This is a great running bike. Don't judge it by the way it looks. 2000 Triumph Sprint ST sport touring bike. It's ratty but it runs great.I'm selling my Sprint because I spend too much time with my newer bike and not enough time with this. I've neglected it the past couple years. It's time for it to go to a better home and I need the money. If I didn't need the money I'd keep it just to enjoy a couple rides a year with it. This bike was my primary transportation from 2001 to 2009. It's taken me everywhere reliably through all seasons. Up until the past couple years I treated it great and kept up on the little maintenance it's required.You could consider riding it in winter with the salt mistreatment and I might agree as that is the reason for the corrosion on some of the aluminum. Look closely in the pictures and you'll see it. It's most noticeable on the end of the muffler. It's been inon its side four times, 2 at zero mph and 2 at about 10 mph. You can see the scratches on the bags. I removed the bodywork because of a crack from one of the falls but the bodywork will go with the bike if you want it. It has the sought after stock ST only single sided swingarm. Corrosion has locked up the eccentric adjustment for the chain and the rear brake rotor and pads need to be replaced. This work won't be hard to do but I don't have the time and energy to do it. It's rideable now as is but the back brake won't slow you down right now and the chain will need adjustment before long. I put new Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires on it last year and have only put around 200 miles on them. It still handles good and it will still go 145 mph though of course I do not condone it. It comes with a nice Triumph durable and waterproof tank bag and the Triumph quick detach luggage saddlebags. Besides the ratty look it's a great bike. Great for a daily rider or a great platform for a streetfighter.Good: Very reliable. 955 three cylinder engine, same design that is used on new Speed Triple. Best street bike tires you can by and they are just broken in. Center stand besides kick stand. Hard bags. Tank bag.Bad: Ratty, You can ride it home but it will need some attention before riding it hard.My email is [email protected] I'm happy to answer questions.The asking price is reasonable. Very nice classic Honda CB that has been completely reconditioned . I have owned it for 2 seasons and its been a great all round bike. I have done the following improvements to the bike since I purchased it. New front and rear tires, Rebuilt entire brake system and replaced factory rubber lines with braided stainless steel for added stopping power. purchased removable windshield , Custom leather Corbin seat (very comfortable), throttle lock (cruise control) , New grips, new spark plugs, changed the oil every 2000 MI with Lucus semi synthetic oil and filter, had shop adjust valves and cam chain. the bike comes with a Kirker exhaust system for added performance. It has 5 speed transmission with a hi lo range shifter for highway or in- town driving.This cycle is shaft drive for smooth operation and low maintenance . It runs like it was brand new and is a joy to ride around town or on the highway. I have the original shop manual for all repairs and service instructions.The bike has just under 26,000 mi on it. I also have records of all service and parts. I am only selling this trust worthy bike because we our moving out west and cant take it with us.
