Up for sale is a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600cc Mean Streak Special Edition. I bought this bike 2011 from original owner w/ 2k mi. Now it has 8.7k mi. It is an ABSOLUTE THRILL to ride, plenty of power and torque when you need it, but smooth and comfortable when you don't. Regular sunday riding, you can easily get 50+ MPG. The bike has 2 powerful speakers w/ amp (USA), set up on the handle bars, with a 3.5mm AUX plug. There is also an Universal mount for cell phone/GPS/MP3/etc attached in the front so you can connect your device to the speakers to enjoy the beautiful audio quality. Speakers are very loud and the quality is phenomenal. Relax and lose yourself in the twists and turns of New England roads while listening to your favorite tunes.On the left hand side, there are two 12v car charger sockets so you can charge your electronic devices. There are two switches on the right side of the bike. 1st that control the power to the speakers and 2 car chargers. 2nd switch is for 5 red LEDs, previous owner installed throughout the bike. The condition is excellent, never been dropped, crashed or damaged. The oil was changed last season and so was the rear tire. The front one will need to be replaced. Included are the photos are of the actual bike. The battery was replaced for OEM battery last season. When starting the bike, it fires right up. Idles steady and smooth, shifts great, and rides just beautifully. Absolutely no problems.The 2008 Mean Streak Special Edition is a pretty rare version to find, especially in this great of condition, such LOW miles and with this many great aftermarket cosmetic and performance parts. The aftermarket parts add up to way over $2,000 ! Vance & Hines Big Shots Exhaust $530, J&M MHAS-2008 Speakers $560, Kuryakyn Hypercharger Air Cleaner $260, Dynojet Power Commander III USB $340, Aluminum Footpegs $700, Kuryakyn Flame Grips $70, RAM Mount Universal Finger-Grip $60. The book value on the stock 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan Mean Streak SE is $5,600. So already you are saving money, plus you get all those brand name extras, basically free of charge. The title is clean, and in hand. Interested parties can come look at the bike, but only those who bring the purchase price can take a test ride. Too risky otherwise. Please do not waste my time or yours by playing games or trying to scam. Once the purchase is complete, $500 deposit has to be sent immediately. Then within a couple days, you must come down to Western Mass with the rest of the money, $4,800 IN CASH, and pick up the bike. If you come within few days as agreed, with cash, I will knock $75 off the purchase price (dinner, gas, etc. for quick arrival). If you are located too far away, and want to have the bike shipped, then all of the shipping company arrangements and details would be up to you to arrange. If need be, we can work out a time so that I would be home when the shipping guys show up, but that's about it. Even if you want to have the bike shipped, within a day or two, you must mail me a bank certified check via USPS Priority Mail, or another expedited service from UPS or FedEx. I really don't want to deal with the hassle and extra time of bank certified checks (would have to cash first) or the freight shipping.
