Possibly the best example of a 1975 Kawi 900 in the USA. One owner. Never had a wrench on it. Always kept inside my hangar. 100% original with 1785 original miles. Needs tires and possibly a new speedometer cable. Vetter fairing included if wanted.

Awesome 1976 KZ900 Z1 for auction. This thing sounds mean and feels like it has the performance to back it up. Clutch feels like it has race springs in it. Not sure on the plates. Dyna ignition system. Seems to run good and wants to launch off the line. It does smoke occasionally. Not sure why. Seems to ride good as well. Has a newer battery and the tires look to be almost new. I was told by the 3rd owner that it has a fatter harley rim laced onto the kawasaki hub. Paint is black with either micro flake or some type of pearl. Tank is clean in the inside. Has a few nicks here and there. Mostly unmolested. Fender eliminated and after market taillight put on. Lowering blocks to drop the rear end. Not certain on the exhaust, but it looks like maybe kerker the way the header pipes are running. exhaust header pipes are wrapped. No baffle in the pipe. Overall a fantastic piece of history, and a good looking bike. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Leaks a tiny amount of oil through the stator cover which might just be the rubber grommet gasket where the wires run through. One of the floats might be sticking a bit as well. Bike is sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Ask questions if you are unsure of anything. please text or call if you wish 309 two three one . eight eight. 9 Three. Thanks

This is probably the cleanest Z1 you will ever find - one of a kind streetable show bike. If you're tired of blending into the crowd with a stretched Busa, then stand out with the original super bike. Daytona Bike Week show winner as well as TV and magazine featured. Engine is 1075cc with welded and balanced crank (in case you want to add a turbo or nitrous), lime margarita paint by Barrett Jackson, and powder coat throughout. Stretched, lowered, Suzuki GSXR wheels and brakes. Hand fabricated exhaust, seat pan swing arm, struts, etc. Onboard GPS. Too much to list - everything is top of the line. Less than 1,000 on build. Motivated seller. No test rides without cash in hand.

This ’78 Kawasaki Z1RTC Molly Graphics is one of only 250 made and sold through Kawasaki dealers. This bike is in excellent original condition, and has been perfectly maintained, and is stored in air conditioned comfort. Everything works perfectly as it should, except the fuel gauge. I believe those senders are available from Z1enterprises. Less than 200 miles on new tires. I have owned this low vin# Z1RTC since January 2009, and it has been titled in my name since then. It now has 9,975 miles. I bought it with 8,335 miles on the clock at the January 2009 Las Vegas Mid America auction, at the height of the recession. I added the Proxibid page from the auction lot in the photos section, showing the description from Mid America. In the 1,600 miles I have ridden it since then, I have added the Mikuni (stock carb and filter included in the sale), changed the oil, and replaced the tires about 200 miles ago. It comes with the ownership history trail, including registration documents and titles showing the previous owner bought it in 2003 with 8,249 miles, and the owner before him with 7,900 miles. It also includes the original Turbo Cycle registration and purchaser certification documentation from original purchase in 1979, as well as copies of title/registration paperwork for myself, and the 2 previous owners before me. Also included is the original owners handbook, Turbo supplement book, tool pouch and original set of 2 keys Options include the original ATP Stage 2 welded crank, and the ATP deep sump oil pan and Mikuni HSR42 carb with proper jetting. Original carb and airfilter included with the sale. The Mikuni solves all of the rough idle and mixture issues of the stock carb, and makes it much easier to ride around at normal speeds. See photos for how it looks with original triangular airfilter and current circular airfilter on the Mikuni Also included in the sale: ATP sales brochure, ATP wholesale and retail product catalogs, Turbo Cycle Corp Z1RTC sales brochure (too funny), Period magazine articles, Rayjay Turbos Maintenance and overhaul manual, hard copy of Motorcycle Classics magazine in which it was featured in Jan/Feb 2013 issue (see photos). Do search at Motorcycle classics website for ‘Z1RTC’ for the story. Mileage in those photos taken summer 2012 was 8,527.Winner ‘Best Japanese Motorcycle’ June 2012 Eastside Classic MC show in Austin TX. Nominated and shown at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, Austin TX 2015. As Cycle Guide said in April ’79 issue (photocopy included) “There’s just one sensible thing to do with a Kawasaki Z1R TC II turbo-chain it to your floor and feed it a little raw meet now and then. Little children and puppydogs will do nicely. When the moon is full, you might want to exercise the turbo a little, but always on a very short leash. It’s not intended to mix in polite society. As any Lon Chaney Jr. movie attests, average citizens break out pitchforks when they’re confronted with a werewolf. Just imagine their reaction to a 135 mph flame belching, tire smoking werewolf."As Motorcyclist Magazine said in August 1978: (copy included) The boost needle rose slowly at first, then progressively faster, then all hell broke loose inside the engine. As if catapulted from a carrier deck, the Z1R leaped forward at a frightening pace, with the tach needle hurrying toward the redline. The pull on the handlebars became more than a ski-slope rope tow, and seemed to double, and then quadruple as boost pressure increased. In an instant, the speedo needle flashed by the 100 mark, the tach needle had surged into the red zone and the boost gauge was jiggling near 8 pounds of pressure, its preset limit. Against a force which literally pinned his body rearward, Ken slapped the clutch leaver engaging 4th gear and within a second the speedo jumped to an alarming 120 mph, the tach had again swung into the red, and the road turned into streaks of indistinguishable color. When jerking the gearbox into 5th, Ken had expected, and somewhat hoped, that the acceleration would taper off, but the turbo showed no mercy-the handlebars were pulling, the wind was pushing, the noise was deafening and the sensation extra terrestrial. With terror embossed on his eyeballs, he watched the speedo skyrocket to an indicated 145 mph, where he finally called it quits, exhausted from the tremendous surge of acceleration Local pickup, or ship at your own cost. I will deliver to a Austin TX area shipping dock, but organizing shipping is buyer’s responsibility. $500 deposit by paypal in 24 hours of auction end, and full payment due in 7 days, by certified bank check/money order. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking.

This Kawasaki 900 Z1B was the last year produced. It is in near concourse condition. Everything works as it should. The carburetors were recently expertly tuned by a kawasaki dealer and it runs perfect. This example was part of a collection that was kept in a dust-free container and periodically started with all the required maintenance completed. It is OEM and has the rare blemish-free factory Takasago rims front & rear. All mechanical and electrical systems are OEM and perform as new. The tires have considerable tread left as well as the brake pads, front & rear. If you wish to preview this rare 900 Z1B in person, you are welcome to do so but it will require a deposit prior to any test ride. All offers will be considered and the terms are as follows: The $1000.00 deposit can be in the form of cash, Paypal or cashiers check. The deposit is Non-refundable and must be completed within 24 hours of auction end. The remaining amount will be in cash, wire transfer, or cashiers check. Due to the extremely high paypal fees, the remaining amount will not be accepted via Paypal. All bidders must have 100% feedback and new Ebay bidders will not be accepted. The title of this Kawasaki 900 Z1B is clear has has no liens or financial obligations. Once the successful bidder funds clear my bank, then I will release the title and the motorcycle, no exceptions whatsoever. I will provide a "Bill of sale" upon the deposit clearing my bank. Please check out my eBay feedback as well as my previous auction.I will consider any offer that is reasonable and retain the right to end this auction to sell this Kawasaki locally. I will not arrange but will make myself available based on my work schedule for your choice of transportation needs. *I recommend not using "Uship." This can result in a low, uninsured transporter and this example deserves better. This is a private sale and dealers and consignment companies need not inquire please. This is a rare opportunity to own the finest example of a Kawasaki Z1B 900. Good luck and please feel free to ask any questions you may have. *Video current as of this Ebay ad Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code

Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 Description The Z1 Kawasaki was a motorcycle introduced in 1972 by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. It has sometimes been described as the world’s first superbike. The Z1, along with Honda’s CB750 from 1969, introduced the four-cylinder, across the frame, disc-braked layout to a wider public. The Z1 was groundbreaking in that it combined many different elements which previous motorcycles had used into one performance package. The Z1 Kawasaki was developed in strict secrecy under the project name “New York Steak”. Some years previously, Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, decided to make a 750cc 4-cylinder 4-stroke sports motorcycle; they were beaten to the market place by the Honda CB750. Apparently, the bosses at Kawasaki disapproved and ordered their designers to come up with something better. The bike you see here is a ’73 Z1 900 that is in beautiful condition. We have the original retail buyers order and agreement that shows the bike was originally purchased June 18th, 1974 from Strathroy Small Engine. The bike retains its original engine (Z1E08169) as shown on the original bill of sale. The original paint on the bike is in near perfect condition with no imperfections to note. The emblems are all original and correct for the bike as well. Both stainless steel fenders look great with no damage or pitting showing to either. The seat looks great with no rips, tears or wear. The original 4 cylinder, 900 cc engine runs great and starts up with a push of the button. Brakes work as they should and the bike shifts with no problems. The motor is very clean with no scrapes to either side. The exhaust has some minor pitting as you can see in the photos. Here is you chance to own a Z1. VIN number is Z1F07973. ONLY 3,855 miles this bike is basically brand new. Always garaged. Comes with brand new replacement windshield still in packaging. Ninja 1000 is a highly advanced open-class powerplant -- a 1,043cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, 16-valve inline-four featuring a long-stroke design for instantaneous power, a slick-shifting six-speed gearbox, and no-fuss electronic fuel injection for the type of seamless throttle response that makes short work of tricky traffic.Power? The real magic of this engine is its flexible, midrange-heavy thrust that accelerates you out of corners and away from stops in a satisfying manner that's sure to keep you entertained -- and your riding buddies impressed -- for years to come. At seemingly every rpm, the Ninja 1000 engine produces the sort of smooth, instant-on thrust many hard-core sportbikes just can't match.Digital fuel injection helps, and the quartet of 38mm Keihin downdraft throttle bodies slam the perfect mix of fuel and air into the combustion chambers with help from an advanced ECU, oval sub-throttles and a cool air intake system that routes fresh air to the airbox via ducts at the front of the bike. A balance shaft driven off the crankshaft keeps the solidly mounted engine as smooth as possible, while a 4-into-2-into-2 catalyzer-equipped exhaust system offers a pleasing growl without being overly loud along with the cleanest possible emissions. This is a beautiful awesome bike, I bought a Harley and don't ride her much anymore. This bike has never been laid down, its in excellent condition with all kinds of custom work on it. High performance custom short pipes, tail light led eliminator kit, 2016 model mirrors for a Ninja that look absolutely awesome on it. Previously maintained and owned by a Kawasaki mechanic that did all the modifications and maintenance on it. This bike is super fast and has never been laid down. Custom carbon fiber sliders and sleek muscle bike look. This is one of the few years they painted these bikes black which is what I love about the look. Can only get them in that ugly kawi green now. Has always been garage kept and Kelly blue book shows $6665.00 for the value. Title is clean and this is a great buy with all the mods. I hate to get rid of it but I don't need two bikes and I need to let her go. Come see her and if you aren't in love at first site then you can offer me something other than what I am asking which is otherwise firm. 915-820-2523 PLEASE Text me first as I don't answer most calls. Pictures are online pics just so you know the basic model, my bike is much better looking with the modifications... Text me and I will be glad to text you actual pics. Thanks
