For sale a 1977 Kawasaki Rickman (registered as Rickman) turbo cafe racer. Only 250 miles since an older grounds up total restoration. Second place winner in the "Cycle World" Motorcycle Show in the Specials category. The pictures will show how exceptional, probably one of a kind it is, but here is a list of some of the the highlites: The engine was built by Dale Walker from HP Holeshot Performance. It has the 1395 cc low compression Wiseco turbo kit. Welded crankshaft, undercut transmission gears, dyna S ignition, stainless valves, APE clutch kit and a long list of other heavy duty engine parts to complete the rebuild. GCB Italian upside down Superbike racing forks, with magnesium triple clamps from "Storz Performance. Progressive 17000 series adaptive rear shocks. Ohlins steering damper with custom machined mounts. HP- Holeshot Performance front brake discs with 4 piston calipers. Lockheed Racing front brake master cylinder. HRC (Hahn Raceraft) tuned and overhauled Rajay turbo to match the engine characteristics. HPC coating on the exhaust headers- will not turn color. Mr. Turbo water injection kit. SS Super G "Shorty" carburetor. Blue powder coated engine covers. Many other custom machined and polished details, like the handle bar mounted mirror/turn signal detail, the front brake caliper mounts etc. Extra instruments in the fairing. The fiberglass tank was double epoxy coated inside recently, no fuel leaks. The only reason i am selling it is that the riding position is so radical, that i can't sit on it even parked in my garage. Rickman assembly manual a complete set of chain adjuster disks and some other spares like brake caliper rebuild kits, brake pads are included.

This ’78 Kawasaki Z1RTC Molly Graphics is one of only 250 made and sold through Kawasaki dealers. This bike is in excellent original condition, and has been perfectly maintained, and is stored in air conditioned comfort. Everything works perfectly as it should, except the fuel gauge. I believe those senders are available from Z1enterprises. Less than 200 miles on new tires. I have owned this low vin# Z1RTC since January 2009, and it has been titled in my name since then. It now has 9,975 miles. I bought it with 8,335 miles on the clock at the January 2009 Las Vegas Mid America auction, at the height of the recession. I added the Proxibid page from the auction lot in the photos section, showing the description from Mid America. In the 1,600 miles I have ridden it since then, I have added the Mikuni (stock carb and filter included in the sale), changed the oil, and replaced the tires about 200 miles ago. It comes with the ownership history trail, including registration documents and titles showing the previous owner bought it in 2003 with 8,249 miles, and the owner before him with 7,900 miles. It also includes the original Turbo Cycle registration and purchaser certification documentation from original purchase in 1979, as well as copies of title/registration paperwork for myself, and the 2 previous owners before me. Also included is the original owners handbook, Turbo supplement book, tool pouch and original set of 2 keys Options include the original ATP Stage 2 welded crank, and the ATP deep sump oil pan and Mikuni HSR42 carb with proper jetting. Original carb and airfilter included with the sale. The Mikuni solves all of the rough idle and mixture issues of the stock carb, and makes it much easier to ride around at normal speeds. See photos for how it looks with original triangular airfilter and current circular airfilter on the Mikuni Also included in the sale: ATP sales brochure, ATP wholesale and retail product catalogs, Turbo Cycle Corp Z1RTC sales brochure (too funny), Period magazine articles, Rayjay Turbos Maintenance and overhaul manual, hard copy of Motorcycle Classics magazine in which it was featured in Jan/Feb 2013 issue (see photos). Do search at Motorcycle classics website for ‘Z1RTC’ for the story. Mileage in those photos taken summer 2012 was 8,527.Winner ‘Best Japanese Motorcycle’ June 2012 Eastside Classic MC show in Austin TX. Nominated and shown at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, Austin TX 2015. As Cycle Guide said in April ’79 issue (photocopy included) “There’s just one sensible thing to do with a Kawasaki Z1R TC II turbo-chain it to your floor and feed it a little raw meet now and then. Little children and puppydogs will do nicely. When the moon is full, you might want to exercise the turbo a little, but always on a very short leash. It’s not intended to mix in polite society. As any Lon Chaney Jr. movie attests, average citizens break out pitchforks when they’re confronted with a werewolf. Just imagine their reaction to a 135 mph flame belching, tire smoking werewolf."As Motorcyclist Magazine said in August 1978: (copy included) The boost needle rose slowly at first, then progressively faster, then all hell broke loose inside the engine. As if catapulted from a carrier deck, the Z1R leaped forward at a frightening pace, with the tach needle hurrying toward the redline. The pull on the handlebars became more than a ski-slope rope tow, and seemed to double, and then quadruple as boost pressure increased. In an instant, the speedo needle flashed by the 100 mark, the tach needle had surged into the red zone and the boost gauge was jiggling near 8 pounds of pressure, its preset limit. Against a force which literally pinned his body rearward, Ken slapped the clutch leaver engaging 4th gear and within a second the speedo jumped to an alarming 120 mph, the tach had again swung into the red, and the road turned into streaks of indistinguishable color. When jerking the gearbox into 5th, Ken had expected, and somewhat hoped, that the acceleration would taper off, but the turbo showed no mercy-the handlebars were pulling, the wind was pushing, the noise was deafening and the sensation extra terrestrial. With terror embossed on his eyeballs, he watched the speedo skyrocket to an indicated 145 mph, where he finally called it quits, exhausted from the tremendous surge of acceleration Local pickup, or ship at your own cost. I will deliver to a Austin TX area shipping dock, but organizing shipping is buyer’s responsibility. $500 deposit by paypal in 24 hours of auction end, and full payment due in 7 days, by certified bank check/money order. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking.

MAKE US AN OFFER!! YOU NEVER KNOW!! We've had this really nice Kawasaki ZX750-E2 Turbo in our collection for about 10 years. We've decided to sell it so here's your chance to own a nice own a really nice low mileage and mostly original super bike from 1985. This bike is wicked fast!! Everything electrical on it works as new. The tank is like new inside. Original exhaust. Original seat cover. Paint is original except the front fairing which has been repainted at some time. Really nice survivor bike as is or a perfect restoration candidate. This spring it had a Honda GN4 oil change, new oil filter and a new sealed battery. Front and rear brake systems have been evacuated and new Dot 3 fluid has been added. Front and rear brake pads were replaced. New front and rear tires this spring have less than 100 miles on them. It starts right up, shifts smoothly through all 5 gears and is wicked wicked fast!! Overall exceptional condition for it's age of 30 years. Google "Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo" and you will get lots of info on this rare vintage classic. Built in 6/84, this is the 80th 1985 ZX750-E2 produced. The ZX750 had a design flaw with the turbo system and this one was no different. Also this spring we replaced the original Hitachi H-10 Turbo with a replacement turbo system from Mr. Turbo at a cost of almost $2000 for the parts. They are the gurus on turbos for bikes. Visit their website and you will see. The T-25 Garrett replacement kit from them fits with minimal modifications and the OEM look is retained. The original Hitachi turbo produced 11 pounds of boost. The Garrett Turbo is at 12 pounds and is easily adjustable to 30 pounds of boost. Further modifications are required to maintain boost over 13 pounds. Mr. Turbo can help you with these modifications. You won't need them. This bike is fast fast as is!! The original Hitachi turbo will go to the new owner with the "Buy It Now" option. The plastic rear fender is cracked (no pieces missing) at both rear turn signals. The windshield has a small crack at one of the mounting bolts. This bike has a battery fluid level warning system when the battery electrolyte is low. We used a sealed battery so the warning light stays on all the time. The sensor is still there so change to an unsealed battery if the light bothers you. We really prefer sealed batteries on early fuel injected bikes. The tank has a small dent and there are a few small scratches here and there but minimal for a 30 year old bike. Every flaw can be seen in the pictures. We have about 100 pictures at the DropBox link below so you can see every part of this clean classic beauty and how good and original it's condition is. Please ask any questions you may have. The new owner of this vintage beauty will not be disappointed. It runs perfectly!! Lots of smiles per mile with this one!! Numbers matching bike. Clear title in hand. Serial #JKAZXDE15EBS02182 Engine #Z750EE-006514 These Kawasaki's are rare in this condition and not many are left. Especially in this unrestored and basically overall original condition. This is your chance to own a final production year vintage classic 1985 Kawasaki ZX750-E2 Turbo that will turn heads. Don't let it get away. In time it will only increase in value if taken care of. Make us an offer. Ask any questions you may have. Below is a DropBox link with over 100 additional pictures so you can see every inch of this vintage classic. Copy the link below, paste it in your browser and hit go. dropbox.com/sh/hhwe33w2kaw5627/AABtuQSODZz6DhOYwytSE7sNa?dl=0 We will work with you any way possible on shipping and final payment. We have plenty of secure storage and we understand it takes time to line up a shipper. We strive for 5 Star ratings in all our listings. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and we try to represent all our items as accurately as possible. Keep in mind this bike is 30 year old. As with all motor vehicles, this bike is sold as is, where is with no warranty. We do offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied upon your personal inspection before shipping.

Hi,This is my Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo motorcycle.A brief history on the bike.I bought the bike from a friend at work 4 years ago.He ran the bike fairly continuously until the fuel pump went bad. He had it since 1995.I bought the bike from him in that condition. He used to ride the bike to work on a fairly consistent basis during the summer as I recall. The bike has around 10,700 miles or so.It sat in my garage and I did not get a fuel pump to get it going. Over all the bike is presentable as is but there is some red primer overspray (very slight) when the bike was in the same garage when using a spray can of primer nearby in the garage. Some elbow grease will get it off as I've confirmed.Hopefully the pictures will explain the bikes condition. Here are the key points that I can observe.1. There is a small rip in the forward part of the seat.2. The lower fairing section I do not have.3. The metzler tires appear OK.4. The bike rolls fine which tells me that the brakes are not stuck (and the brakes appear to work Ok)5. Left front fork seal is weeping and damp.6. Rest of the bike is all there and appears to be original.7. Sprocket and chain seem OK.8. I would probably cream the gas tank (should for any older bike).9. The bike needs battery.10. The bike is not pristine and will need some work. At a minimum the fuel pump, lot of elbow grease, detailing, etc. and frankly there may may be some other issues. The bike is being sold as is where is. All I know was the condition when I purchased the bike.11. It is a Massachusetts Title and on that note, my friend just signed the title so it is left open for the buyer's name and date. I usually buy a bike and keep the title that way, especially if I don't plan to register for a period of time and or decide to sell later.Probably many of you that love and routinely buy motorcycles probably do the same thing. So I will expect that you understand this about the title. The only time I ever received a negative feedback was once when I sold a bike on ebay with an open title this way, the buyer was a jerk and gave me negative feedback because the title was just signed and left open on the title. This guy was a TOTAL jerk and even implied he was getting his lawyer involved, etc. even when I said at the very beginning no big deal, you don't have to buy the bike and gave him back his deposit. He still threatened with all this nonsense and then of course gave me negative feedback. So if for what ever reason you are not cool with the title as described PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!!Like I said, for you guys that routinely buy motorcycles this is pretty routine. A few other conditions, I want the buyer to see the bike and go over to your satisfaction. If you don't want it after viewing, no problem, you don't need to purchase if you see something you do not like and I will cheerfully refund your deposit.I just ask that you are reasonable about why you don't want to purchase. So this means that I will obviously NOT ship the bike to a buyer sight unseen. You (or your designee) have to physically see the bike. I would rather that you actually like the bike and are pleased with the transaction. More important to me than just selling to anyone who is just speculating on the bike.I also reserve to end the auction early as I have it listed locally. The bike is in Springfield, MA. You can call me if you wish. 1-413-374-0814.Deposit of $500.00 by Paypal within 24 hours and balance in cash upon pickup. So those are the ground rules and I think they are reasonable. Not sure what else I can say about the bike, but Please let me know what else I can explain about the bike before you buy it now.Thank You and thanks for looking.
