This is a 1990 Kawasaki Concours sport touring motorcycle that is in excellent condition for any bike, but especially for one of its age and mileage. Removable locking saddlebags with color matching panels for when the bags are off. I have been over this bike many times cleaning and waxing it I and still have to struggle to find any imperfections in the paint. Paint is stock factory color for 1990, Candy Persimmon Red. It is as nice as it looks in the pictures. You will not be disappointed. Has just had a fresh oil change less than 100 miles ago with Kawasaki full synthetic oil and Kawasaki filter. All maintenance services recently completed including valves adjusted, timing chain tensioner adjusted, rear end fluid changed, carbs synched. Starts and rides great. New battery. Absolutely no mechanical issues. No leaks, doesn't smoke. Tires are not brand new but still have plenty of rubber left on them. Steel braided brake lines. Windshield is cracked on both corners around the mounting screws that hold it on due to someone tightening the screws too much. Windshield is still mounted tight on bike and this does not affect you when riding in any way. Clear title in hand. Local pickup only. $500 due via paypal within 48 hours of auction close. The remaining balance due through paypal, cash or cashiers check at time of pick up. Bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the bike sells. Up for auction is a 2002 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concours that is damaged. We took photos of the bike and its damage. The bike went down on the left and damaged the fairing on the left side. There is some damage to the handlebar end and controls (mirror, etc.). We do our best to describe any damage so If you have any questions please feel free to ask and inspections are welcome. This motorcycle is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty. We have done our best to describe the motorcycle so if you have any questions at all, please contact us first before bidding or buying. We do not offer a guarantee that the frame or chassis is straight. We do not guarantee that the battery will be charged, most of the motorcycles we handle have dead or dying batteries and require a battery to start. We are open during general business hours and this bike can be inspected at any time but please call to make arrangements so we can move it out for inspection. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We can arrange to have the motorcycle crated and delivered to port for export for an additional cost. If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the bike a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete. If the vehicle is sold to a buyer outside of California, we will provide the salvage certificate and bill of sale. The motorcycle must be arranged to be transported by certified transport company to an address outside of California to avoid paying sales tax. If you are an out of state buyer and pick the vehicle up from our address, you will be required to pay sales tax. It is not legal to ride this motorcycle on any California roads until its registered so please done ask if you can fly in and ride it home. For Sale 2003 Kawasaki Concours ZG1000A, The Connie is in excellent condition and a very dependable ride. It has under 37000 miles on it and lots of touring extras including; Givi E45 Monokey luggage case, Heli Adjustable Handlebars, Rifle Windscreen, USB GPS power port, and peg lowering kit (not currently installed). The Connie runs great and has plenty of power for one or two up touring. Has been well maintained and garage kept. The standard saddle bags are also in excellent condition. The Concours is a great touring bike set up with ample power, comfort, good wind protection and the removable luggage makes hotel check-in’s really easy. The only imperfection on this bike is a burnished right side muffler where the previous owner got a bit too aggressive trying to remove the melted shoe residue (shown in pictures). 1998 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concourse, Affordable Sport Tour Bike!!! The Kawasaki ZG1000, known as Concours, is a 1000 cc, six speed, four cylinder, liquid-cooled sport touring motorcycle with shaft drive. The bike can reach speeds over 120 mph, It offers nimble handling and with its full fairing, tall screen, twin locking saddle bags, large 7.5 Gallon fuel capacity is suited to cross-country two-up touring. Kawasaki introduced the Concours in 1986, {this one is a 1998} based on their Ninja 900 and Ninja 1000R models. Key differences between the Ninja 1000R and the ZG1000 a touch smaller carburetors, less aggressively ramped cams, shaft drive, front and rear sub-frames, hard luggage, and full fairing. It was a sport bike that was by the factory converted to a Sport Touring bike. The Concours was introduced into the USA the year after the slightly faster BMW K100LT at less than two-thirds the price of the BMW machine. Both bikes were tested by the magazine Motorcyclist, which came out in favor of the Kawasaki concluding that it was "the most practical, useful and competent motorcycle made" and "superior to the BMW in almost every aspect imaginable. Those works were spoken by "Motorcycle" magazine!! We did replace the rear tire, and rear brakes, at the same time we did a complete service to it too. Its ready to ride!!! Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale. Once we are through with our thorough inspections and cleanings and the bike has been approved for sale, we photograph it from all angles.
