Recently renewed vintage KTM 350 MXC. Suspension completely rebuilt. White Power forks rebuilt by Pro Action in Pittsburgh PA. Clutch side cover is brand new OEM - Extremely hard to find if not impossible to locate. New water pump and seals etc. Almost all rubber components, air boot, reed cage, etc have all been replaced with factory KTM parts. New Dyno Pro pipe from Bender racing. New brakes , chain, sprockets. New tires are period correct Metzlers. Tank has been sealed and painted. Original style UFO plastics replacement headlight. New handle bars and seat cover. New cables. This bike was originally owned by Bill Eyler of East Coast Maico. I am the third owner and put this together to ride occasionally. It has not been raced or abused since being rebuilt. It runs strong and starts easily. I have all original take off parts as well as original paperwork. Will consider offers and possible trades.

Maximum fun factor guaranteed! Features May Include: TRANSMISSION The 6-speed gear box is specially matched to the power delivery of the 350cc engine and any kind of enduro riding. It is distinguished by easy and precise shifting. VALVE TRAIN The crankshaft drives a laterally positioned intermediate shaft that also acts as a balancer shaft, water pump drive and timing chain drive for the two camshafts. A hydraulic chain adjuster ensures reliable chain tension and consequently extremely precise valve timing. DDS CLUTCH Optimized for 2014, the single-piece basket of the DDS (Damped Diaphragm Steel) clutch is machined from solid high-tensile steel in one piece together with the primary drive gear. This process guarantees unbeatable reliability and contributes to the narrow engine width due to its compact rivet-less design. Additionally, this construction allows the use of thin steel linings which also contribute to the compact clutch dimensions. The diaphragm spring makes it possible to implement an additional rubber damping system inside the clutch hub, guaranteeing reliability for the transmission and good traction. In addition, a stronger inner hub further increases stability. Finally, the hydraulic clutch mechanism by Brembo in conjunction with the diaphragm spring guarantees a very light operation and good controllable modulation of the clutch. ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS) The Engine Management System (EMS) by Keihin with electronic fuel injection and 42mm throttle body ensures a spontaneous response and maximum engine performance. With an optional map-select switch from the KTM PowerParts program, EMS allows selecting different engine characteristics. In additon, the optional User-Setting Tool allows to readout engine data with a laptop and change the ignition and injection mappings with a few mouse clicks. The nimble but powerful bike comprises of almost as much power as a 450, but with the agility of a 250 so the basic idea is easily summarized, and has been a concept with success from the start. Features may include: ENGINE The new DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) engine of the 350 XC-F features a completely new construction in order to make it even more compact and powerful than before. Fitted with the latest electronic fuel injection system, it has a very wide and usable power spread while still delivering high performance. The new design has made the engine 20 mm shorter than before, while reducing the weight by 2 lbs. CYLINDER HEAD The new cylinder head features an improved combustion chamber geometry, two overhead camshafts with a friction-optimized super-fine surface, new finger followers with a 30 % harder DLC coating and high-flow ports. In conjunction with new valve springs and retainers for the four lightweight titanium valves (intake 36.3 mm, exhaust 29.1 mm) the flow rate has been maximized for an optimal power band with more performance across the entire range, which peaks at 13,400 rpm. The peak performance now is at 58 hp. CYLINDER AND PISTON In the redesigned and shorter cylinder, with a bore of 88 mm, works a weight-reduced forged bridged box-type piston made by CP. Its new piston crown geometry is adapted to the new high-compression combustion chamber and stands out with its extra rigid structure and low weight. Thanks to the low oscillating masses, the engine is extremely lively. The compression ratio is 14:1. ELECTRIC STARTER The new 350 XC-F is fitted with an electric starter as standard, which a clear advantage when it comes to crunch time in the heat of battle. A new starter motor made by Mitsuba (modified for easy disassembly) and a weight reduced starter drive guarantees more efficient and reliable starting CLUTCH The highly compact CSS clutch (Coil Spring Steel) features a weight reduced, wear-free steel basket, and now seven instead of eight clutch plates, which are extremely heat resistant due to their steel carrier discs. In addition, a reworked inner hub and a pressure plate guarantees a better oil supply along with even better cooling of the clutch.
