Hello, fellow riders! It is with mixed emotions that I am listing my 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate. I love this bike, but I have to pay for graduate school soon. So, without further ado, here is her story: I bought her from a dealer in Boulder, Colorado in May 2000. The original owner put on 2,800 miles before trading in for an 1800 Goldwing. In the past 15 years I have averaged less than 2,500 miles/year for a total of 37,544. When not being ridden or washed the bike has been garaged or in my motorcycle trailer for its entire life. No engine modifications: her six cylinders and 1500 ccs have gotten me everywhere I needed to go. I have added the following over the past several seasons: Passenger arm rests (not pictured)6-disc CD player with dashboard controllerAux cord for MP3 playerKuryaken grips and highway pegsMustang saddle with backrestProtective bra on fairingTank bag with pocketRear speakers And chrome, chrome, chrome! Never dropped or wrecked. I have most of the maintenance records with the most recent work being: brand new battery (today); replaced choke cable (2015); replaced front fork seals and water pump (2013). Tires are in great shape. This baby is ready to ride! Cosmetically she is in decent shape, especially for a 16 year-old bike. As this bike was actually ridden and not just for show, the whole thing could use a wax job and some chrome polish. You may enjoy removing the engine covers and giving it a deep cleaning. The rubber gaskets for the aftermarket trunk rack and saddle bag racks are cracking. The chrome oil filter cover is pitted and could be polished or replaced. The left turn signal works but the left amber running light stopped working recently for some unknown reason. While not pictured, the antenna is included (I just take it off before putting it in the trailer). The kickstand is scuffed and has some rust. I recently purchase a 1999 Ford F-350 on Ebay for $10,000. The seller did not disclose some of the truck's issues and I have dropped another $4,000 into it. Needless to say, I am pretty sensitive to the issue of full disclosure! I believe I have disclosed all of the known issues of this fine machine. Please let me know what questions you have.I am under a tight timeline but may be able to trailer the bike to Salt Lake City or Las Vegas. This bike is a full-dress touring model of the 6 cylinder, 1500 cc Honda Valkyrie. The engine is a higher-horsepower version of the legendary Gold Wing GL1500, with a beautiful chrome presentation instead of being hidden under plastic. I have owned the bike since it was 6 months old with 2,400 miles on it. Many trips to many places and always reliable, including a trouble-free ride to the top of Mt. Washington in NH in early August 2015! As you can see from the pictures it looks great for its age and (currently) 99,300 miles; the bike still draws compliments most every time I ride it. All electronics including CB, AM/FM and intercom work. It is fine mechanically with the exception that it needs a new right front fork seal and the front brake pads replaced due to fork oil getting on them. July 2015 Motorcycle Consumer News lists the 2001 model of this bike (oldest year they reported) at a value of $6455 without the $2500 worth of extras I have added, including the CB, Hondaline and Kuryakyn chrome items and wind deflectors, etc. If you are familiar with the GL1500 line you know how reliable the drivetrain is; with proper care this bike should take its next owner many miles. Invest in the fork seal repair and you’ll have a bike that does most everything my new $28K Gold Wing does at a small fraction of the price and (IMHO) looks even better!

This 2000 Honda Valkyrie Interstate (GL1500CF) is about as loaded as possible.More chrome than you could ever imagine and in almost perfect condition.It's STUNNING. It's really that nice. The bike literally drips with chrome. I'm convinced that every piece ever made for the Valkyrie in chrome is on this bike. And even some I havenever seen before. I'll say it one last time. IT'S A STUNNING BIKE. Mileage is relatively low too. Just turned 40085 on an engine that is famous for going 200k and more and still be running strong. And the bike was religiously maintained. Tires are in good condition. And the rest of the bike speaks for itself. Look at the condition of this bike.It's Amazing. Even the ventilation outlets are chrome. I've never seen that before and they look great. The first and major owner of the bike was a mature woman who babied the bike and rodevery conservatively and spent $1000's in making the bike beautiful. So you won't have to. And the bike spent it's entire life in dry dry Las Cruces, New Mexico and El Paso, TX so it's totally rust free. Seats are in perfect condition and by the way this is one of the few Interstates that actually has rear speakers for a 4 speakersetup. All of them had the rear speaker housing but only about 2 out of 10 had the optional and expensive rear speakersinstalled. This is one of those rare bikes. 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate Super Valk, This bike has it all, It is Black has a mustang seat on it (also have the original). It is set up for the Super Valk, where the trunk is removable, yet still has the tail light in back, It also has a trailer hitch with wiring, bike runs great and looks very nice, I usually use this bike all the time and my Harleys end up sitting, It is that nice to ride. It has a stereo with front and rear speakers. I also have a drivers backrest for it, along with owners and service manual. If you have any questions on it, do not hesitate to ask, this bike will only continue to appreciate, It is a Goldwing without all the plastic. Buy it before I change my mind. Really nice Bike!!!!!!!!!!!! KBB VALUE AT $7400 WITH average miles being about 90,000 If you know anything at all about a Valkyrie it can go to 100K without anything but oil, plug change and tires. will need timing belt at 100K but that's a simple fix but most motors will go well over 200K with just NORMAL maintenance. Runs perfect!! I bought this bike and a Honda Shadow few years ago, so my son and I could ride together once he graduated from high school. We had a great time riding together and took many memorable road trips. The Shadow has since bitten the dust and the son has moved out of state. This is a wonderful bike but I am not a solo rider. Rather than putting a few miles on it season after season, I am selling it. If you want a large bike that is powerful, comfortable and well balanced, the Valkyrie is it - it is made for the open road. The bike was built in the USA in Marysville, Ohio. Since the bike was released in 1999; that means it has probably been ridden for at least 15 years. There are bound to be minor scratches and dings on the bike, but there is nothing so large or bad that it is really noticeable. There is no rust, that I have ever noticed, and it has been well cared for its entire life. This bike was featured in the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club’s 2012 calendar (November). If you have a particular concern/pet peeve for a specific spot that is not already included in the picture folio included with the ad, let me know and I will take a picture of that spot. I know I am at least the second owner, there may have been more – but I have no way of knowing and she won’t talk. Extras… Starting from the front of the bike and walking around it…Genuine Valkyrie bra on the nose of the bike, protects it (pix with and braless).Short tinted windshield (also comes with tall windshield)Both wheels are powder coated. Gives bike a less over chromed more muscled look.Avon tires have few miles on them.Pods in the front hold halogen lights, to put more light on the road at night.Highway pegs, adjustableAdjustable air deflectors, helps direct airflow on/away from the rider.Both valve covers are powder coated. Here is a low mileage Valk that needs nothing but someone that will use it. I purchased this from the original owner in 2010.I put on a bunch of goodies such as the ultimate seat and passenger backrest,Curtis Bailey windshield and a bunch of top shelf chrome goodies.The bike is all stock as far as mechanical. I have the stock seat and windshield.There really is not much to say because I am sure if your looking at this Valkyrie then you have done your homework.Please call Steve at 845-863-6327 with all your questions-do not email please!!
