IN VERY GOOD PLUS IMMACULATELY CLEAN & WELL METICULOUSLY KEPT CONDITION COSMETICALLY AND MAINTENANCE WISE. THIS IS THE 1999 ORIGINAL RARE HALF FAIRING MODEL SERIES THAT CAME STOCK WITH TERMIGNONI 900SS EXHAUST PACKAGE. GARAGED IT'S ENTIRE LIFE. ALL SCHEDULED MAINT SERVICES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED ON TIME INCLUDING A FORK REBUILD AND DUAL BELT REPLACEMENT AT THE 20K MARK. SMOKED FAIRING WINDSCREEN, HAS A FRESH SHINKO R009 ON THE REAR AND THE FRONT HAS A PIRELLI DIABLO WITH 2K ON IT. I JUST CHANGED THE OIL WITH KLOTZ V-TWIN 10W40 & K/N FILTER. I INSTALLED A UNI RACE AIR BOX FILTER AND CUSTOM SARGENT SEAT JUST AFTER I GOT IT. THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THE TRANSMISSION FREE BREATHER FILTER INSTALLED. I PUT A NEW YUASA BATTERY IN LAST JUNE AND HAVE KEPT IT ON A TRICKLE CHARGER EVER SINCE. IT RUNS AND RIDES PERFECTLY. I PURCHASED IT WITH JUST OVER 20K ON IT AND DO NOT RIDE IT AS OFTEN AS I SHOULD. This Gold Wing is in great shape for it being a 1975 year model. It has had two owners. Always been garage kept. This bike was on the cover and had a feature story on it in "Wing World Magazine" (I tried to find a copy of the magazine. No luck. The last owner has it but is unable to find it at this time, the look is on going) The bike only has a few minor paint scrapes. The seat has a small place on it from what looks like a mouse may have started to chew it. Brake fluid got on the RH tank cover (I polished it out but still has a light streak in the paint) its really not that noticeable. Speedo was replaced with 58K on it (I do not have documented proof of this, the last owner gave me this information verbally. He said the old speedo stopped working so he replaced it with a new one) the new one now shows 1763.5, I believe this to be true, do to the cleanliness of the bike and is overall condition. As a bike owner you can tell if a bike has been ridden hard. This one has not been. New rear tire, light wear on frt. tire, new battery, new radio. This bike had been in storage for the past 10yrs, I reworked and tuned the carbs, replaced the fuel lines and filter, tank has no rust inside of it, new air filter, completely serviced the bike, checked everything, this bike is in a ready to ride condition. As you can see this bike has a lot of options on it. The rear seat can be removed and the trunk slides forward, making it a back rest for solo riding. Cool feature I think. Lots of chrome!!! This bike has spent it entire life locally here in the Eastern High Sierra's, their is not a speck of rust on it. So if you are looking for a almost like new example of a vintage GL1000 Gold Wing, don't pass this one up, Its a sweet one.
