I am going to start out by saying,I own 14 bikes right now and I can honestly say that each and every vintage bike I own has some issue or quirk(NOT THIS ONE!) This bike starts and runs amazing, and with it's lowered stance and the drag type seat(it handles like a slot car) I also own a 1985 V-Max which is supposedly the fastest bike in 85. This bike feels stronger than the V-Max and I know for a fact it handles a lot better. I am going to be selling the V-max also but it needs the carbs gone thru(as do most of the other bikes I will soon be selling here on ebay) like I said in the beginning most of the bikes have issues, but not my eliminator. She starts up with just a little choke and runs perfect within seconds you can shut the choke all the way down. The lights all work. The brakes work fantastic. The only work i had to do to this bike besides customizing it with lowered shocks/seat/smaller turn signals and a axel mounted license plate so i could get rid of that butt ugly rear fender extension. I installed a manual cam chain adjuster from A.P.E. because I heard the nightmare stories about the auto adjuster screwing up at high RRRRS and the cam chain jumping a tooth and destroying these beasts. My price might be a little more than the other stock eliminators but most of them are the garden variety ZL900s not the 1 year only ZL1000 like mine. I did not keep any of the stock parts(I actually sold them on CL to be able to purchase the stuff I needed to build this sinister looking ride!! If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail me and I will get back to you promptly. I can store the bike while arrangements are made for shipping or you can just show up and ride this bike anywhere. Note:there is a tiny little ding on right side of tank on top by fuel cap(to little to show in pics) you can see it if the sun shines across the glossy black paint.

1986 Kawasaki Eliminator 900, A classic - the 1985/86 ZL900 Eliminator was the 1st bike as manufactured to do 0-60mph is less than 2 SECONDS. No kidding...for only a 900cc engine, this bike is a screamer. Shaft drive, water cooled, in-line 4 cylinder Z1-B engine. This bike has not been modified - except for the turn-signals, the bike is ALL ORIGINAL. You may see these occasionally that have been jacked with - custom carbs or exhaust - or paint - this is original paint, exhausts - everything. My bike needs some TLC though - I purchased new gaskets/seals for the oil pan, pump, et al - but have realized I don't have the time and have lost the heart to do anything with it. It is a 28 year old bike - in great shape - a classic only manufactured in 1985 and 1986. The pics show that the original OEM mufflers have no rust - the original tank with the decal - no dings - no dents - the finish is really, really good... Have a cover, two helmets, a "fork bag", the repair manuals - and replacement turn signals for the rear. s:// /hvideo-xap1/v/t42.1790-2/1194571_10201752803244664_30890_n.mp4?efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6ImxlZ2FjeV9zZCJ9&oh=29ec892062ca54098ce299d4798936c6&oe=5509927A

1985 Kawasaki Eliminator 900, ZL900 Introduced in 1985, and only produced for 2 years. It was produced as the ZL900 A1 Eliminator in 1985 and the ZL900 A2 in 1986, the ZL900 evolved from the Kawasaki GPZ900R. The ZL900 was designed to evoke images of the wildly successful Z1 drag bikes, with a bobbed rear fender, short travel fork, large rear tire, fat chromed mufflers, a small fuel tank and low straight handlebars. The ZL900 engine was a transplanted and slightly modified version of the liquid-cooled Inline 4 introduced in the 1984 Kawasaki ZX900 Ninja. Kawasaki used smaller 32 mm carburetors (the ZX900 used 34 mm), different timing and camshafts with less duration. This gave the engine a different personality, trading the Ninja's high-end power for low-end and mid-range performance that was more suitable for a cruiser. At the time, the ZL900 was the only bike in its segment using an Inline-four powerplant instead of a V4 configuration. These bikes were produced by Kawasaki in Lincoln, Nebraska for the American made. Custom painted in 2013, original parts all included along with upgrades shown on bike. Polished all Aluminum Parts. Comes with all new, in the original box, D&D 4 into 1 header exhaust system. $3,500.00 7658103400

For sale are (2) Kawasaki ZL900 Eliminators... One is a fully running project (bobber) bike and one is an almost complete parts bike... The main (project) bike is in great shape for it's age. . . It has approx. 11K miles on the clock (which I believe was correct). . . It has been modified with a removable hard tail for the rear end (still shaft drive), a custom fabricated one piece rear fender with a sort of bobber style sprung seat (which works well). . . The engine runs good (needs tuning). . . It still has the original tires on it! . . . This bike is 30 years old and has spent most of it's life stored so the forks etc. will need rebuilding (I was going to put a Yamaha R1 front end on it) but everything seems to work. . . It needs finishing but (if you know about them) these bikes used to eat the sport bikes of the day for breakfast and it will make a very cool and great sounding unique bike... The parts bike is almost complete with approx. 46K miles and it includes carbs (not shown) and seats etc. . .. This bike was not parted out from an accident and I was told it was running when it was originally stored. . . Lots of good parts on this bike. . . I don't have time to finish this bike(s) so I'm offering them both for sale. . . I have the Pink slips for both bikes but they have not been registered for many many years and should be well out of the DMV system. . . I might consider trading them for a good reliable pick-up truck (age doesn't matter if it's clean, reliable and original), otherwise the price is firm as I'm in no real hurry to sell and these are just going up in value now. . . Email me with questions and I'll get back to you. . . Thanks.

This is a great bike. Rides great. Lots of power. Bike looks mean and stands out. People always ask what it is. I have never seen another on the road since I've owned it. Parts are still easy to find as it shares the same motor with other bikes. Good condition - don't expect a show bike though, it is almost 30 years old. Bike is mostly original. Directional lights have been changed to bullet style aluminum units. Original mirrors replaced with bar ends. Sissy bar has been removed and license plate has been moved to rear of bike. You can't tell where the sissy bar used to be. I think it looks better this way.Issues: Has some chips and scratches.Air box covers have cracks. One seam on seat has separated. I stitched back together, but would look better if done by a professional. It does not have the return cable on the throttle. Never had it since I've owned it and I haven't missed it.Thanks for looking! Background on the Eliminator:Introduced in 1985, and only produced for 2 years.
