2017 KTM 65 SX, 2017 KTM 65 SX FAST HAS NO AGE LIMIT The 65 SX is a fully-fledged piece of racing kitsports equipment for young pilots aged around 8 to 12 years with a body height of up to 1.60m. This year s top ministudent features revolutionary WP AER 35 front forks, cool graphics and a lot of detailed improvements that setting the standard in terms of power, riding dynamics, equipment and craftsmanship. Like its larger counterparts, the 65 SX is truly READY TO RACE for its young competitors. Features may include: SWINGARM The 65 SX is fitted with a lightweight cast aluminum swingarm. Conceived using the latest in calculation and simulation software, the design and wall thickness have been made for minimum weight at optimum stiffness and precisely defined flexibility. In addition it features a robust 2-compound chain guide similar to the full-size models. FRONT SUSPENSION The new 65 SX is the first model in its class fitted with a modern, fully adjustable air fork: the AER 35, made by WP Suspension. Beside a massive weight reduction of 1.6 lbs, the newly developed upside-down front forks with 35mm tube diameter and 215mm of travel ensure outstanding comfort, damping characteristics and directional stability. Another main benefit for junior riders is that the air spring fitted in the left fork leg can be adjusted perfectly and simply to the rider s weight just with an air fork pump. REAR SUSPENSION On the rear wheel a WP monoshock linked directly to the swingarm provides excellent damping performance and is fully adjustable in order set the damping perfectly to rider s preferences and track conditions. The rear wheel travel is 270mm. WHEELS Like the big KTM factory racers, the 65 SX has super lightweight, black anodized, aluminum rims providing highest strength and safety. The OEM knobbly MAXXIS tires grip superbly on any surface. BRAKES The 65 SX is fitted front and rear with massive 4-cylinder calipers that grip lightweight wave brake discs of 198mm front and 160mm rear diameter. The hydraulic brake system is easy to control and ensures the best deceleration and the highest standard. ENGINE The 65 SX benefits from cutting-edge 2-stroke technology and an easy to shift 6-speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch. The cylinder, with its pressure controlled exhaust valve, provides class-leading power and plenty of torque. I have another streetbike for sale and if that sells first I am going to keep the KTM, so I have the right to end this listing at any time. This bike is showroom new with no visible wear anywhere. The bike has a $2300.00 aftermarket carbon fiber dual exhaust system that was installed by the dealer. The entire exhaust system was also sent out and ceramic coated. The bike sounds amazing and gets attention everywhere. The cdi was updated, the bike de-restricted, jetted and put on a dyno to tune all by the dealer. Aftermarket rear signals and a tail tuck kit. Bar end mirrors. All stock parts available. New battery for this year. The bike runs 100% perfect. With only 800 miles, everything is like new. The bike was in the dealer this summer for a 600 mile break-in checkup. The bike is way over 100hp, super light and a joy to ride. I purchased the bike blown up and went through the ENTIRE bike. Over $3000 invested in this restoration and build of this 85. I originally planned to keep it but i need money for college. This bike took 8 months to build, every piece was cleaned,inspected, and replaced as needed. This bike is very fast and will give any 150r a run for its money. The bike has a total of 8.6 hours on every part listed. This bike is LIKE NEW. Every seal and gasket on the entire bike is new. This bike runs and rides like it just came off the assembly line. However, I do still ride the bike every once in a while around my house. I only run Pro Honda HP trans oil and no toil air filter. Air filter is cleaned every ride, chain lubed/adjusted every ride, and oil the oil gets changed every 4 hrs. Also running only BP 92 pump gas mixed 32:1 with Belray H1-R Bike is VERY fast.
