The bike needs a little work but not much. The stator, rotor and regulator needs replacing. It needs the carbs done, brake light cable, choke cable, speedometer cable. The front tire is brand new, the back tire is good but has a nail in it. Its a good little bike and i prefer not to sell it but finaicial reasons because of college are forcing me into it. It was running good when i parked it, and i start it about every two months and then drain the fuel. It runs a little rough when I get i started but its just been sitting in my yard. There are not many of these I have seen with the chrome tank and fenders. Its a very good conversation starter. I really hate to get rid of it and if i was working instead of in school it would have already been fixed. I would rather have someone who appreciates it and has the money to fix it ride it, instead of it sitting in the yard. 2000 Honda XR250R Owner's a quad guy, not a bike guy! 60-75 miles since engine rebuild by well respected tech, runs well, sounds good. Newer Acerbis plastics; GOOD handguards, not just flimsy plastic; Moose Racing seat; OEM exhaust (not noisy). Chain & Sprockets good. Rear tire good to excellent, needs front tire and chain slider.
