For sale is a 2006 KTM 450 SMR that has been fully street legalized PA title in hand. For more information on the street legal build contact me and I can share the online build log. This bike is in excellent condition, the only negatives I can think about is that the headlight does not work, and will need a new bulb, and the brake lever end is broken off due to a fall in the garage. In all honesty I don't ride at night often, and when I do the high beam is always on anyway as the normal headlight didn't throw much light. Otherwise it is in great shape. The Odometer shows just under 1800 miles, but I installed the trail tech vapor when I got the bike in 2009, so it will have some more unrecorded miles before I owned it. Runs strong, only premium oil used, and changed every 3-400 miles. Tires are in good shape and everything else works well, not much to comment on. Always stored indoors, and usually in a heated garage. Clean and clear title in my name. Note - This bike is listed as an OR/Off-Road (not street legal) vehicle, which means you'll need to do an extra step in getting it plated. This is usually called a "change of body style" form which confirms with an officer that the bike has all necessary gear to make it street legal (Indiana, this is all free to do). In this case, that's the installed enduro kit (mirror, turn signals, horn, brake light, head light). You can print this form off your states BMV website. I've used uship (an online marketplace for shipping goods) twice with great success. Both of which (sprint kart and 300xc) for less than $230 from the east coast to the midwest. I actually only paid $130 to have the kart shipped. All you have to do is start an ad on their site and shipping companies big and small will give you offers. The nice thing is you can get quotes before you even buy (or win an ebay auction) and you are charged nothing. It's basically a free way to get a bunch of quotes from shippers. Initially, you'll get high quotes from some of the big companies, but if you haggle and hold out (took about 24 hours for the good bids to start rolling in), you can get a great deal. For both my shipments the initial quote was over $500 and after about 24 hours, I had a few offers around $250 and then haggled my way to less than $230. Great site and I'd recommend it. Also, I'm available to meet the shipping company to pickup literally anytime the next three or four weeks, so that may open up some shipping options when filling out the ad details.
