Honda : Gold Wing Honda 1500 Goldwing -- 1500I model

This is a well cared for 1991 Goldwing Interstate -- the Anniversary model in gold paint with brown seats and trim. The bike is in good mechanical condition and had the timing belts replaced about 5,000 miles ago. Although an old girl with 104,000 miles, it goes down the road just fine. She is a beauty and I've changed oil and filter about every 3,500 miles using synthetic 10/40 oil. The longest trip I took was to South Dakota -- otherwise, hops around the northern Midwest states. It is not in perfect condition, but is in good condition and able to go wherever, but this older version has carbs and doesn't get 40mpg the newer fuel injected bikes get. I did upgrade the headlights to the "newer" 2000 year model, put on air horns, a 12v 3-way power unit (I plugged in my Garmin), and put on lower plastics to protect my legs from rain and bugs. It can be hard starting when cold, but otherwise starts and runs smooth when warm. Does not use oil between changes but will have some smoke at cold start-up -- remember it is 23 years old. It has the usual scrapes and wear and tear of its age, but it is a joy to ride. Has been garaged its life with me and has been stored in a heated garage during winter. I am selling it due to health reasons. Please email me with any questions.
