This is a very complete 400F, I picked this up with the intention of doing a full on as new restoration (I have recently started shifting my attention from British to 70's Japanese) but it turns out I am at least a year away so here it goes down the road, when I picked it up it was actually being ridden daily, It runs great but the electric start is not working (the button is missing), the side stand is missing (looks like it broke off and someone tried to weld), the exhaust is very good with the muffler having a few small dings and the header being dent free, the chrome is delaminating at some of the head pipes (nice enough to re-chrome), the bike is actually very quiet with the stock exhaust, it has a pair of progressive shocks, and brand new Bridgestone tires, I have a NY title in hand, it has miles but it seems pretty tight, the triple clamps are good with no cracking, the motor is pretty quiet but I would at least check the cam chain adjustment, I went through the carbs last weekend and it runs pretty close to perfect, starts on 1-2 kicks, idles, all the signals and brake lights work but it does need a headlight, again it is original from the bars to exhaust (with the exception of the shocks), and worth spending time on, there are a few buffs on the headlight ring and one gauge trim ring but no corresponding damage on anything else (?), as always shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the motorcycle is for sale locally.

BSA BSA 650 Lightning

I picked up this BSA about 3 years ago with the intention of going through it and using as a weekend rider, but unfortunately I need the money for other things so she's gotta go, it's a very nice low mile motorcycle that is completely original except the paint (frame paint is original) the paint is very nice and the pin striping is by hand (it could use tank decals as one is stained), it also has a very desirable Borranni on the rear (I will provide the buyer a matching front rim for $100 if they want) it was put away running but drained of fuel, I did lose the key so the lock is out so it can be keyed, the only other thing is it needs a set of air cleaners (I used them on my Hornet), the original exhaust and seat are very nice as are the fenders and gauges, in general this is a very nice low mileage motorcycle, this will be sold with a Bill of Sale, a transferrable registration is available but it will cost about $200 as I will have to register the motorcycle and pay sales tax (you can register a motorcycle that is this old just about anywhere on a Bill of Sale) I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the bike is for sale locally.

Beautiful GT550 offered which has been completely gone through from frame up, The motor has been rebuilt with new seals, pistons, rings, wrist pins, bearings, etc., the carbs have been completely rebuilt including jets, needles,slides and floats,it has been painted with the correct codes, it has practically new tires and a new seat cover, the handlebars are new, the contours close to original but not dead nuts (and they are Black), all the rest is original equipment in good condition that has been cleaned and polished but not re-chromed there is some pitting throughout the fenders and some chrome parts, the exhaust is just OK, there is no rust but there are some dings and scrapes, the good news is the baffles are all intact and this thing sounds great (on the quiet side but great) every things works correctly with the exception of the blinkers which need a flasher (they work but don't flash) and the gear indicator which I will sort out, it generally starts on 1 kick or a short stab at the electric start, it does literally have less than 1 miles since the ground up going over, I would always encourage anyone who can to view the bike in person, shipping as always is the responsibility of the buyer. This is really a nice bike. Custom cruiser, Runs great. Very comfortable with the mustang seat, especially for long trips. Trust me, you will not be disappointed it is so soft. The lights in the rear are leds. This is really a special touch and can be seen better than the standard lights. cobra rear foot pegs, front non slip foot pegs, foot rest bar, front windshield, leather saddle bags, chromed body panels, headlights and turn signals with the rr covers. This bike was never in an accident. Some pitting on front chrome lights, see pics. Please ask any questions before bidding. Blue and black with silver sparkle trim. All the digital instruments work. Passed an inspection for this year. please see all pictures. Just to let you know I am selling the bike, not because there is a problem with it, but i have had surgery to my muscle in my elbow and for the last 2 years i still cant hold things in my right arm.
