The Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Drifter is a fuel-injected shaft driven motorcycle cruiser created in the classic style lines of the 1940s Indian Chief. Kawasaki built this model between 1999 and 2005. Although Kawasaki won't say how many were built, it is believed that the number is somewhere around 9,000. That's the 800 and 1500 versions combined, world wide. So they are not very common. For sale is my 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 1500, black with just over 11,000 miles. This bike is loaded with chrome and some custom features. Features include Beach bars (handlebars) with risers, driving/passing lights, indian light on fender, chrome radiator cover, relocated rectifier (relocated under the radiator with chrome cover), highway bars with highway pegs, driver and passenger floorboards, chrome dome cover over speedometer, chrome tank bib, Bates vintage hard saddlebags with turn signal, running, and brake lights with controls for different lighting scenarios, additional LED running, brake, and turn signal lights, lay down license plate frame, power commander, whitewall tires, Vance&Hines Longshot exhaust converted to duals Kuryakyn premium ISO grips with throttle assist and stiletto end caps. Stock rear turn signals were taken off and replaced with indian drifter medallion for a custom look. Bike has one small dent on top of tank and a couple of small dents in exhaust (as shown in pictures). It also has a few small scratches you would expect to find on a 12 year old bike. I do not have to sell this bike but since all the work is done on this one I am thinking it might be time for a new toy. You can buy a cheaper Drifter but it won't have all of the features, chrome, or low miles this one has, features that are for the most part obsolete now and hard if not impossible to find. If you like to ride, this a smooth riding bike with power for the road. Serious inquires only please.
