Very rare to find these bikes in original condition after 40 years. If you are thinking of restoring a KT250 this is the bike you want to start with due to its having all of the parts that are usually removed for dirt use such as lights, fenders, oil tank & pump, horn, speedometer, key switch w/key, side covers etc. Don't let the faded paint fool you, this bike is in original condition. The tank is dent free only having one tiny ding that is very difficult to find. This is only one of three KT's I have ever owned with the original handlebars since they have usually been bent and replaced. This bike is in AS FOUND condition and has not been cleaned, repaired or altered in any way prior to sale. Bike was started and ridden but has not been molested or doctored or messed with at all. Sold with BOS. THIS PRICE IS EXTREMELY LOW CONSIDERING THERE ARE BETWEEN $4000-5000 IN PARTS ON THIS BIKE. I HAVE PARTED KT FOR YEARS AND KNOW WHAT THIS ORIGINAL PARTS BRING. The petcock was replaced with a new OEM Kawasaki part, they are exactly the same as the original petcock. Clutch is stiff but works fine. I will include another complete clutch if requested. This KT250 is virtually completely original. Here is a list of some of the rare parts that are original on this bike: front & rear fenders and brackets, headlight & taillight, tires, rims (both have the original D.I.D. stickers, seat, grips (almost never seen, only used by Kawasaki on the KT250), working horn, original key switch & key, working speedometer, kick lever & shifter, handlebars (I have only seen one or two original KT handlebars (they are slightly tweaked but are so rare I wouldn't replace them), all handlebar switches are present and work, rear sprocket in good condition, the gas tank is dent free and clean inside with nice paint, side covers both have all tabs intact, oil injection system still present and working (many of these bikes have had the oil tank and pump removed), the only part that I can find that is not an original KT250 part is the fuel line from tank to carb, carb overflow line. The vent tube from the fuel tank is missing, the original tires still hold air but have sidewall cracks. The bike starts on the first or second kick and runs like new. Whether you want to ride this bike in vintage trials events or do a showroom restoration this is the bike to start with. Parts have become so hard to find and expensive that it makes much more sense to start with a bike in this condition/originality. I just saw a KT250 for sale that the owner spent $3000 in parts alone and the bike was not nearly as original as this one. BIKE COMES WITH A CLEAR UTAH TITLE ISSUED IN 1978. Very close to 100% original and complete (missing the following original parts: most of the stock oil injection system, stock carb (jetted for Utah elevation with a modern VM26 carb), air box and stock left hand side cover all of which can be located). Up for sale is my TY250 trials bike. The bike is unrestored and unmolested, has been used but not abused. I purchased the bike from an older gentleman who had owned it for many years but had been storing it for about 20 years. All the bike needed was a carb clean and it fired up immediately. The bike starts first kick every time and has good compression. Engine is solid, no rattling, clean oil in when I found it, in immediate need of nothing. Headlight and taillight work as they should, high and low beam. I am unsure if the oiler works, it is there and there's oil in the tank, but the oiler has been disconnected. Inside of tank is rust free, when I bought the bike it had some surface rust in it so I flushed it out with dilute phosphoric acid to neutralize the rust. There is a significant knee dent on the right side of the tank, I think it's restorable but it would take some metal pulling by a professional. It also needs a new rear tab which has broken off (common). Fenders should be replaced for they are aged/cracked and the seat needs a re cover. Lighting on/off switch broken off in the on position. All pretty basic "old bike" details. All in all, this is simply put an all original (except tires and new tail light) survivor which was lightly used. I think this is a nice find for you could just jump right on and ride it as is, or it would be a prime bike for an easy restoration. I have just had it in my shop along side all my other bikes and decided I have no real need for it. I also have a second complete headlight that I will include if the offer price is nearly met. These are extremely rare and worth around $200 alone. Will also include the original tail light which is just the base, no lens. If you are interested in shipping, it's all on you. I will take the bike to Forward Air to be freighted but that's about as far as I will go shipping wise. The bike is for sale local also, so if the auction terminates early that is why. This bike has no title, trials bikes are not street legal and a snail would probably outrun you anyhow! Thank you for looking and have a nice day.

1975 Kawasaki KT250 Trials great original condition has very low miles and the bike shows very little use everything works as it should when it came new the condition is very good the seat is nice NO tears side covers have all the tabs Tank has a very small ding right side near the filler and a few marks but the insde is clean NO rust. The forks have NO pits and work perfectly wheels are straight and rims are nice still have the DID stickers there are no tyre lever marks or dings these are the original Dunlops a little hard though.I replaced the Fork wipers Carb boot to air cleaner NOS parts and Chain. The handle bar light switch is NOT broken and operate covers on the levers are original.The headlamp shell has a rub mark and piant is missing on it and the rear light has a small scrap on the white holder. The bike motor is not polished it has the natural patina can easily be buffed up The exhaust was stripped and repainted NO dings Fender are nice NO cracks. The engine is sound runs great NO noises and all gears work. I have owned many KTs and this is by far the most original and nicest I have had the paint is not factory I think but its a desent job. You will be hard pressed to find such a clean original honest bike unrestored its 39 years old. Sorry to sell it but thining the herd any question please contact before bidding I can professionally crate as shown in another bike I crated with cardboard or sheet ply as needed and delivered to local shipper in LA for a fee.
