits, documentation fees, and vehicle details. If buyer is outside of the continental United States of America, payment will only be accepted by bank wire transfer. Fees Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. We charge a $149 documentation fee for all buyers. Payment Terms The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit and a $149 documentation fee within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 4 business days of the close of the auction. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. If buyer is outside of the continental United States of America, the buyer must pay a $150 international documentation fee in addition to the regular $149 documentation fee. The Internet Car Lot, Inc. does an independent inspection of the vehicle's current condition and we do our best job to describe any defects or imperfections. All mileage we list in our auctions is what was currently displayed on the vehicles odometer at the time of our listing unless otherwise known. For exempt mileage titled vehicles, the mileage on our auction will read what is currently displayed on the vehicles odometer unless otherwise known.
