Of all the bikes I've had, this has been by far the easiest and most fun to ride. I bought the bike used from a dealer down near Springfield, MO last summer. The bike has no problems and runs fantastic. With two active teenage boys, I simply don't have enough time to ride. Someone needs to put this bike to better use than I am. I put new Michelin Pilot Power tires on it about 800 miles ago. I also changed the oil and all 3 filters about 600 miles ago. The battery is strong and it is always on a Battery Tender. The bike is in excellent condition in my opinion. It has light wear consistent with its mileage. There is some light scuffing on one of the frame sliders on the left and two on the right (just enough to remove some of the white and raised letters on the pucks.....possibly rubbed against a wall? It's minor but I suppose it could have been set over (purposely or accidently) on a smoother surface such as a garage floor). Regardless, I felt it needed to be disclosed. The bike has approximately 9,150 miles which may go up some as I will continue to ride as the weather permits. The bike has been well cared for and always garaged. The Rottweiler Intake & Power Commander make the bike so much easier to ride around town. These bikes are fairly unique and you won't see many around town. If you're in the market for a Ducati Monster, Triumph Speed or Street Triple, Kawasaki Z1000, MV Augusta Brutale, Yamaha FZ-9, Honda CB1000r, etc, you should read the reviews on the Super Dukes before you take the plunge! MSRP - $9298 NVC Price - $8699 The KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition has warmed the hearts of riders for the past four years and now 250F lovers can get a trick Factory Edition machine from KTM, as 2015 marks the first year the Austrian brand has released a 250 SX-F Factory Edition. A bonus to the release of Factory Editions is they are a reliable preview of what the KTM SX-F models will be for 2016. In fact, wed bet all the money in your bank account that the 2016 KTM SX-F models will be almost identical to the Factory Editions, minus the graphics and a few of the bling items. We loved the new 2015 450SX-F Factory Edition (read the test here) and are now big fans of the new 250SX-F Factory Edition as well. KTM went all out when designing and building the Factory Editions, creating two of the lightest production motocross bikes ever. The Factory Editions are all about weight loss, mass centralization and improved performance. The new 250SX-F Factory Edition engine is not only smaller, its 2.4 pounds lighter and more powerful. The clutch is raised 26.9mm and moved back 11.1mm. The crank was moved up 6mm and the connecting rod is 6mm shorter. The cylinder is 130 grams lighter and the camshafts are 150 grams lighter, while the finger followers have a 30% harder DLC coating. Engine changes and improvements allowed KTM to raise the rev limiter to an incredible 14,000 rpm. The clutch basket is revised, to improve oil flow and cooling, and the clutch now uses seven plates instead of eight. The 250SX-F Factory Edition uses the same 44mm Keihin fuel injection system as its 450SX-F counterpart and the Keihin throttle body no longer uses linkage. New throttle cables feature the adjusters up at the throttle tube housing. An all new exhaust system sources a 40mm shorter muffler that is 60mm closer to the center of mass. (Above) The 2015 KTM 250SX-F Factory Edition engine is lighter and more powerful. (Middle) The new WP shock is shorter and lighter but offers up more rear wheel travel. Clean and clear title in my name. Note - This bike is listed as an OR/Off-Road (not street legal) vehicle, which means you'll need to do an extra step in getting it plated. This is usually called a "change of body style" form which confirms with an officer that the bike has all necessary gear to make it street legal (Indiana, this is all free to do). In this case, that's the installed enduro kit (mirror, turn signals, horn, brake light, head light). You can print this form off your states BMV website. All that being said, please check your local laws and see what you'll need to do if you're interested in getting it plated. Fast bike that looks great. Please message with any questions. I've used uship (an online marketplace for shipping goods) twice with great success. Both of which (sprint kart and 300xc) for less than $230 from the east coast to the midwest. I actually only paid $130 to have the kart shipped. All you have to do is start an ad on their site and shipping companies big and small will give you offers. The nice thing is you can get quotes before you even buy (or win an ebay auction) and you are charged nothing. It's basically a free way to get a bunch of quotes from shippers. Initially, you'll get high quotes from some of the big companies, but if you haggle and hold out (took about 24 hours for the good bids to start rolling in), you can get a great deal. For both my shipments the initial quote was over $500 and after about 24 hours, I had a few offers around $250 and then haggled my way to less than $230. Great site and I'd recommend it. Also, I'm available to meet the shipping company to pickup literally anytime the next three or four weeks, so that may open up some shipping options when filling out the ad details.
