The precise 6-speed gearbox is mated to a new Brembo hydraulic clutch for smooth shifting, while the Brembo calipers and new disc brakes guarantee superior stopping power and maximum feeling. Features May Include: ENGINE Strong torque is delivered across an extremely wide rev range in a smooth and effortless surge all the way to the 12,000 rpm rev limit. Peak power of 46hp from the 350cc, 28.5kg engine puts the FE 350 on the same level as bigger 450cc competitors. The 57.5 mm stroke and 88mm bore allow for large diameter valves. The 36.3mm titanium intake and 29.1mm exhaust valves weigh only 22.4g and 22.7g each respectively, and are operated by DLC coated finger followers. With a maximum output of 58 hp, the FX350 has a 450 rivaling power to weight ratio while retaining the light, agile handling of 250 class machines. This is matched with an advanced electronics package featuring launch control, switchable engine maps and traction control resulting in a versatile, high performance package. Include a larger 6 speed transmission, large fuel capacity and an 18 inch rear wheel and the FX 350 is perhaps the greatest offroad machine ever created by Husqvarna. Engine The 350 cc DOHC engine weighs in at only 60 pounds and has a maximum power output of 58 hp. The engine is specifically designed with performance, weight and mass centralization as key criteria. As a result, all shaft arrangements have been positioned to allow oscillating masses to occupy the ideal center of gravity while all parts are engineered to offer the best possible performance while adding the least possible weight. Cylinder Head The FX350 features the same DOHC design as the FC 350 with polished camshafts and DLC coated finger followers reducing friction and improving overall performance. Added to the design are larger titanium valves (36.3 mm intake and 29.1 mm exhaust) which allow the engine to rev freely to the 13,400 rpm ceiling. Cylinder and Piston The 88mm bore and 57.5mm stroke cylinder features a large diameter and lightweight forged bridged box type piston by CP. As a result, the relatively low oscillating masses deliver exceptional power, high revs and a very wide power band. The compression ratio is 14:1. Crankshaft A superior quality crankshaft is at the heart of the high output, high revving FX350 engine.
