Hi, Dne' here I have my '03 KTM 525sx supermoto for sale street legal with a clear Texas title(a challenge in itself). It has the big bore kit making it more like a 560cc and 6 speed transmission. Since I've owned it I've added: Electric start(500), 's Stealth speedometer/tach, Headlight/ street harness, stator upgrade(350.oo)+300.oo), rear fender, kick stand, radiator fan(100.oo), High flow water pump(120.oo), and other things including a Corbin seat, bought used for 170.oo but is nice)! The wheels tires alone are 2000.oo! Actually, I could probably part it out and make more money! lolIt's cold natured, warms up quickly and ready to ride at 170degrees. the electric fan will kick on at 215 and maintain 210ish on a hot Houston day. Any KTM rider would say to cut the engine off if not moving or stuck in traffic.Only weighs about 220lbs or so. I didn't replace the chain and sprockets cause I didn't know which way to go to optimize what I may have needed. The chain/sprockets are OK for now. Just didn't want to spend anymore money on it. I don't think I've had it over 50 mph! lol This bike is for no beginner and this is more of a high maintenace bike(Valve adjustments every 20hours, oil changes), but I must say the bike is relatively easy to work on! If you come out to ride it, you will give me the money and sign something that's ride at your own risk! Serious ;)I'm asking 4200.oo obo, but no trades, kind of getting out of bikes for a while, at least until we move away from Houston.

The bikes in great condition. I purchased it new for a set of bucket list rides when I retired. It's been to all the countries in the Americas from Ushuaia to Prudhoe Bay. I've finished my adventure touring days and now will be sticking to the pavement on a Goldwing. The bike has not been abused or crashed. The maintenance schedule has been followed and there have been few needs other than scheduled maintenance. Recently serviced and rear tire just replaced. This bike has a Fender Elminator Kit and LED Turn Signals. When KTM revealed its RC390 back in July 2013, the company's CEO Stephen Pierer described the machine as meeting "a big demand for affordable, quality sportbikes for the lower displacement class." In addition to that however, it was also revealed that the new RC390 would be the motorcycle used for the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM, an entry-level racing series in Germany.
