2005 Kawasaki KLX300R, All - Day Trail Bike - The KLX300R off-road motorcycle is the four-stroke equivalent of Kawasaki's own venerable KDX200. It features a KDX-style chassis for precise handling, plush suspension, comfortable ergonomics for all-day trail rides and its four-stroke engine provides a smooth powerband for traction on the most difficult trails. Designed to be ultra-compact, the KLX300R motorcycle's liquid-cooled 292cc engine features dual overhead cams activating four valves atop an Electrofusion-coated aluminum cylinder, which is wear resistant. The engine is wrapped in a high-tensile steel perimeter frame based on the design of Kawasaki's championship-winning KX motocross bikes. A 26.5-degree steering angle and short wheelbase contribute to quick handling characteristics. The KLX300R comes fully loaded with equipment to handle the rigors of trail riding, and is covered by a six-month limited warranty. Standard items include headlight and taillight, odometer, sidestand, hand guards to fend off brush, snail-type chain adjusters for quick rear-wheel removal and adjustment of the O-ring chain, a U.S. Forest Service-approved spark arrestor, and a large fuel tank with reserve petcock.

2007 Kawasaki KLX300R was purchased from Hamilton Yamaha in December of 2011. I ride street bikes mainly now so have decided to let this go. Bike is in excellent condition with minor crack in plastic around headlight (was there before I purchased) and has small blemish on the rear of the seat. The bike has never been dropped. It was never put in the dirt and has less than five miles ridden while I've owned it. It was only ridden around the neighborhood. The bike has also been kept indoors in our motorcycle shop/room during winter months. Bike was at East Coast Powersports in Lawrence, NJ, in January of this year for maintenance and tune-up (can provide receipt for this as well). Has an FMF Powercore exhaust ($400) and new grips. The bike has a clear title, comes with a stand, and manuals. I also have the clutch and brake lever guards (took them off when putting on new grips). This is really a great bike and can also be modified and registered for street use.
