Well, it's time to let go of my baby and move on. I've owned the bike since it had 1300 miles on it and it's always been well maintained. Always garage kept, oil changed EVERY 3-4000 miles with Mobil 1 full synthetic and either K&N or factor oil filters and always run with premium gas. Never had any mechanical issues with it since I've owned it other than regular maintenance items like tires, battery, etc. I just put a new yuasa battery in it a few months ago and the carb was just completely cleaned and rebuilt. The bike has a MRD SSW exhaust system, high compression base gasket (single layer), 2001 E model intake cam, 3x3 mod, MCCT, K&N air filter, and the carb is jetted to match. It also has case savers, chopped front fender, smoked rear led taillight with integrated turn signals, led front turn signals, and I'm sure some other things I'm forgetting. The gearing was changed from 15/41 to 16/41 for better highway commuting using RK 520 XSO X-Ring chain and JT sprockets. The bike has 19,9xx miles, but it runs and rides excellent. Purchased this Harley Davidson with a custom build in mind. Found a very reputable engine builder and had the engine gone over to make it perform just a little better than the stock 1340. I wanted big forks with a big tire in the front. A must was a 200 tire in the back. Once again I hired a Harley builder to build my needs. Purchased the new wheels and tires and the custom parts needed for the frame widening and the rubber belt to be able to make it all work. Had 10 years of wonderful riding on this Harley that performs and handles the way a custom is supposed to! I have not ridden it in 2 years, so it sits in my shed! It needs to be gone! BMW K100 1986 BRICK Motorbike

BMW K-100 Bike needs TLC. This bike needs some patience that I don't have anymore. New battery, and a few not so expensive parts will do it. Have spare parts etc. for it as well. Had it "unpretty" setup as a rat bike anyway, who wants to polish chrome all day? Engine good but has a hole in a tube so it gets false air and will not run happily and stalls, yet it starts up when jump started. I had it repaired to a certain stage about 2 years ago with lots of new and replacement parts, injector nozzles, gas tank internals like pump and lines, the black box, braking fluid containers front and rear etc.etc. Was starting up then and does now, stored in garage since 2013. Come to realize it is not so important to me anymore since my son was born. I will ad a repair manual book for free about 30 bucks of value. Make an offer, you pick up, bring a trailer.
